Desert Club Resort - Las Vegas

Waren für 3 Tage, die übrigens für Las Vegas reichen, in dieser Appartmentanlage. Hatten eine sehr komfortabel Unterkunkft mit Kochgelegenheiten. Sehr wichtig, wenn man als Deutscher in den USA lebt. Alles war sehr sauber, Damen an der Rezeption sehr freundlich. Anlage liegt in der Nähe zum Stripp. Shuttlebuse werden gestellt. Bei Problemen wird sofort […] Abhilfe geschaffen. Liegt an einer parallel Strasse zum Strip. Hat eigene WM und Tumbler. Vollausgestattete Küche vorhanden.

Our stay at this hotel was better than we imagined. It was not far from the strip. I was nervous because previous comments talked about the staff and the length of time to check in. We did not experience any of that. The staff was great, always willing to help with whatever. The hotel no longer goes to the grocery store but we had a rental so it was […] fine. There is a store on site but it cost more. I was suprised to find out when we arrived that our hotel is now a Holiday Inn. They are also building the worlds largest ferris wheel across the street. I'm sure the prices will go up now. I would most definetly stay here again! Mehr

This is one of my favourite hotels. Area OK and shuttle is a bonus. Love the fireplace and the gas 'log fire'. Weather turned cold while I was there and it was great to be able to light the fire. Rooms have more character than many hotel rooms. I would definitely stay again. Staff were helpful and friendly which is important to me.

Small rooms with over sized older furniture...in our room the floors were on a slant...the dresser draws kept opening,,the complex is old and dated. Upside it was clean and fully stocked... the employees were very nice and the shuttle came in handy instead of all that walking in Vegas.

We had a family reunion and wanted a place with plenty of room and AWAY from the strip. This resort was perfect. The rooms were spotlessly clean and so comfortable. The kitchens were well equipped. Love to stay here.Like being at home.Quiet,away from the noise smoke,and long walks through casinos to your room.Nice little kitchens to do you own breakfast in the morning ,no lines.You can park just outside your condo and hear the birds singing in the morning.Do a barbeque at night or go to the pool. The rooms are very comfortable and very clean. The large flat screen was perfect for watching the big game. The location is walking distance to the strip. The front desk staff is friendly and very helpful. They worked hard to find us an upgrade and we were very satisfied. I would recommend to anyone traveling with family.

It was good for me because I could get to the strip but I had a ggod nights sleep. I wake up early and it was great to let my husband sleep and I could read and make coffee. It was in December and the fire place was a great treat.

Great Place To Say that is off the beaten path, but close to convention center. Property is very private, security is tight, and the staff are friendly. The is a safe on property is has a great breakfast for under $10.00. Transportation there are busses to

The room was comfortable and spacious, the shuttle to the strip was timely and the drivers were all courteous. I will definitly stay again!

My stay was excellent with only two reservations. First, the wireless Internet almost never worked. When I asked for assistance to make it work I was told it was overloaded by guests who were staying there for the Consumer Electronics Show. I doubt that CES attendees check their email more than non-CES attendees but that was their story. Second, loud […] neighbors could be heard through the floors and walls but it was not a huge issue. It is a long but pleasant walk from this hotel to the LV Convention Center. My room was very nice and I would stay at the DCR again. Great value. Overall - don't hesitate to make a reservation here! A very cousy place with a fancy look abd has every thing you need in a vacation :)

Everything about this hotel is great with the exception of the condidtion of the sleeper bed and chair. Both had bad rips in tne upholstry and the sleeper mattress was torn and very used. The mattress was comfortable for a sleeper bed.

This was a great choice! I will definitely be staying here again when i visit vegas in the future. We had 5 young adults in a two bedroom VERY comfortably. Not too far from the strip and the shuttles are very convenient.

I was really impressed, very good hotel and good location. Do not hesitate to book it.

We stopped at this hotel on our way to disneyland and on our drive back home. The room was huge with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living space for 5 of us. The price was very reasonable.

I have perivously stayed at hotel when it was Summer Bay Resort and had a pleasant experience. However, my most recent stay was very disappointing. I was placed in a two bedroom unit that had rips and tears in both sofa and chairs in sitting area. I contacted the front desk (Isasic) he offer to tape the areas or place a sheet or blanket over the sofa […] and chairs. I asked him was this his only options and he explained yes. I then asked to speak with the manager and he placed me on hold for 15 minutes before hanging up. He did call me back to explain that they would be placing me in another room. However, upon arriving to this room it's sofa and chairs had the same problem just not as bad. At this point point I notice that this experience had began to effect my attitude with my family and friends. I gave them one more opportunity to correct the issue with no resolve and just tried to make the best of the situation by hosting my event at another location instead of my room due to the condition of room. This situation had a very negative impact on visit and the way the hotel staff respond to correctng the situation is total unacceptable for any business. Mehr

The resort is great!! Clean and nice.

