The Main building looks very nice, but our hotelroom was in an adjacent building, connected to the main building. The entrance to that building was terrible, no main entrance door, uncovered concrete floors in the corridors, did feel as a little bit unsave. Rooms are big an equipped with 2 queensize beds, No elevator available. Can advice this hotel […] but ask for a room in the mainbuilding and on the groundfloor. Mehr

Wir fanden das Motel super! Preis- Leistungsverhältnis war unschlagbar! Poolanlage ein Traum, sehr sauber. Zimmer war o.k. Personal sehr freundlich! Würden jederzeit wieder buchen!

Das Rosedale ist ein älteres Hotel und das sieht man auch. Es wirkt ein bisschen verbraucht. Die Zimmer sind zweckmässg und genügend gross. Der Pool ist gross und es hat auch Tische. Auch im Frühstücksraum hat es genügend Platz und das Frühstück ist o.k.

Front desk was rude and unhelpful. I was working in town and tried to do an early check in for my husband and was turned away, its hotel policy. We were told hotel was at 100% occupancy but the parking lot was completely empty. While I was working, my husband had to wait four hours in the hotel lobby watching other guests being checked in until I was […] off work. When we voiced our opinion about how it was very inconvenient that my husband had to wait all day in their lobby we were offered nothing. We asked for a late check out and give an extra hour, its hotel policy. Their hotel policy needs to change. The hotel was in a great location, clean and well maintained but the front desk staff was horrible. Mehr

I love the Hotel Rosedale. The grounds are beautiful, the location is quiet but right next to the Hwy. 99 and off Rosedale Hwy. Breakfast is good selection. The rooms are comfortable, TV selection and internet connection good and strong. Staff are friendly and helpful.

I had a great stay at Hotel Rosedale. The staff was very nice when I checked in. Unfortunately I was only there for one night but what I could see from my beautiful suite was very nice. Would recommend to anyone.

Clean but very poorly maintained. Rust colored water stains in tub, peeling paint, two lamps not working in room. Value for the price of the room and very good location and safe area.

We were on our way to Death Valley and wanted to stop in Bakersfield to get a good night's rest. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful. The accessibility to the freeway was perfect. We accidentally left our personal pillows in our room and room service held our pillows for 3 days until our return trip to pick them up. Very pleased!

Surprised to be able to stay at such a unquie oasis. Not much traffic noise, beautiful view of the poolside. I felt like I had just jumped into the brochure.

Hotel is in desperate need of an update. Nice pool area but the rest of the hotel felt old and dirty. Would not recommend it. There are plenty of hotels in the same area, pay the extra $10 and stay somewhere else.

Went up for a wedding and stayed in this hotel and it was a very nice stay. On arrival the people at the front desk were very helpful . We went to our room and had the jacuzzi suite. This room was very big and comfy. The floors felt a little dirty on our feet but all in all it was in the area needed and everything surrounding this hotel was very convenient […] also. Our family had a great time. The pool area is really nice. The Bull Shed (resturant) was alota fun! If I'm ever in Bakersfield again I will def stay here!

Other than the balcony overlooking the staicase, I would have preferred a room closer to the pool as those had better belconies, however it was great inside and very clean. All and all a great experience for not too bad of a price.

We ended up leaving our pillows behind in our room and didn't realize it until the next night, when we were five hours away. The staff was extremely helpful in finding them and sending them via FedEx back to our house in a very timely manner. Thank you, thank you!

Good breakfast! Only complaint is you had to slam and bang on bathroom door to get it closed and no ice machine anywhere near our upstairs room!

First off at check in they gave us keys to somebody else's room. So we walked in on an occupied room thinking it was ours... And vacant. After clearing that up, The first thing we notice upon entering our room was not other visitors this time but rather a big fat roach running across the floor(got picture of it). Next, They told us not to use the room […] towels at the pool but it took us asking 4 times for pool towels then we finally just went to get our room towels. Then about midnight my son got ill and vomited in the bed. We called for clean sheets and were told that everything was locked up and the night crew did not have access. We asked for access to the laundry facility so we could wash them ourselves but that too was locked and staff had no access. We asked for a roll away bed, again no access. We asked for a vacant room so that two adults and two kids, one vomiting would not all have to share a queen bed. Denied. Was told that the only rooms a available, now at nearly 2am were suites and staff did not have authority to let us use one. Finally shortly after 2am another staff member arrived for work and was able to get us a roll away cot. They so generously informed us that they would not charge us for the use of the cot. It was a nightmare. However, the facility looked very nice and the free breakfast was great. Mehr

The room was nice looking and clean. One of the hallways had the tile stop and just was just untreated concrete for a while. The spa smelt like mildew. Overall, it was a fine hotel to sleep at. Jus a little rough around the edges when you left the room.

Broke a long road trip up into two days by doing a stopover in Bakersfield. The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable, the morning's buffet breakfast was pretty good too.

Over all the stay was quiet and the staff was more then nice, But one day i was walking out to my car when the cleaning people up stairs was cleaning and as i'm walking out of hallway i feel all the dirt and dust fall onto my head. Good place for a two night stay while we visited family. Kids had a great time on playground and in jacuzzi. Close to freeway, Costco, fast food.

I was very surpried at how nice the hotel was for the price. It was conveniently located near the freeway, but there was not freeway noise. The room was very spacious and there was a small refrigerator and a microwave. There was even a balcony with a view of the very attractive pool area. I've stayed at many hotels that advertise free breakfast, so […] I was expecting the usual sweet rolls and coffee. Was I ever surprised to find fresh biscuits and very tasty country gravy along with make-your-own waffles, hard-boiled eggs, cereal, fruit and, yes, sweet rolls and muffins. Everything was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I will never stay anywhere else when I am in Bakersfield. Mehr

Pet room had sticky tile floors. better than carpet for pet rooms but the room was heavy bleach smelling. Old worn out towels. Grounds are kept up nicely.Inside rooms around pool look much better than outside rooms.Stay if nothing else is available. Not very friendly front desk.

Hotel is surprisingly located within walking distance of excellent shopping and restaurants. The hotel itself is well maintained with an on-site restaurant. The outdoor area was well maintained with a mini-resort type flare with a swimming pool and landscape including a children's play area. The rooms were large and well maintained. The atmosphere throughout this huge hotel was kind of creepy and smelly. Dated furniture throughout - needs modernizing desperately. Gave us a handicapped room, though not requested. Bathroom floor had huge stains and shower head was not installed correctly. Advise you to stay at another hotel in this area - there are several.
