I stayed for a conference at the hospital and realized it was at walking distance. The room was enormous. 2 tv's, a couch and a king size bed Breakfast was great. Very friendly staff.

The place was nice and clean. There was a small noise coming out of the shower head but that is the only nit picky thing I would add. Decent hotel.

This hotel is a great place to stay. It's in walking distance to a lot of places to eat and drink. They elevator need more care but overall the room and the Desk Service Jaun is wonderful.

I loved this place and the staff was incredibly helpful, I needed help zipping up my dress for a wedding I was headed to and one of the ladies at the front desk came up and helped out. I really appreciated their professionalism and willingness to help when I needed it. The room was amazingly clean and smelled like fresh clean linen.

Overall good place to stay if you want to be close to downtown.

we loved the hotel and the city. friendl staff, clean and big room. will stay here next time.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel was really clean and comfortable and the hotel attendants were extremely helpful. I was very grateful to have a computer i could use on hand with a printer and the breakfast there was delicious. Only problem i had was the toilet was running very slow at times and the AC was a bit dusty as We turned it on we would […] start sneezing. But other than that the service and location was ideal for us to got to see sequioa without having to drive ourselves. Mehr

Nice location. Close to town center and shopping district. It takes though some 45 min drive to Sequia park...

We spent a night here during the trip to Sequoia National Park. Hotels closer to the park were already full (4th of July weekend!), and Visalia was the only choice left for us.Takes about 45min to park entrance, but the road is very easy to drive. I found the hotel to be very comfortable and clean the staff was friendly and helpful. I was very pleased with the value . And was delighted with my complimentary breakfast overall it was very enjoyable

Black water/sewage backed up in our bathroom. Management could not fix problem, nor did they attempt to reconcile poor condition of our stay.

The front desk people are amazing. It's their best quality. Parking good. Breakfast good. Room a little moldy/clamy. The room we got faced the parking lot/entry to the hotel and it was noisy all night. First, an engine reving at 10pm waking us all up. Then, a 2am bass filled song echoing throughout the lot and hotel side facing the interior. Any room […] on that side of the hotel will pick up the amplified noise. If you're going to stay here, at least get a room on the outside of the building facing the street. Mehr

We were there with the whole family. The hotel was not too bad. We are not sure about the location. We think it's not really save at night. But only for one night it is fine. The pool is very small :-(

Comfortable room for young family of 5 on a recent trip to Sequoia. Continental breakfast was much better than expected. Staff was helpful and friendly. Would definately stay here again.

This Comfort Suites was old and a bit worn down, not at all what I usually expect from the Comfort Suites chain. Beds were uncomfortable, pillows were tiny half pillows, big haunching old school TV, ugly watercolor wallpaper...the list goes on. I wouldn't stay here again. Location was downtown which was nice, but that was the only thing I liked.

great location! walking distance to many restaurants

The tv's are so old & really need to get into the 21st Century. I will check out that item in the future before making a reservation and until it's corrected at this hotel I won't be returning to it.

For a local night out away from home, this property provided great location and quality. Walking access to restaurants and nightlife made for a fun night.

My stay at the Comfort Inn in Visalia was better than I had expected. The No Smoking rule pertaining to all rooms was a pleasant surprise. I didn't have to wallow in the lingering stench of cigarettes. Breakfast was another plus; it was tasty and bountiful. The room itself was a thumbs-up experience.. Two double beds, two t.v.s and free Internet access. […] I do a lot of traveling and sometimes I fall prey to some pretty sleazy accommodations, not this time. The staff was helpful, I slept like a log, and I had no worries of a cockroach crawling into my ear. Oh, and did I mention, that on Wednesday evening they served up a free buffet which included wine? Hotel was easy to find and had lots around it to eat and such. Cleanliness of the room wasn't great - dirty curtains and walls, etc. But the beds were comfortable and we loved having the little living room area off the sleeping area. Breakfast was nice, too.

Very nice hotel and room, but outside temperatures were brutal and the room had heated up correspondingly. I wish the insulation of windows and walls were better and they would use the colder night air to vent the corridors from the heat of the day. We had to run the A/C all night and I got a cold. Great location. Walk to shops and good small restaurants with lots of variety and character. Walk one block to Regal Theaters and across street from Convention Center. Free parking garage, above average breakfast, and good sized rooms for a downtown facility.

Very noisy, room just average. The breakfast included was frankly disgusting unless you wanted to make a waffle. The egglike substance was really icky as was the bacon. We went out for breakfast the second day. We had provided breakfasts at two other hotels on our trip and they were both far superior. Liked the downtown Visalia area though, lots of […] restaurants and kinda a small town feel. Mehr

My only suggestion is that a bar at the back of the bathtub be added. The one near the faucet is helpful only on entering the bath and becomes redundant.

Excellent location. Cosy and quiet hotel.

This hotel was the best hotel value we experienced in our recent National park trip to Sequoia and Yosemite! The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is the best we experieced, hands down. It included hot items each day like eggs and bacon, biscuits and gravy, along with an excellent assortment of yogurt, fruit, juices and hot waffles […] (a favorite of my teenage children). The location is good in downtown Valalia with lots of good local restaurants nearby. No pool if that's a draw. Mehr

This hotel was a great value! The rooms were large and very clean, beds were comfortable, breakfast was good with a lot of choices, and staff was friendly. It is in the downtown area and you could walk to restaurants and shopping. We stay in hotels 50 plus days a year and would recommend this one. Good hotel for the budget business traveler. Recently stayed there a couple of nights and for the price I paid it was a wise choice. Clean room and right in the middle of downtown Visalia!

Hotel was clean and service was good for what you pay for. Its central to the downtown where all dining can be found. Good business travel stay, gave me week pass to local gym. Will stay there again.

Very nice hotel, and nice size room. Very clean, and the breakfast was pretty good. Staff was very helpful with tips on traveling to Sequoia National Park.

Great stay! Staff was very nice. Room was large, with an extra seating area with couch that pulled out to a bed. Microwave, fridge & 2 TVs. It was raining, so we didn't make it down to the hottub. Brewbakers is right out the back door - yummy food & yummy beer! Breakfast had lots of choices - eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, juice, etc. More than I was […] expecting. Mehr

Hotel rooms are very spacious. THey have a nice whirlpool. Behind the hotel is a nice brewery. Breakfast is somewhat limited

I am happily surprised by the up-keeping of the hotel - everything looks pretty new and clean. Breakfast is really nice. Too bad that we didn't get to stay long enough and explore the area a bit more. But I would definitely stay in the hotel again. Highly recommend.

Everything about this room was great... it was clean, close to restaurants & sightseeing, staff was friendly.
