Wir haben uns für das Hotel entschieden weil wir auf der Durchreise nach Kalifornien waren und um in Portland ein paar gute Biere zu trinken.Leider hat an dem Tag Petrus nicht mitgespielt und es schüttete in Strömen.So genossen wir Portland von unserem Zimmer aus mit einem wundervollen Ausblick den wir nicht vergessen werden. There is a reason this property has low rates. If price and location are the only concern, this would be a good match. But if you want comfort, stay elsewhere. Run down property, street noise and non-smoking room smelled of smoke.

The hallways and rooms smelt. The king size bed was heavily used, the center was sagging!

This hotel room that was supposevely non smoking smelled of cheap booze and cigarettes. The outdie noise was extremely loud which made it difficult to sleep. I would never stay here again!

The [erson at the desk came across rude and very uninviting, was not very welcoming and had poor customer service.,

What can I say? The front desk person was bored, tired, and uninterested. My room smelled like somebody had urinated on the walls. My shower had mildew all over it. There were dried blood stains on the linens and on the lamp shade(!!!). I'm pretty sure this place rents rooms by the hour if you know what I mean...

I lucked out with an over night stay. The Front desk allowed me to check on the room. Extreme value for the room I recieved. Parking in the evening is challenging, but understandable. Thanks much to the Inn staff.

I was never given a parking pass. Got my car towed, cost me 215.00 to get out. Crackheads and hookers on every floor. People trying to bum beer, smokes, change off you in the halls. GHETTO!! DON'T STAY HERE!!

The Inn was easy to find, affordable, close enough to walk to downtown, and the staff were really friendly. The shower was a little grungy, but other than that the room was great. Definitely most bang for your buck to walk or MAX around Portland.

The sheets were inside out-making me think they were just reversed.instead of being washed-absolutely no air flow and the towels were dirty. I very much enjoyed the convenience of the location, and the person at the desk was incredibly friendly. Non-smoking rooms were practically emanating nicotine. As we were there for Shamrock Run, didn't really feel like breathing smoke all night. They gave us a new room, but it was dirty. Fixtures (like the head board on the bed) were falling off the wall. Shower barely worked. But on the bright side, being right next to the Convention Center and a MAX […] stop is a plus. We didn't expect the lap of luxury for the price we paid for what is essentially downtown PDX, but we did expect clean and smoke free. Mehr

After reading some of the reviews, I was not sure what my husband was getting us into. We were there for 3 nights, so decided if it was not ok, we would find another hotel. Although, the hotel was not perfect, the location was. It is right next to the light rail, which will take you almost anywhere. Easy walk to Lloyd Center and several restaurants […] nearby. The hallways were in need of a good cleaning. There was a garbage bag that sat by the wastebasket in the hallway for 2 days. I did give the bed linens and mattresses an extensive check and they were very clean. They beds were comfortable. Housekeeping never did show up in our room, but we did run into housekeeping and exchanged our towels. The first night we did not have enough towels, but were given some right away. The room was clean but in desperate need of updating. For as little as we were in the room it worked out fine. We were on the opposite side of the hotel from the light rail and noise was not a problem at all. If you are on a budget, and don't care if this is not a classy hotel, this place will work. The staff was very nice and helped with questions we had. I doubt we would stay here again, only because I prefer a little nicer hotel. My husband was fine with it. Mehr

was not clean, had gross stains on the sheets, shower was dirty, room was very cold, and the people were not friendly. i didnt enjoy my time in this hotel, and will not return.

Worst hotel in the general convention center area. One of those hotels you can't wait to get out of fast enough.

