The Good: the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They suggested a nice restaurant for dinner and fun things to do in the area. The pool was very well taken care of and the water was perfect. The Bad: a sign by the pool said "only 5 people at a time". That's interesting. Parking is $10 bucks... where the hotel across the street is free (Hampton […] Inn). The Ugly: the beds were very uncomfortable. The traffic was very loud and it was hard to sleep. We found hair all over the towels, which is just gross. Overall: it was okay. For the price, I will not be staying again. I could have done a lot better. Mehr

My only complaint is that the exterior sign is not prominent enough when driving at night, looking for the hotel for the first time. Otherwise, great staff, great service, very nice and clean

Our experience was pretty good. Close to dining and events. Everyting was in walking distance. The room accomodations were very good and the customer service was excellent. We would stay there again in a heartbeat! Thanks

Not impressed by small pool, never seen 5 person max in a pool at one time requirement. Rooms very average. Towels in bathroom felt like sandpaper, no softner in laundry?? No bar or restraunt. $9.00 parking fee , steep !!!

The hotel was very clean and comfortable, but a little difficult to find. It is attached to a Springhill Suites. Also- we asked for a "downtown" location. It IS in the downtown area- the downtown MEDICAL district. Located by Jewish Hospital and various doctors offices. Will stay in another location our next visit.

The hotel room was clean and really nice. The breakfast might be the best breakfast of any hotel I have ever stayed at. My only complaint was that after I had paid over the phone I was informed that on top of the price for the room did not include parking. I would have to pay an additional $10 fee for parking once I got to the hotel. That's fine I guess, […] I just wish I had been told that before I had paid for the room. Once I got to the hotel I was told it would be $10 for parking, but once I got home I was found from my online banking that it was actually $20 for parking. The parking garage was actually so small that once I got to the hotel it took me 15-20 minutes to find a parking spot. Once I got to the top of the parking garage I also found that there was no area to turn around. I also had to swipe my card to get into the parking structure and again 2 additional times once I was in the parking structure to go the next area. The temporary parking to check into the hotel was also horrible. There were no open spots and it was extremely confusing. The hotel is also next door to a pawn shop, the area was so-so but the room was clean and the staff was nice. I was just upset that the parking was twice what I was quoted. Mehr

the location of this hotel was great! It was close to 4th street, which offers a decent variety of bars and others places for a little bit of fun. Plus taxi cabs are always around the area if you choose to head a little bit out of the way. Fyi, if you are looking for adult entertainment, check out the PTs as it was 5 minutes walking distance from our […] hotel. The only thing that was negative was the 9 dollar fee for parking. Weird it was not free for even guests. Mehr

This hotel is in a great location for our dropping our daughter off at UofL. We stayed the night before move in. It is located not far from most activities. The breakfast was a bonus.

The hotel itself was excellent but the housekeeping staff woke us at 8:30 and 10am respectively although we had the do not disturb sign on the door. We could also hear her going up and down the hallway knocking on doors and announcing "housekeeping". That was very annoying. While I would tell others the hotel was beautiful and convenient if you're attending […] downtown activities, I would warn them about housekeeping. Also, I know other hotels do it but we weren't told anything about a $9 parking fee until we checked in. If it was on the website, I didn't see it. Mehr

The girl working the front desk was beyond helpful in familiarizing us with the city and gave us the name of an awesome pizza place nearby (Bearno's). It was within easy walking distance of the downtown and the baseball stadium. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Especially for the price, it was an incredible hotel. Very close to convention center, which is what I wanted, but I had to pass a XXX movie emporium/porn-wear shop to get to convention center. Kinda scary, but no one ever bothered me.

We stayed two nights and we were very comfortable. Liked being downtown and convenient to the attractions we wanted to see. Though small he loved the pool and the breakfast was very good. Would recommend this to anyone - business or leisure travel.

There was an unauthorized charge to my credit card when I looked at my statement uppon returning home. They didnt call me before or after they charged my card, just charged it and basically told me i didnt have any options to fight it! Very unprofessional! Will not recommend this hotel to anyone else, ever.!

We have stayed at the Farfield Inns and Suites before and we loved it each time.The rooms are clean and roomy. The only problem that wehave run into is, there is not enough parking on site. I would still recommend the hotel.

This hotel is very well located and close to the major sights of Louisville. It was clean, modern-looking, included breakfast and the price was great.

This was a very nice hotel. Very convenient to our conference that was based out of another hotel. My only complaints would be that it cost $9 to park a day (and we were not notified of this upon making our reservation) & the "free" internet was very spotty.

Great location. Everything you need in Downtown Louisville is walking distance. Clean rooms and friendly employees.

The hotel stay was one to speak of and definitely a story to tell the friends and family when I got home. Hotel was very efficient and clean, very quick service. Only complaint I have, well two complaints, was that the entire hotel was woken up at around 4am by the sound of a fire alarm. Apparently some drunk fella pulled the fire alarm. Though I recognize […] that this is not the hotel's fault, I would have expected an offer to discount the price of the stay for the one night. I spent the next day constantly more tired than I would have wished when I needed to drive 2 hours back home. My other complaint would be that the waffle mix dispenser wasn't operational, so few people had a hot breakfast in the morning. This is a minor issue though. Mehr

Very Clean, very quiet (no city noise on 3rd floor) and no signs of a bad neighborhood (and we walked over downtown Saturday). Only a few complaints. 1) When reserving the room I asked for a refrigerator, but upon confirming I found out there wasn't one. On check-in, the front desk quickly said they would have one brought to our room. They did and the […] grumpy maintenance guy hooked it up before we had a chance to unpack. 2) The parking was extra and twice the price of other downtown lots. 3) The hotel was 0.5-1.0 miles walking distance of everything. Walking in cold or rain made this too far. My girlfriend in heels or boots also had some pain. 4) The parking garage elevator does not go to the 3rd floor so we had to walk to the main lobby elevators. Despite these minor drawbacks, I like the hotel, but would probably try one more at the center of where we want to go. Mehr

Free internet and breakfast are a big plus to me. Location is good... though didn't always feel safe walking around downtown. Random men around and following. Kinda Creepy. The staff was super helpful and friendly. They even let me keep the van at the hotel a few hours after checkout with no additional charges.

A couple blocks from the convention center, I enjoyed the stay!

We enjoyed newly redesigned interiors in modernist cheerful aesthetic appeal and most importantly, everything was super clean! Location was right next to the convention center. Also, we were told that parking was included when we checked in, at the check out we received a bill for parking (9,- per day) and when we complained it was immediately corrected […] to our favor. The hotel was well kept up and very clean. We enjoyed all of the staff. They were very friendly and helpful. It was a very reasonable price for such a nice hotel in a great location!

Great location and staff! Close to downtown and within walking distance of most of dowtown Louisville attractions!!

the hotel was very clean the staff was very nice and helpfull to us, the breakfast was alot better than expected overall stay was very nice

We picked this hotel because we had stayed here two years back when our daughter got married. Everything was outstanding form checkin to checkout. We had no problems with either of our stays. The hotel personnal were very pleasant, they greeted us everytime we passed there way.

Located near the restaurants and bars of 4th St Live, the Fairfield Inn is a clean, boutique-looking hotel. We had an excellent stay. The staff was helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Louisville.
