Binion's Gambling Hall and Hotel - Las Vegas 36.17102, -115.14466

Gutes Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Sehr freundliches Personal. Wir hatten Glück und wurden kostenlos in eine Suite geupgradet, die war natürlich superklasse. Kein Frühstück inklusive aber das ist in Vegas normal.

Das Hotel ist im alten Teil von Las Vegas mitten in der Freemont Street, die man nicht unbedingt gesehen haben muss. Es ist sehr laut und nicht in Laufnähe zu dem neuen Las Vegas also dem Strip. Dafür ist hier alles viel preiswerter inklusive Essen und Trinken.

We rented a non-smoking room, however upon arrival we were given a smoking room. Upon entering the room, we realized this was a smoking room and the room look as if it had not been cleaned fully. The next thing that happened, was a stranger entered our room without knocking and stole our pillows. He said "you don't mind do you?" We were in quite a bit of shock at this point and went down to request a new room. New room on 22nd floor was quiet and much improved from room on 16th floor. All in all, Binion's is a nice hotel for the price, however we ran into some parking issues, i.e. they block off parking for guests after midnight which leaves you wondering where in the world are you supposed to park. Penny slots were excellent- the ones by the elevator!!

The hotel wasn't too far from the strip, and was also in an area where there were things to do as well. The beds were a little hard for me. The lighting wasn't the best, but for the last minute and the price I really can't complain. If they had a shuttle to the strip that would have been great to save on the cab or bus fare just FYI.

I love the Downtown area of Las Vegas and the revitilaztion program the Mayor of Las Vegas and the Owners of each property have invested in making it a succesful tourist location. for those familiar with freemont street know exactly what I mean. The owners of Binions are taking the rights steps to improve this old style Las Vegas Hotel/Casino. I stood in Vegas just for the night on a getaway trip to gamble for the night and knew I wanted to stay downtown. The bed wasnt as comfortable as back home but of course you cant compare home to any hotel in the world. I wouldnt say the room was out of date, since it is an older hotel I think it fit the downtown las vegas and the old school mentality of the once "mob" ran properties. The bathroom needed minor repairs, the toilet wouldnt flush properly and the tub needed to be replaced. I would stay at Binions again next time I visit Vegas for the night which will be soon. Its a great place! and the casino is small enough to feel relaxed and comfortable

We had a very nice stay. Hotel was clean, room very comfortable. The staff very friendly. They even offered us a free picture of us taken with one million dollar !! The kids enjoyed the nice halloween scene. Will definitely come back and recommend this hotel

The room was ok. It was warm (the a/c wasn't all that great). It is a good hotel incase you want to stay near the freemont street experience. It's down townish of Las Vegas so it's going to look like your in the ghetto but it's "down town". I was ok with the room.

I would recommend this hotel, Large rooms, clean and the staff was great. I will stay there again!!

I read some of the other reviews after booking my flight and I was kind of apprehensive about staying there. I'm happy to report my stay was nothing like some of the other reviews. Yes their curtains and comforters are out of date, but the room was clean! The staff was pleasant and helpful. I'd stay there again.

The hotel was beautiful and the employees there were very helpful to anything you want to know about. The room prices were very reasonable, although you must realize that this is "ol town" vegas, you will notice the rooms have been there a while, but they are comfortable, I felt secure, and found my way around to the beautiful casino rooms and eatery's very easily. I loved the view!!!