Have only good things to say. Walking distance to all I needed, Nike store, theater, mall,rose garden. By walking distance I mean within 5 blocks. Also one block from the trains that will take you all over Portland. If you need the extras at the hotel like pool, breakfast, solid internet, etc this is not your place. The hotel looked like it was built in the '60s and never updated. The check-in staff was surly and totally unhelpful. We had a very noisy group in the room next door. After repeated calls to the front desk and multiple visits from security, the group just got louder. We said "forget this" and checked out at 1:30am. Moved down the street to a nice Doubletree […] hotel where we spent three very satisfied nights. The Doubletree wasn't as convenient as the IatCC was to the location which brought us to Portland in the first place, but at that point, we no longer cared. If you, or anyone you know is considering this horrible hotel, our best advice is "RUN AWAY". Mehr

We stayed at the Inn March 17-18. It was inexpensive and within walking distance to the Rose Garden so we booked. The Inn is rundown. It is seedy and felt dirty. The washroom felt gross and the mattress was horrible. . . we ended up buying sheets more out of our comfort than anything else. Even though this is a small and rather plain hotel, you are only a few steps away from the Convention Center, so it's ideal for those who don't relish dragging conference materials long distances. Parking is good, too, and free for guests. The rooms are functional and the price can't be beat. The Max transit line is across the street; it's extra convenient […] for getting around Portland but it can be a little noisy late at night or early in the morning. No restaurant on the premises but there are a few restaurants nearby. Pillows are small and uncomfortable. The WiFi was said to be updated but we were unable to use it while we were there, most likely due to the solar storms that occurred that weekend. Mehr

The best thing about this hotel is that you walk outside to find a free (to a certain extent) metro line that will take you through downtown Portland. Which is WONDERFUL. The rooms also come with free wifi, which is good. We didn't like that most of the rooms don't come with a fridge and microwave. All in al, though, the location made it worth it!

We picked this hotel off of hotels.com due to the location (close to the convention center), upon check in the attendent (very nice) did not advise me that they charge your card a hold, I had used a credit card that I put a spacific amount on for this hotel stay and it over drew my account. We got into the room and the room had "stuff" (looked like […] a food fight, I hope that is what it was atleast) on the walls, ceiling, and head boards. Pulling back the sheets there was human head hair in the sheets, but other wise it looked clean, not to mention the bathroom sink was clogged. I must say upon request it was fixed in a timely fashion. All in all it was not the best visit I have ever had, but we had no other choice due to last minute reservations. Mehr

The guy behind the desk with the dyed blond hair was very rude. Drunk and drugged up gangster types wondering the halls. The internet was worthless, slower than dial up, completely unusable. The heat took hours to warm the room. Had someone banging on my door at 4am, had to get dressed and answer the door only to find he was lost. I have had my share of staying at Hotels but this place takes the cake I was extremely disappointed holes in the walls chipped paint the floor i was on smelt like wet dog and cigarets my Allergy flared up so bad.... the Ceiling in the room was pealing off the Windows were poorly managed and they were smeared with finger prints and vary un kept the TV […] kept having snow every now and then we had to adjust the cable connection it is not an up to date TV it was a box TV I have not been in a room with a Box TV in years vary surprised you did not update your rooms or up date your beds they were so hard and felt like we were sleeping on card board boxes they had blood stains on the box spring vary embarrassing and gross.. Vary unsatisfied with the condition of your Rooms and Hotel parking log had throw up from one end of the parking space to the other I will never stay there again.. Great location, clean rooms, pet friendly, and cheap. Parking could be a hassle when convention centers are full. There is only a microwave oven in the whole building next to the front desk ( not convenient for me).

This is a great location for the Rose Garden but don't plan on getting much sleep. Beds are old and uncomfortable and the area is very, very noisy. Next to a busy intersection, cars stop and go all night. Blood on wall in bathroom was kinda gross. Stay at the Red Lion next door.

