Zentral gelegenes Hotel, trotzdem ruhig. Zimmer mit Doppelbett gehen zu einem tristen Hinterhof hinaus, sind klein, ebenso das Bad. Diese Zimmer sind eher als Einzelzimmer verwendbar. Ausstattung ok, Minibar, Flatscreen-TV, Safe. Bad mit Wanne, Bidet, WC, Waschbecken Spa und Restaurant sind ausgegliedert, gerhören offenbar nicht direkt zum Hotel. Spa […] kostenpflichtig Frühstück ausreichend für spanische Verhältnisse In der Umgebung viele kleine Kneipen, Geschäfte, Restaurants. Staff was extremely accommodating! Breakfast was great, a major plus in my book. Would definitely liked to have stayed longer.

Fantastic Location for a one night stay in Bilbao--near just about everything you would want to see. But the Spaniards like to party, and there will be hundreds of people outside of the hotel making noise at 4am. Maybe this is not so much a problem if your room is not on the ground floor. Spa was not as accessible as I had hoped--you have to make a […] reservation just to use the whirlpool and sauna. But straight shot into the old city, Cafe Iruna on the other side of the park, right near the Guggenheim and Metro. Can't beat it! Mehr

Excellent hotel. We were very happy with the location and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The reception staff went over and above the expected level of service and were very generous with their time. I also asked the chamber maid to assist me with opening a window and she was extremely helpful and friendly. Lots of nice bars/restaurants […] nearby, also an easy walk to the Guggenheim, and bikes are available to rent in the hotel allowing for easy access to the nearby shopping centre. I would stay here again if I returned to Bilbao. Mehr

Pros: Great Location between centre and Guggenheim Clean Cons: Run-down and dated. Better value for money deals to be had. Try Hotel Abando which is just a stones throw away.

Though a little difficult to find and to access the garage, its location near the river and only 10 minutes walk to the Guggenheim makes it a good choice for tourists. Good buffet breakfast and free internet.

Fantastic, well located close to all the major sights. Open through the night, Close to some hang outs (bars and clubs) as well so can get a bit noisy through the night sometimes, but this was the case only on Saturday night.

Nice location and nice amenities. The only problem is that the local can be quite rowdy at night and noise carry through the night.

Hotel has good location, 10 mins walk from Guggen heim and the centre of town. Breakfast is 15 euro but you can get a coffee and a paptry locally for 3 euro. The restaurnt is good but very expensive. Rooms are big and clean. Overall it is good value for money.

We arrived close shortly after 7pm and were delighted to be able to park our car in the underground car park, although at an additional daily charge. Be careful negotiating the narrow tunnel down to the -3rd level as you need to drive very slowly. The person at reception was sullen but helpful. Perhaps that's the Bilbaon way? Our room was on the 7th […] floor and was very clean and presentable. Interestingly, reception which seems to be on the ground floor is in fact deemed to be on the third floor. The location of the hotel was great and is only 10 minutes walk from the Guggenheim Museum. A very pleasant one night stop. Mehr

i emailed hotel prior to my arrival and asked for quiet room. hotel appreared to be empty but i still got roomwith some preson right next to me who kept dlamming room door all nigh long. i dont think it is 4 star hotel. i also left my tour book there, when i calked and ask to ship it to me to granada using reglar post service they refused. they don't […] really speak much english at a hotel. Indeed excellent. The only minor remark would be that breakfast on sunday was overrun by a big group and the hotel had a hard time keeping up.

Excellent hotel located very centrally in Bilbao. It is close to shopping area and just across the bridge from the old town with its narrow streets. It is also only a few minutes walk from the train station so ideal for onward travel. Will stay there again

Great hotel close to the new area of the city. 10 mins from Guggenheim and old town. Only issue was finding hotel from the map provided. Bilbao is in the process of changing road signs to Basque which makes it very hard to navigate.

staff were very friendly and accomondating. Perfect hotel for a short break so close to the main shopping district. Good clean accomondation with a bonus phone in the toilet if needed!

Extremely professional and courteous staff. I stayed at this hotel for a week and enjoyed my stay. Will visit back at this location on future trips.

It's convenient to everything. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Plenty of restaurants nearby and an easy walk to the train, the old town and the Guggenheim. If you don't want to walk assorted modes of transportation with a few blocks.

Standard business hotel with cheap rates for travellers at the weekend. Great location for Gugenheim and the Old Town (and the fantastic Cafe Iruna).

We shoud have been on a flight back from Malaga when the volcanic ash caused the disruption. Our journey & hotel stays were therefore unexpected and the Bilbao trip was part of the 7 days it took us to get home to England. We booked on line whilst on bus from Barcelona. Very easy. Arrived late 11.30pm and we were expected; staff helpful & room spacious […] and comfortable. Good (free) internet facilites at hotel, which was essential as we were trying to book to get home; Hotel situated in central position to explore town. Would recommend Hotels.com & this hotel. Mehr

Mycket trevlig. Fanns bara en sak att anmärka på.Frukostäggen var tyvärr inte kokta 5 minuter utan sannolikt närmare 5 timmar. Hände flera dagar.Vi kunde givetvis sagt till men det är trots allt bara en bagatell......

Très bien situé, bon accueil, état correct, le spa était fermé pour le Week end du nouvel an...Dommage. Sinon bon à tous niveaux.

lo mejor del hotel es la situación, cerca de la estación del tren, en el centro, i cerca también del museo Guggenheim.

Recomiendo este hotel para quien quiera pasar un par de dias en Bilbao. Esta cerca de los lugares de interes, del casco viejo y de la Ria. Las instalaciones, limpieza y mantenimiento del hotel estan bastante bien aunque el personal de recepción es un poco arisco. Tenia muy buena pinta el spa pero era caro.

Es un hotel donde destaca lo bien situado que está. A 10 minutos andando del Gugemheim y del Casco Viejo del Bilbao, y junto a los paseos que circundan la ría. Para ir de pinchos, bien el en casco viejo o en los alrededores de los jardines de Albia, hay muchos bares. Eso si, el domingo a las 10 de la noche, incluso en verano, está casi todo cerrado […] en esa zona. Un hotel normalito, sin lujos para sus 4 estrellas, de las que le quitaría una. Las habitaciones dan hacia otra calle con edificios de oficina enfrente. Tiene parking propio, al que se accede por la parte de atrás, siendo un poco lioso llegar la primera vez. Ya en el interior, tiene unas rampas un poco complicadas si llevas coche largo. Sobre el desayuno no puedo opinar, ya que cogimos sólo alojamiento, pues los precios del hotel son muy caros, cuando en los alrededores puedes desayunar por 3-4 euros un café con una tostada (o croassant o pincho) Resumiendo un hotel excelentemente situado para visitar Bilbao y que está bien de precio , para lo que hay en Bilbao, aunque con una estrella de más. Base inmejorable para callejear Bilbao. Está cerca de casi todo los lugares a visitar o a los puntos de salida de transporte público para llegar a ellos.
