Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Best Western Kampen Hotel. Service und Sauberkeit des Zimmers kann nicht besser sein. Mit der u-bahn ist mann in 5 minuten ins Zentrum. Wir haben ein Apartment-Zimmer mit Küche und Badezimmer und war sehr schön und bequem. Ich kann es nur empfehlen.

Die Lage zur Stadt und Oper (gleich vis à vis) und Verkehrsanbindung, ist einfach gut. Man befindet sich sich mitten drin und ist doch einwenig ausserhalb. An der Umbebung des Hotels wird aufgrund der Nähe zur Oper (zu Fuß, über die Strasse..;-)...alles neu aufgezogen, dieses ist jedochn nicht mit Lärmbelästigung verbunden...Das Hotel an sich selbst hat zum Preis/Leistungsverhältniss die volle Punktzahl! Da ich sehr häufig in diesem Land bin und mittlerweile viele Hotels aller Klassen kenne, kann ich hier nur mein volles Lob anbringen. Weiter so! Werde das Hotel wieder buchen.

Super lage, sehr zentral, Zimmer etwas staubig, strassenverkehr (lärm), zimmer etwas ringhörig, frühstück oke, hotel alles in allem oke, zu empfehlen für kurzen städtetripp!

"Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt!"
Das Hotel liegt ganz zentral, zu Fuß kann man alles im Sentrum schnell erreichen. Einmal wurden unsere Handtücher versehentlich nicht gewechselt. Ansonsten waren wir wirklich sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel und dem Service. Kostenloser Internetzugang an zwei PCs an der Rezeption sind sehr praktisch um zu checken, welche Museen geöffnet sind. "Beste Lage in Oslo, super für Stadttrip"
Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Zimmer sind eher klein aber absolut sauber und auf dem großen Flatscreen wurde man namentlich willkommen geheißen. Das Frühstück war gut: keine Brötchen, dafür aber selbstgebackenes Brot, verschiedene Müslisorten, Kaffee, Cappucino, Rührei, Speck, etc.. Außerdem gab es reichlich Aufschnitt plus Lachs, Krabbensalat und […] reichlich Früchte. Ansonsten, die Lage des Hotels ist absolut klasse: 10 Minuten zu Fuss bis zum Königspalast und ca. 5 Minuten bis zur "Einkaufsstrasse". Bis zum Wasser, wo auch das Rathaus steht läuft man auch ca. 10 Minuten. Wir waren absolut zufrieden und würden das Hotel jederzeit weiterempfehlen! Mehr

Zentral gelegenes Hotel mit sehr sauberen, freundlichen Zimmern. Das Frühstücks-Buffet war auch sehr reichlich.

In der Zeit,als wir im Hotel waren, war leider die Kaffeemaschine und die Spülmaschine defekt, sodass wir von Plastikgeschirr frühstücken mussten. Das war leider etwas chaotisch. Das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich und gut.
Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen, dafür ist der Lärmpegel in der Nacht relativ hoch. Die Zimmer sind sauber und funktional eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet hat ein gutes Angebot, der Frühstücksraum ist jedoch zu eng, war jeweils total überfüllt und oft fehlten auch Teller oder Besteck, was lange Wartezeiten verursachte. "Freude aufs Frühstück"
Tolle Lage, sehr zentral gelegen. Dadurch war Samstag Nacht in Richtung Rosenkrantz Gate bis morgens um 3:30 sehr laut, wegen der nahelegenden Disco. Freundliches Personal, geräumige Zimmer mit allem Wichtigen und etwas mehr.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und man kann die ganze Innenstadt fußläufig erreichen. Auch die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel liegen ganz in der Nähe. Dafür gibt es keine Parkmöglichkeiten. "Mitten im Zentrum super Service"
Das Hotel war tip top. Es liegt mitten im Zentrum, ganz in der Nähe von mehren Bars und Clubs was für uns sehr von Vorteil war. Das Zimmer war sauber und hatte sehr gemütliche Betten. In 5 - 10 Minuten zu Fuss ist man am Meer und gegenüber vom Hotel ist eine Busstation und ein sehr zu empfehlender Imbiss :). Gerne wieder Gruss aus der Schweiz

Für mich ein empfehlenswertes Hotel, für mich empfehlenswert, ausser Frühstück braucht etwas Nerven: + zentral gelegen + gute Zimmer + zwei frei verfügbare PC mit Internet in Lobby + Freundliches Personal + Frühstücksraum im Untergeschoss, der meistens leer ist. - Zimmer in den Innenhof sind wegen Klimaanlagen und Lüftungen ebenfalls etwas laut, aber […] passabel - Kleinigkeiten, wie Duschvorhang, der dann das ganze Bad überschwemmt - Frühstück ist etwas Massenabfertigung, an diesem merkt man halt, dass es sich um ein Touri-Restaurant handelt. Ich habe das Frühstück rasch gegessen, und dann jeweils in Ruhe den Kaffee am Strassenrand vor dem Hotel genossen und Leute beobachtet. Es gibt auch im UG (ohne Tageslicht) einen weiteren Esssaal, der ist meistens absolut leer. Mehr

"Sehr grosses Zimmer mit grossem Bett - schön!"
Positiv: Mein Zimmer war ein Traum, gratis Internet bei Reception Negativ: netter EmpfangsreceptionistInnen.... aber leider kriegte ich ein Zimmer bei dem grad vor der Eingangtür laut renoviert wurde am nächsten Morgen. Nur für Frühauschecker geeignet. Bei Reklamation haben sie die Arbeiten aber dafür sofort eingestellt.

