In diesem Hotel waren alle sehr freundlich. Man muß bedenken, daß in dieser Gegend wahrscheinlich noch nie ein Deutscher abgestiegen ist. Dennoch werde ich falls wieder, das Hotel buchen. Sehr angenehm. Danke - Preis Leistung ist Ok.

This hotel was really nice for the price. I felt at home and the staff was very friendly. It was a 10 minute drive from the casinos and right off a major highway. The breakfast was good and I have no complains.

VERY NOISY PEOPLE COMING IN AT ALL HOURS FROM NEARBY CASINOS

Room was clean and beds were comfy. Indoor pool open til midnight. Free internet.

Nice hotel in and out, great swimming area, great rooms. Don't know what some ppl are talking about the beds were pretty comfortable. Overall great experience would definitely book a room again

The hotel was loaded with very friendly people, and the staff was exceptionally nice

Our room was extremely clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. The breakfast, however left something to be desired. The waffle machine was obviously broken as everyone was getting raw waffles even after doubling the cooking time. We were disappointed. Hopefully it will be replaced by the time of our next stay!

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Contnental breakfast was adequate and fresh.

Very convenient hotel to Foxwoods for a 2 night stay. Less than 10 miles away. The hotel has a rustic look to it. The rooms were clean but the beds left a lot to be desired. Pretty surprised that the room had an actual flat screen TV with free HBO. I also choose this hotel because it included free breakfast (contintental) but also included waffles which […] was a nice touch. Hotel also includes a free shuttle to the casinos but only on the weekends. Mehr

For a fair price, you get a very clean room. Bathroom was very clean, as well. Complimentary breakfast was super. Very close to area casinos. I have to commend the entire staff who did what they could for their guests after Hurricane Irene rolled through. Power was out in a 50 sq. mile vicinity, yet they did all they could to help us through it. Kudos! […] My ONLY complaint...the computer in their lobby was slow as molasses...if that's the biggest complaint, they're doin' fine. My wife and I would definately return for another stay! Mehr

Clean, quiet, continental breakfast, shuttle to and from the casino....great price on the rooms too. Definately staying there again.

Very nice hotel for the price. Very clean. Very nice area with easy access off of the freeway. Breakfast was very good and had a large variety. Staff was exceptionally friendly. Hotel was ok, nothing fancy but was very clean and the staff was nice...lobby was real cute. Only complaint would be the bed wasn't all that comfortable but for the price and for 1 or 2 nites, it'll due! Would stay there again.

What a great hotel staff was excellent hotel and grounds were very clean will definetly use this hotel again on trips to moheghan or foxwoods.

We checked into the Americinn Griswold late in the evening after a long flight and drive, and so were sensitive to any flaws or disappointments. Thankfully the hotel provides a warm welcome, with cookies at the check in desk and a mix of classy homeliness. It's certainly a high grade above a motel, and provides very comfortable spacious rooms at a bargain […] rate. The location is very convenient for travellers needing a stop between New York and northern cities, just off the freeway, and is gloriously peaceful and in a beautiful quiet leafy road. Breakfast is great. Don't be mislead by the continental breakfast description, there is far more than just cereal on offer. We came down to cereals, donuts, muffins, pastries, bagels juices, fresh fruits, a range of coffees and a waffle making station. More than we could eat and all delicious. Overall a bargain hotel that provides everything you could want at just a touch above the standard class. Mehr

Everything was great, clean,friendly frontdesk, free continental breakfast was one of the best we ever had,very cozy lobby everthing was just very very nice and its close to both casinos.

Picked this hotel at the last minute when my daughter and I decided to visit the casinos. It was a bit out of the way, but it was comfortable enough. Check-out is 11 which is fine but breakfast is only served til 9 which is about 1 hour too early for me. All in all, an adequate stay.

Went to Foxwoods to see a show, and didn't want to pay the hotel rates at Foxwoods... The room was nice and clean. Perfect for what we needed.... The continental breakfast is nice too!! You get to make your own waffle...

Stayed here one night to go to show at Foxwoods, very nice place, nice continental breakfast, especially the make your own waffles. Would stay again.
