Rooms not detail cleaned as we found a childs toy from a previous guest underneath the ottaman in our room. Who sweeps the floor and doesnt move the ottaman? Although it was non smoking the room we stayed in smelled like smoke, the blankets were discolored from bleach or who knows what else. Overall not a good stay in the least, as we were checking […] in another couple was looking for medication that was "lost" from their room. This should have been an indication of things to come. Seriously consider staying someplace else if you are visiting Pittsburgh. Mehr

this hotel is very nice the only thing that i had a complaint it the whirlpool bath tub in our room the one side the jets were not that powerful I let the front desk know and right when I got into my room a maintance person was calling to ask about the probem really prompt service.

Spent five nights there and our only complaint: we had a non-smoking room on a floor with smoking rooms. The smoke smell infiltrated our room and the hallway to our room. I wish they would either segregate smoking rooms to their own floor or go completely smoke-free.

The hotel was convenient and everyone was very friendly.

Upon first entering this hotel it had a funny smell. We got into our non-smoking room which was right across the hall from smoking rooms and it smelled like stale cigarettes. The blankets on the bed had cigarette burn holes in them and the pillows were not normal sized but instead were small square pillows that resembled couch pillows. The bathroom […] was acceptable except for the 2 rolls of toilet paper which only had a small amount left on each one. The ceiling above the jacuzzi was the worst. There were holes in it, it was peeling, you could see mold and water damage as well. We had really been looking forward to using it, one of the reasons I booked it over the cheaper rooms was because of the jacuzzi. We spoke with the front desk but were unable to switch rooms as the hotel was all booked up. The website waaaay over exaggerated the quality of the continential breakfast as well. It consisted of prepackaged baked goods, hard boiled eggs and packets of oatmeal. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, even a homeless person. Mehr

No surprises, pleasant or unpleasant. That's why I booked and that's why I'd book again. Even with ever-worsening Pittsburgh traffic, the hotel was only a few minutes away from the 3-rivers area. The ground-floor room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff, while neither fawning nor bubbly, was quite professional enough.

Really small pillows and the A/C wasn't really up to handling the 100 degree heat we were getting while there. The owner/staff were non-existent but not troublesome either.

At check in, the two men at the front seemed confused, disorganized, and not too professional. They were courteous, and we got checked in after a brief delay. Front lobby and breakfast area was small and not very oppressive. Getting into the parking lot requires a u-turn or drive onto a shoulder area because of a median strip, very inconvenient for […] a busy highway. Our direst evening, the toilet got clogged. I called the front desk, he said there was a plunger in the bathroom, bit there wasn't. His response made me think this is a routine occurrence here. He promised to get me one right away and bring it to me. 20 minutes later, he never appeared. I went to the front tzo ask, and no one was ther--a womb employee saw me, went outside and told the guy I was there. He had forgotten about getting me the plunger, had a lame excuse about how busy ti was, but he had time to have a smoke outside and forget about a pretty important request from a guest. Not good. The room,though small, was adequate, clean, and I was pleased there was a microwave and fridge I. Good condition. Room was quiet, too. So while this was not a bad stay, I wouldn't stay there again; the location was poor, there is nothing nearby, and the service and atmosphere was poor for the price paid. Mehr

It was an okay place to crash for a night, but I wouldn't want to stay there any longer than that. Especially for the price, we could have stayed somewhere nicer and paid the same amount or less. Our AC was set to freezer when we walked in, our no smoking room had cigarette burn holes in the thin comforters, the grout in the bathroom floor tile was […] all dried and cracked (and the tiles shifted when you walked on them), the light and alarm clock were both unplugged and we had to pull out the furniture to plug them back in and set the clock. The tv wouldn't turn on with the remote....it was kind of frustrating. The whole place looked dingy. And you have to drive down a ways to get to it if you're coming from the other side of the road, because there's a small cement barrier keeping you from turning left into the hotel. Still, it was just a place to crash for the night, and at least it had something resembling breakfast in the morning. Probably wouldn't stay again though. Mehr

Good for what we paid.. Got the whirlpool room and it worked nice.. Nice size and good jets providing comfort.. Breakfast in morning was nice too.. Would stay here again.. The Drive there does kind of suck that you have the past the hotel and make u turn in turn around area b/c of the median.. Median needs to be shaved down to access hotel on 1st p […] ass.. Mehr

We enjoyed our couple of days at the Comfort Inn. Just outside of town, friendly staff, everything is close by. Great value for Pittsburgh.

The hotel and room were very nice. The beds were very comfortable with real nice comforter. The location was inconvenient because of the median in front of it. Thus we had to go past it and turn around in a parking lot to come back. Good continental breakfast included.

Room was comfortable. Whirlpool in the room was a very nice touch. Towels were not very big. The only irritation with the location was that you can't turn left out of the parking lot OR approach the entrance and turn left into the parking lot. Not very traffic friendly.
