Hotel liegt superzentral - alles gut zu Fuß erreichbar... Frühstück ist sehr gut - frische Brötchen, reiche Auswahl an Wurst/Käse, Obstsalat... Mein Einzelzimmer war recht klein - aber bei einer Städtetour ist man ja auch eher nicht im Hotel sondern auf Erkundung unterwegs.. WLAN funktioniert gut - kostenlos!

Das Hotel lag sehr zentral, nur 15 Min zu Fuss bis zur Altstadt. Die Zimmer waren sehr eng und stickig. Eine klimaamlage gab es nicht.Unsere zimmer lagen zu einer Nebenstrasse.Dort befand sich anscheinend der Hintereingang des Hotels, denn wir wurden ab 6 Uhr morgens von Müllabfuhr, Wäscheanlieferung, Tankwagen etc geweckt !! Nachts entsorgte das Restaurant […] Altglas !!! Das Personal an der Rezeption war etwas unaufmerksam,es dauerte immer einige Minuten, bis man wahrgenommen wurde, auch wenn kein anderer gast an der Rezeption war. Vorzügliche Lage des Hotels - ÖPNV war immer gut zu errreichen. Empfang und Zimmerservice sehr gut. Hilfestellung Rezeption sehr nett. Klimaanlage leider nur zentral steuerbar, so das im Zimmer die Fenster nachts geöffnet werden mussten, was den Seitenstrassenlärm störend machte. Frühstück ausreichend. Das Hotel war sehr sauber und die Zimmer komfortabel. Auch das Servicepersonal an der Rezeption war immer hilfsbereit und bemüht, die noch so komischsten Anfragen geduldig zu beantworten. Beim Frühstücksbuffet hätte die Auswahl vielleicht noch ein bißchen vielfältiger sein können, aber das ist nur ein kleines Minus

Gerade für Städtereisen sehr gut gelegen in der Nähe zur U Bahn Haltestelle, selbst Fussweg zum Centralterminal gut möglich und in einem der schönen Stadtviertel Stockholms. Freundlicher, kompetenter und hilfsbereiter Service. Sehr gutes Essen im angegliederten Restaurant. Das Einzelzimmer war unerwartet klein, verfügte aber über alle gängige Ausstattung […] in adequater Qualität und einem ordentlichen und sauberen Bad. Unterm Strich auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert. wir waren mit dem hotel überaus zufrieden! das einzige minus waren die kleinen zimmer (es ist wirklich jede kleinste ecke ausgenützt) und dass unser zimmerfenster auf eine kleine seitengasse zeigte, wo täglich um 5.30 die mistkübeln entleert wurden. da es aber nicht so heiß war, hatten die fenster in der nacht geschlossen und somit hörte man es nicht […] so laut. es gäbe auch größere zimmer mit blick auf den innenhof, allerdings zum dementsprechenden preis! die lage ist perfekt! sehr zentral gelegen-vom hauptbahnhof zu fuß ca 15-20min. sehr nettes personal! frühstücksbuffett (im angeschlossenen steaklokal) sehr reichhaltig! zum weiterempfehlen! Das Elite Hotel Stockholm Plaza besticht vor allem durch ein enorm schönes Gebäude in super Lage. Das ganze Viertel ist architektonisch sehr schön, sehr gut mit ÖV erschlossen und für ideal für Shopping. Diverse Sehenswürdigkeiten, wie etwa die Altstadt Stockholms mit dem Königspalast, sind auch zu Fuss gut erreichbar. Das Frühstücksbuffet im Stockholm […] Plaza ist sehr reichhaltig und von guter Qualität. Es wird im Restaurant aufgestellt, welches gediegen eingerichtet ist. Lediglich die Musik ist manchmal etwas laut und der Raum nicht immer ganz sauber. Die Zimmer sind ziemlich klein, dafür schön eingerichtet. Insbesondre die Badezimmer (mit Wanne) sind sehr hübsch. Die Fenster isolieren erstaunlich gut und halten so den Stadt- und Strassenlärm ab. Auch hier liess leider die Sauberkeit ein wenig zu wünschen übrig. Insgesamt ist das Elite Hotel Stockholm Plaza ein sehr geeignetes Hotel, wenn man in erster Linie übernachten und frühstücken will, um dann die zu Stadt erkunden. (Und noch vielmehr, wenn man sich an schmucken antiken Fassaden erfreuen kann.) Mehr