I knew this was an older hotel, but decided to stay at Binion's since I was meeting others there, and was going to be staying in downtown Vegas. At my 3pm check-in, I was told that no rooms were available and to come back in 30 minutes. I came back to the counter at 3:20, and waited in line for over 30 minutes. There was 1 person working the check-in desk (and check-out, and phones, 1 person period). When I finally arrived at the desk, I questioned her about why they would have only 1 person working. She stated that the day prior she was at the desk for 5 1/2 hours straight without getting up to get a drink of water or use the bathroom. When I went up to my room, it wasn't even done! I immediately called down to the hotel operator and it rang 67 times before I hung up. Then I called the front desk, ringing 50 more times before the hotel operator picked up, transferred me back to the desk, which rang 10 times and then she answered. She offered to switch me to a new room. While I was trying to reach the front desk/hotel operator, the housekeeping crew came to the room, so I told the front desk not to worry about switching rooms, since who knew whether that one was ready anyway. As I was on the phone, housekeeping attempted to put the SAME blankets and bedspreads back on the beds. I told them NO! She said they just changed them the other day.. YUCK!! I know it's common to keep the bedspreads on the beds, but the blanket? Come on! I can say after they finished cleaning my room, I probably had the cleanest room in Vegas! They spent a total of 40 minutes cleaning up my room, because I kept pointing out areas they missed and made sure they actually cleaned things!! The worst part about this entire experience, when I asked the front desk for the manager, they told me the General Manager "Marcus" is off on the weekends. I asked for the manager on duty, she told me there ISN'T one! Well, with this information, it's NO WONDER that there were problems! I'm going to be fol

The location is outstanding! The rooms are in need of repair/remodel but still comfortable. The staff was the friendliest we encountered in the freemont area.

IT is a good deal for the money but, I was up till about 430am 'typical vegas' only to be awaken by a phn call from front desk stating that there was a leak coming from my bath rooom to the room below and engineering would be up shortly to check the problem. They CUT a hole into the wall only to find it was not coming from our room. Then RETURNED to check if he left any tools behind...THEN sent housekeeping to clean the dust all within 1/2 hour. I JUST WANTED TO SLEEP WITH NO SAWS OR FRONT DESK PHN CALLS OR HOUSEKEEPING WAKING ME EVERY 10 MINUTES!!!> I was more upset that I wasnt offered a Meal or Drink or free play for the inconvienience. It is OLD and and needs a touchup BAD> but if you wanna stay cheap you get what you pay for.

I ARRIVED AT NIGHT I STAYED 2NIGHTS NOT THE 3 DAYS,I CANCELLED THE LAST DAY AND BOOK AT BUFFELO BILLS AT PRIMM VALLEY. THE BINIONS WAS BAD I WOULD NOT RECOMEND THIS HOTEL NOT EVEN FOR FREE,THEY CHARGE ME ADDIONAL $50 FOR EACH ROOM I REALLY HATED THE HOTEL.THEY GAVE ME THE GHOST PART OF THE OLD PART OF THE HOTEL THE BELL HOP SAID HE DID NOT KNOW THIS PART OF THE HOTEL EXISTED.I WENT BACK TO THE FRONT DESK.I LEFT MY DAUGHTER IN THE OLD ROOM. SHE SCREAMED AND ASK ME TO PLEASE GET HER OUT OF THIS ROOM SOMETHING TOUCH HER.THE BELL HOP SENT US TO THE WRONG PART OF THE HOTEL.THEY CHANGE.

Be prepared the fire alarm sounded at 7 am & 8 am both false alarms. Handicap elevators in garage were VERY slow. The room was not very cool even when air turn up as much as possible.

The room was very clean and the staff was very kind.

I was attending an event at this hotel/casino so it was the perfect location. I would not have stayed here otherwise and would not have stayed here with my wife who would not have found it acceptable. Rundown with various maintenance issues that you would not find in a first class property (window curtains that were difficult to close completely, missing tiles in the bathroom, stains). But for the money and the location for this trip, could not be beat.

This was my second stay at Binion’s and it will probably be my last. Overall, the hotel was comfortable. The shower head was broken and only provided a half of the pressure I would expect. Also, the Fremont Street Experience show woke me in the middle of the night from its music. The beds did not help my sleeping either. It is a good deal for the price. However, I would recommend spending a little more and upgrading.

WATCH OUT FOR THE FOOD AND BEVERAGE MANAGER THEY WILL STEAL YOUR COMP DOLLARS,IF YOU LET THEM!

Great location, friendly staff and very clean. We weren't in our room much so it was perfect, if you were to go to bed early it may be a little noisy as you are right on Fremont Street but that's what I liked about it. The roof top pool is cool too.