We entered our room and opened the long, floor length curtains. There was a rusty bottle cap lying there and it looked like that section of the room had not been vacummed. The overstuffed chair was stained and smelled bad. The bedspreads looked dingy. We took them off and piled them on the dirty chair. At bedtime, we were going to take a shower but […] there were pink lines in the tub that looked like mold run off. I took a kleenex to them and they wiped right off so I wonder how well the tub had been cleaned. The water was dripping fast into the tub and couldn't be turned off. We went out to grab a bite to eat and the handy man was in the elevator. We told him about the tub and he said he would take care of it right away. When we got back, there was a note from him saying the spout was too old and would be very costly to fix. He was very pleasant and did get right on it. We thought it would be a better hotel since it was right across the street from the Convention Center where we were going. this hotel was convienient for events at the rose garden...but ...and i must say if your looking for a horse and carrage to take your wife or girlfriend to this IS NOT THE PLACE stay arrosss the street at the hilton!

bathroom needed repair hole in wall... bed was uncomfortable felt like springs were broke in the bed. it was a no smoking hotel. and the first thing we smelt when we entered the room was the smell of people smoking pot...

I chose this motel because of location and in that aspect it was perfect. We could walk to the mall in about five minutes and walked to the Rose Garden in less than five minutes. The desk staff was great and very friendly. The maids were great but they wanted to clean our room at 8am when we were just getting up and getting ready for the day and then […] didn't come back later. Directly across the street from the Oregon Convention Center, and also very close to the Rose Garden, the location of this hotel can't be beat. That's almost all it has going for it. My bed was soft, clean, and cozy, but the lighting was very dim, the hallways dark and dirty, and everything is old and kind of grossed me out. But maybe I'm just getting […] snobby in my old age! The hotel was entirely sufficient since I barely spent any more time there than just to sleep. The shower had great water pressure! My room was on the 3rd floor overlooking the light rail trains (which are so convenient an easy to use - go Portland!), but were loud and made the room shake a bit (particularly if seated in a hard chair, the bed was cushy enough to absorb the vibrations). I could hear noise from the neighbors coming from the bathroom and hallway, but not while in bed (maybe because the heat and fan were on all night, making weird cranking and other noises). It wasn't the best place I've stayed, but when I waited too long to book a hotel for my event across the street at the convention center, this did just fine. There's also 2 Starbucks within a couple blocks, so the no breakfast thing wasn't a big pain. Mehr

After reading other reviews, I decided to go ahead and test this hotel out. It was a great price and the room was clean. Unfortunately, both the sink and the tub didn't drain well. It was also a bit noisy as we were on the side next to the tram rail. Parking was a bit rough especially since the main lot was so tight and crowded and during the Blazer's […] game it seemed anyone was able to park in the basement garage so we couldn't find a place to park. We asked the front desk and were able to park in the Employee lot. But the next day after returning from our activities, that lot was blocked off. The elevator seemed a little sketchy and the hallways were a bit dingy. But the room itself was cleaned to the best it could possibly be without having to re-caulk the tub and do extensive grout cleaning. Location was convenient for our group and I would probably stay here again for budget purposes and I know the rooms are clean. Mehr

The staff need to find employmrent in a place worthy of their quality. The physical plant should be razed. I've had campsites that were cleaner! The room was fairly clean, the bedding was fine, but everything from the carpet to the paint was well beyond it's life span. If non-smoking means just that I didn't smoke there then we're good, but honestly, […] the place reeked. I will not reccommend nor would I ever go back. Mehr

I learned my lesson... if somebody puts 2 stars, they are being generous. This was an OLD, run-down hotel. The alarm clock radio didn't work. There was a 3 plug adapter in the wall because they hadn't wired the place correctly. The only microwave was in the lobby. It was dark. Very limited parking. I was disappointed.

I was not at all impressed with this Hotel. The price was good. If you are looking for good deal and are not concerned with the cleanliness this may work for you. The Housekeeping was not up to my expectations. The counter in the bathroom was so dust covered that when I wiped it with a damp washcloth the washcloth was filthy. The sheets had stains and […] were put on insideout. The bed was not even made that well. To top it off House keeping knocked on our dorr at 9:00 am wanting to clean. Which I found laughable. Mehr

We were excited to stay somehwere that had that kind of tout of the Convention Center in Portland, Or. What we hadn't expected was total disappointment from the cleaniness to the overall condition of the hotel. I would not and could not recommend this hotel to even the most cost concience person. This hotel is DIRECTLY on the max train line - depending on the room side the line runs DIRECTLY by the windows and is VERY LOUD