Morgenessen/Raum des Morgenessens: Boden war täglich mehr als klebrig, am letzten Tag (ein Montag) kaum Platz zu sitzen (total überfüllt), Geschirr zu knapp, Orangensaftmaschine war am letzten Tag defekt bzw. es hatte keinen Orangensaft mehr, zu wenig Personal für`s Buffet und zum Abräumen. Der Raum und das Essen hat nicht dazu eingeladen auch sonst […] mal da zu essen, auch wenn es eine Preisredutkion gegeben hätte. Good quality, reasonably priced overnight accomodation in central Oslo near to rail, bus and tram transport. Friendly, efficent staff with minimal problems in checkin/out at even the earliers times.

The location of the hotel was perfect, the staff was nice, however, my room was too cold, the climate control in the room was not working, I called several times to complain about the cold temperature in my room. after several times, they sent a heater to my room, but the heater didn't work, I just gave up and walked around with the blanket that was […] provided. "A good room at a fair price"
Everything was very good indeed. I liked that WiFi was part of the price. Good bed and bathroom. The breakfast was also very good. Only one little complaint was that I like a completely dark room and the light from the Minibar lit up the room quite a lot so I had to use towels over the Minibar to get the room completely dark.

Excellent value for the price I paid. Wonderful service, very comfortable rooms at competitive prices. Breakfast was superb and the 20% discount on other meals at the restaurant was very much appreciated. I would highly recommend this hotel to tourists and business travellers.

Location is great in relation to the harbor and restaurants. We just used carry-on luggage, so we had no problem with the 10 min walk to & from the bus station which receives passengers from both Ryan Air and main airline terminals. Location is good, under 1km from Oslo's central railway station. Metro, tram and airport bus goes near. Nice friendly staff. The room wasn't finest of them all but good. Be on time at the breakfast. Free internet cable.

Nevertheless, having three lamps broken, aircondition not working and very weak shower is not good enough for a hotel in that price range. The Hotel is very well located. the room was very nice and big enough. Breakfast was good. The only little thing I didn't like was a comment that the receptionist made by the phone when I arrived at night. He made me feel very uncomfortable. Except for that I have nothing to complain about.

Didn't expect this... But the pictures actually looked like the rooms. Heated tiles in the washroom! Hardwood floors, breakfast, LCD with some channels to watch the Ski jumps... couldn't ask for more... Oh and your almost next to the metro and one street away from the main section in the city. Really impressed.

This was my second stay at the hotel in two weeks. Several of the staff recognized me and welcomed me back, even though I had only stayed one night the first time. The rooms are small, efficiently laid out and very clean. The television contains a personal welcome message when you enter the room. The first time, I stayed in a single room and the second […] time, I was with my son and had a double. The bathroom and room were both a bit bigger and a bit nicer in the double. The location is fantastic. The shuttle from the airport lets you off across the street from the hotel and picks up right in front. You are two blocks from the main street that runs from the Palace to the Parliament and four blocks from City Hall and the waterfront. "Smaller and More Expensive than Tokyo and good"
I chose this hotel because it is at one of the stops for the SAS Flybussen and I had two large suitcases to manage. It was convenient for this and its location was good for sightseeing, etc. The single room was tiny and the price was large (even compared to Tokyo, which is supposedly first among small rooms at high prices). It also has two computers with Internet Access, a teeny little shop of its own, postcards and a bar with newspapers from all over. At night, there is free soup. My room was quite adequate, despite its small size. There is a wall-mounted television set that can also be used as an alarm clock. I had a twin bed, a desk, a chair and a bathroom. The bathroom seems typical from what I've seen of Norwegian hotels and apartments in that it has no tub and the shower floor slopes to let the water drain away. There's a button to heat the bathroom floor. The elevator made it simple to get my suitcases to the room. I requested tea for my room and after a short wait, an electric tea kettle and a small basket of tea, coffee and other supplies was delivered. The breakfast buffet is provided in the adjacent cafe and is diverse, but I wish I'd gotten there earlier in order to get an orange! The hotel shares its public bathroom with the restaurant and this was the only place in the entire hotel that I saw that didn't smell clean. The staff was quite friendly and helpful. I was able to store my luggage there all day at no charge and they were good at giving directions and recommendations. There is an electric display showing flight departure times. The hotel is at a perfect location - 70 meters from Karl Johan Street. Good value for money, good staff approach but no wifi in the rooms - if they fix that it will be ideal for solo travelers in Oslo

+Good location, 10 min walk to Oslo S station, all sights are close to the hotel. Very good breakfast (variable). The neibours are not heard. In the evening free soup to the hotel. Free Wi-Fi and two computers in the hall. - In our room in the evening the heating was switched off for 2 days. But the receptionist gave us a portable heater.

Hotel close to tram or easy to walk to main shopping street. Central Station about 15 minute walk. I was able to walk to most attractions. Bed was a little uncomfortable. Sitting chair had a stain that could've been dried sauce or blood. Bed sheet had a stain from the first night and wasn't change the 4 nights I stayed. Room was otherwise clean. I stayed for two nights in January with a friend. The best thing with this hotel is its central location. The staff is friendly and you have free Internet access at the reception. Great location. Very good value for money. The staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and extremely helpful. They told us aaboutthe Oslo Pass which they also sell and it's a must if you plan on doing any sightseeing. The food was also good- fairly basic canteen style but with 20% off as a resident it made it the best place to eat. Also they do […] free soup and bread at 9pm. It's a nice hotel but don't get your washing done there, hellishly expensive (even for Norway I think)