Binions is cost efficient and centrally located for Fremont Street. The service personnel are friendly and helpful.

When we first arrived we asked at the front desk for help with our bags and the gentleman there said the bellboys were gone and needed to ask the valets. We asked the valets they said they couldn't help us we needed to ask the front desk. So we went back and a different gentleman this time, TJ,said sure i'll help you. First impression sucked so far. The room is what you'd expect for an old hotel downtown. It was clean and comfortable.Food in the snack bar area was great! But most food in vegas is. Other than the first day my mom and I loved the hotel. all the other employees were helpful the maid service was great. For the price it way exceeded our expectations. We will defently stay there again.

The only real criticism we had was that our room was located very near a band that played late at night. The music was good but it was difficult to sleep. The ice machine was also out of service a lot of the time. Considering the price we paid (very reasonable), we would certainly consider staying there again. We enjoyed gambling there and prefer staying and gambling downtown rather than the strip.

I got the rooms in the 20th floor and the view was spectacular. I could hear the live band playing in the fremont. It was a very different kind of experience. People from the reception were exceptionally good, esp Dan, who provided me two wonderful rooms for my family.

Outstanding hotel and staff and everything around was outstanding

Garage only had 1 door to hotel and elevator didn't work while there till the last day.

Great room with a great price, the balcony had a great view as well.

Starting at 3:30am, the loud fire alarm went off as a false alarm, then continued to go off every hour or so, if I had a heart condition, I would be in trouble! The hotel manager wasnt available, but days later I spoke with him over the phone, he agreed to give me a free night, but it never came in the mail as he said it would. No sleep, no positive coments here!

We made this reservation at the last minute and for 17 dollars we didn't expect much. It was clean and the location was great.

This hotel was totally not what I expected. I know Las vegas isn't about what your hotel looks like afterall, all you do is sleep in it. Well even then there were stains i'm assuming vomit all over the carpet, there was a broken ac unit leaking with a bucket catching the water and the only view outside of our room was dirt and GARBAGE! we didn't have to see tall buildings or all of las vegas but for goodness sakes clean the trash!! It is also very difficult to find where check in is located, we walked in assuming it would be across the street from the parking garage but it was way on the other end so we had to walk in with all our luggage through the entire casino! It was an overall bad experience, I would never stay here again and now I'm aware why the only picture of the hotel was only the neon lit sign above the hotel! I don't mean to totally bash on the hotel, but it was bad. I also stayed at the Imperial Palace for half the price of this hotel and omg it was amazing there!

Two consecutive nights brown water dripped from bathroom ceiling (ie room above) this was not hygenic and unpredictable so I changed rooms. First room tv was medium size and older but not bad - second room had tiny and surprisingly old tv. Aircon in rooms was good. Nice to have rooftop swimming pool. Hotel is in a great location and has good parking. Rooms are basic and just hope you don't get a problematic room.

It was what I expected and convenient for the event I was attending. But the property is definitely showing its age. Missing tiles in the bathroom, uncomfortable beds, curtains that take lots of work to get fully closed. Housekeeping was spotty with a trip to the front desk needed to replenish bathroom supplies that were missed during the daily cleaning. Also the fire alarm went off at one point and following the usual "we are investigating" announcement, nothing. Finally, needing to leave and with the elevators shut down, I walked down 20 flights. No wi-fi although at least on the high floor I was on, you could pick up pay wi-fi services from other nearby properties. I'd stay here again by myself but would not bring family here.

If you like downtown, this is right in the heart. Your room is a quick walk to the poker room and all the casino. Restaurants and other conveiences abound. Considering the price, the best value in Vegas. You shouldnt be spending much time in your room anyway!

What can I say, Binion's is Binion's is Binion's. If you are looking for a cheap sleep downtown with a great location mid-Freemont, it is impossible to beat. Did the AC in my room only quasi-work? Sure. Did the room only get made up 5 out of 8 days of my stay? Foreget about it. If you can tolerate that the place is what it is, it is an excellent choice.