On first glance this places looks pretty good. The room was nice, good furnishings but we were on the second floor (of three storeys) and it didn't take too long to hear the people above. Some noise is understandable but every time the people above stepped in a certain area of their floor it sounded like someone was pulling nails out of our ceiling. […] It was very loud and irritating and it didn't help when people came and went at all hours of the night. The next morning I went to the front desk to ask for a different room and was told that I could have another room but it wouldn't be as nice and I would have to pay a cleaning fee to move. REALLY??? I would have to pay to clean the room because these guys can't maintain the place. We decided to stay in the room, bought some ear plugs which sort of helped and suffered through it until the last night when there was a full on party upstairs and we had to call the front desk twice to get it to quiet down at 2:30am. We also had a problem with the lights in the bathroom. There is a button on the phone to call maintenance but no one answered and the mail box wouldn't take any more messages. So I called the operator, told the operator my problem and asked who I should talk to. She told me I had to call the front desk. So I called the front desk and the same person who answered the phone a second before answered again. Needless to say I was not impressed. This could be a great place to stay but it needs to be properly maintained. I don't want to paint all the staff with the same brush - some of them were fantastic but there was certainly a need for customer service and common sense training for a few of them - particularly the manager on duty. great place....but the music in the halls was to loud....they did turn down but it started at 8am.....felt like i was in a mall

Loved that we could escape from the hustle of the strip. We went with another family. They were in building 17 and we were in 20. Their room had been remodeled but ours was dated. Helpful staffs. Lovely spa and swimming pool! Lovely even in winter time! Perfect for group of friends or family We had great time gather together, cook and eat at resort and swim !

Our stay at the Desert Club Resort was very enjoyable. The hotel personnel were warm and friendly. The rooms were clean and nicely furnished. Check in was quick. We had no problems and would readily use this place again.

This is not a 5 star hotel, but we found it to be a great place to stay in Vegas. Rooms are a little dated, but very clean. 2 king beds with pull out coach and full kitchen. It is 1 block behind Harrahs. If you are looking for a place to relax just off the strip, I would highly recommend this place.

I loved it. Beautiful condo style hotel. A 5 Min walk to the stip...not more. Qould stay again. Room was so clean. My friend travelling with me.....checked the rooms with a black light for didrt and other things.....and there was none ! Oh...did I say he was a germafobe !

I was there with 3 friends and booked a 2 bedroom suite. We walked in there not knowing what to expect and our jaws dropped; the place was so beautiful, comfortable, clean, and it looked recently remodeled. I will stay there every time I go back to Las Vegas and my friends feel the same way.

The accomodations were adequate. We missed our HD tvs. The small bathroom had a leadky shower and the light switch and fan were one and the same which was quite annoying. Also there was one of the light sockets which was hanging on by a thread or two. Best location, one block from the Strip for the fraction of the prize of a Strip Hotel. Quiet, but within 10 minutes walking distance from the Venetian, Caesar Palace. Friendly crew. Fully equipped suits, ideal for longer staying, if you can live without fancy room service and in-house casino. We definitely will stay again there next time in Vegas.

Just stayed at Desert Club Resort with a party of 5 girls. It was an excellent choice. We were worried about being off the strip but it turned out to be just fine. The shuttles only run on the hour but it is only about a 10 minute walk to The Strip at The Flamingo. Front counter and Front Door staff were very helpful in calling cabs when necessary. […] I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again and actually it was a nice break to get away from the hustle and bustle of the strip. My only problem was the beds are really hard otherwise a great stay.

I have stayed in many hotels in Vegas and this was one of the best. It is actually suites that are part of time share. I could park a rented car close. Easy check in and parking, room was great with fireplace, radio and cd player, tv in bedroom and living room, fully stocked kitchen, pool nearby. It was great and I highly recommend this resort. We stayed a the Desert Club Resort while attending the SEMA show last week. Very nice resort, newly re-modeled and everything looked brand new. Very nice and clean. The room was like having your own apartment for a week. Full kitchen, living room, and covered parking. The weather was a little too cool to enjoy the 5 pools, but they were all in great […] shape. A little off the beaten path, but not too terrible of a walk to get to the monorail or the strip. Also the shuttles were very nice to get around on and see Vegas. I would definitely stay there again. great bang for your buck... close to strip... shuttles to strip were great... will stay again when in vegas... pools and bar/grill in complex looks promising

Overall the room was clean and had all the amenities of home including a washer and dryer. I was there on business and really don't care for the noise of the casinos so this is a perfect spot for me because it was quiet and my room overlooked one of the pools. Free shuttles provided to the Strip and Freemont St. was nice, but I would like to see shuttle […] service to the airport. Also, there is only one small grill / restaurant and store on-site so it would be nice to have more options close by, but the Strip is only a 5 min. shuttle ride. I would definitely recommend the Desert Club Resort for people who want some peace and quiet during their stay in Las Vegas. I know I will be back next year. Mehr