Das Hotel liegt in Nähe eines Parkes und auch der City. Die Einbettzimmer sind modern und zweckmäßig eingerichtet aber sehr klein. Das Frühstück ist gut aber nicht sehr abwechslungsreich. Ich würde das Hotel für Kurzaufenthalte weiterempfehlen.

Good hotel in a great location near Stureplan. Flexible check out rules on Sundays. Try to get the room from 4th floor and above, because of the loud banging music club which is located in the first floor (open at least in the weekends).

Hotel was good value, functional and clean. It is in a great location and with a nice bar and restaurant attached. However there is renovation work ongoing that made it noisy and somewhat inconvenient to get to my room

Overall a great Hotel, but the room was freezing cold! if the Hotel mgmt could turn the heat up it would help a lot.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. the rooms are pretty small but I new that since i´ve been staying here so many times over the years. the breakfast is nice - but I always wonder why it ´s so hard to keep the softboiled eggs warm..hmmm. I asked for a late check-out the evening before, but they didn´t seem to make a note of it, because […] the next day - when i was resting - they called me from the reception reminding me to check out in time..hmmm. they could use a little synchronization there when they change staff in the morning like : this guy is checking out late etc. over all it´s a nice hotel with a good atmosphere but it´s a bit expensive.. i think you can find more value-for-money-hotels somewhere else, but hey, then you are not staying at the Stockholm Plaza :-) Mehr

the hotel is located within walking distance from the old city and most major attractions. staff is very helpful and speaks perfect english. i am very satisfied with my stay and would recommend this hotel any time.

The single rooms are tiny but clean. The breakfast is great. And the location is perfect, in the middle of everything but at the same time no noice at all.

The hotel was ideally situated in an upmarket part of Stockholm opposite a pleasant park and within walking distance of the main touristic attractions. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the staff efficient. However, the two bedrooms we stayed in were small, noisy, stuffy and the beds moderately comfortable.

Breakfast buffet was very good, and included many selections. Best part, it was available early! Other hotels make you wait an extra hour till 8:00 and that can make you late for your appointments. The room was spacious and nice, and did get not too hot to be comfortable in the summer. And they use real soap and shampoo in the bathroom, not that soap […] dispenser stuff. The only drawback was the internet. They give you codes that are only good for a six-hour window, and the timer keeps going even after you logout. The codes are free, but as an internet junkie I found it inconvenient to keep requesting more. I think perhaps a 12-hour window would have been better. Mehr

I stayed at the Elite Stockholm Plaza for 2 nights in July 2011. I had a 'superior' room which I think is the lowest level of room they offer. The room was very small but functional, although two people would have found it a squeeze. There was a wardrobe, luggage rack, desk and chair, compact bathroom (with bath) and a bed, obviously. The hotel has […] free wi-fi by way of 3-hour vouchers available from reception. Breakfast is also included in the room rate and offers a good spread of continental and cooked food. The hotel is comprised of an old and new section, and most of the superior rooms are in the new section out the back, which directly faces onto another building. The bed was typical European style, i.e. two singles together, and included a very soft mattress topper. The bathroom facilities included toiletries but no shower caps so come prepared if you usually use one. However the main point of staying at a hotel is to sleep, and this was very difficult at the Elite on a Saturday night! This is because there is a club in the basement (not owned by the hotel) and at around 11pm the music started pumping and did not stop until 3am. My room was 3 floors above the club and I could still hear the music clearly, so I hate to think how the poor guests on lower floors found it. Sunday night, when the club was closed, was much better. So I'd recommed this type of room in this hotel for single, business travellers, but not on a Saturday night! Mehr

The hotel was really nice and located close to all main attractions and to the old city. All is within a walking distance. Also it's very quie. I am a light sleeper, so I appreciated that I could sleep with a window open and not to be disturbed by any sounds. They have a wonderful breakfast served in the next door restaurant and a sauna that I fully took advantage of. Just remember that you have to book it ahead of time to make sure that you get it. There are lots of bars and clubs nearby and the neighborhood is known as a place for young professionals to hang out in. All in all, it was a great hotel to stay in. Highly recommend! Mehr

This hotel is located on a lovely street! It is in a walking distance to major historic attractions and nice restaurants. The room was small ( regular size for the European standards), but nicely furnished and very clean. Relatively large bathroom was also clean and nice. Breakfast buffet was delicious!!!

This is a nice hotel if you don't mind paying the price (is a bit too high). The only off set is the breakfast is included. The room is a typical of European Hotel, very small. The staff is helpful and friendly. The location is convenient. There's a nice park across the street which is a little break when staying in the city.

Rooms: Inacceptable. Extremely tiny. Hardly a chance to relax there. Not seen such a tiny room in years (I spend 40-75 nights in hotels per year). Bed very uncomfortable (very soft, hanging through in both rooms). Dirty: At arrival there were human excrements at toilet seat. Sink didn´t flow. Loud: Renovation works going on without telling. Woken […] up in the morning by two drills just below me. Impossible to stay in the room. Staff: Unpolite, snobby. After having to change room 2 times, reception lady still unpolite, excusing herself with "It is not my fault. My colleagues didn´t tell you. I can´t do anything about it." All this with a smile in her face. Only after 2-3 days the manager - only reasonable person there - stepped in and excused herself and gave an appropriate room. Breakfast: Extremely loud music. They can´t change topic and volume of the music that goes on at night there. Can´t concentrate on read a paper in tranquility. Never seen something that bad. Even after telling them, they excuse themselves and in the end they turn music down. Conclusion: I really can´t recommend this hotel. Don´t think that is a normal standard in Sweden. Mehr

Overall the hotel was good. A few minor issues that could be improved. Room size for standard category could have been bigger. Internet access at recepeption too small, you did not even have room for a bag inside. Breakfast although pretty good did not include bacon.

I was attending a weddin inStockholm, and the other relatives stayed at a hotel near the train station. Everyone said they wished they had stayed at the Elite. Breckfast was stupendus

The hotel is very conveniently located and in a very happening area. Breakfast is great!

Room small but adequate. Bathroom old but clean. Good breakfast. 200m to T Station. 5-10 min walk to water front. Within walking distance of many attractions and very near to many shops.

This was advertised as close to the central train station. This was NOT the case as it was an approximate $25 cab fare! It was also the smallest room we have experienced in 10 trips to Europe.

The location was excellent as it was walking distance to Royal Palace and Museums, as well as close to subway and bus stops. Their breakfast is great, an all you can eat with eggs, fresh yogort, brie cheese, smoked salmon, toast, cereal, fresh juices, coffee, tea, etc. The only complaint is mainly the bed is small and I guess they do not use conventional […] bed sheets like the US, just a padded combo bed sheet that is insulated? Also I would recommend rooms above the 2nd floor as there is a next door night club with loud music that can carry for light sleepers up to the 2nd floor or so up to early am. Mehr

Elite Hotels chain is a chain you can trust in Sweden, this one was very central had a nice view. the room was comfortable and clean; can't complain about anything really.

This is a great hotel to stay in if you are looking for a location close to everything and have a lot of money. Just 10 mintues walk from Gamla Stan and 5 minutes from the Underground. Breakfast is a feast and the smoked salmon is to die for. Room was clean but postage stamp sized. We were shocked that despite the high cost of this room, we were […] not able to make ourselves a cup of tea or coffee. Mehr
