Das Angebot war so günstig, dass ich auf eine Enttäuschung gefasst war, umso mehr hab ich mich über das geräumige Zimmer und tolle Bad gefreut. Natürlich ist es ein Flughafenhotel, so dass man ab und an überflogen wird, aber das ist halb so wild. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Wir haben in der Neujahrszeit mit unserer zwei Kleinkinder das Hotel bewohnt und fanden es für unsere Bedürfnisse sehr geeignet. Das Hotel war sauber, das Personal sehr freundlich, und einfach "alles in Ordnung". Da es in unmittelbare Nähe zur Wohngebiet unsere dort ansässige Familie liegt, werden wir uns in alle wahrscheinlichkeit dort wieder zurückfinden.

Es handelt sich nicht um ein Fünf Sterne Hotel und ist schon ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Aber das Zimmer war tadellos und das Personal sehr freundlich. Insbesondere die (kostenlosen) Nachmittagsdrinks fand ich sehr gelungen. Ich würde jederzeit wieder buchen.

Das Hotel war ganz OK. Housekeeping nur einmal die Woche. Zielgruppe sind ganz klar Angehörige von Patienten im nahen Medical Center. Ich würde dort wieder zwei-drei mal übernachten. Die Umgebung war ein wenig laut (Eisenbahntrasse in der Nähe, Technikgebäude des Medical Center direkt hinterm Haus). Houston Zoo und Science Museum noch zu Fuß erreichbar, alles andere mit Auto.
Lage
Comfort Inn Southwest befindet sich mitten in Houston. Folgende Sehenswürdigkeit liegt in der Umgebung: First Colony Mall. Zu den weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten der Region gehören: Galleria Mall und Reliant Stadium.
Ausstattung

"All you need!"
The hotel was really nice for the price we paid. In the room there was a kitchenette(microwave,fridge,sink) and a sofa then on the side was the bed and then the bathroom.The only thing that was outdated was the TV but we usually just bring our own movies and just watch it on the laptop.Wireless was not in the room but in the lobby.Other than that, its […] a great value. The pool was closed and work out room needed worked on. The hallways were at least 90' and the breakfast needs to be looked at!

the entire hotel was said to be smoke free yet EVERYTHING smelled like cigarette smoke. the entire hallway and rooms smelled like smoke!!!
"Hotel in SW Houston"
Overall, a good value. I was quite taken back by the condition of the landscape around the hotel. The grass had not been cut and the weeds were a foot or two tall. There was trash in the parking lot also. Once inside the hotel was nice but the air conditioner was not working in the halls or in the breakfast room.

This was a comfortable nice looking hotel. Other than the first mix up when they sent me to a room that was dirty! but other than that for the price its a good deal
Hotel seemed older but had been kept up nicely. The water wasn't always hot, but the room was comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was nice.
"Nice hotel for the $$"
The cost was very inexpensive so, I was a bit concerned that the pictures would not be truly representative. To my surprise, however, the hotel was clean and comfortable.
Overall, the hotel was a great stay. The only thing we weren't to happy about was the free breakfast that came along with the stay. I've been to many hotels and it was the worst. Everything else was great!

This hotel is not The Ritz, so don't expect it to be... but for a great clean room with all of the comforts and a full hot breakfast... this is a great deal... "Comfort inn southwest great"
Love it! Great for the cost. Its clean, has full breakfast with waffles, and beds are very comfortable. Right of the freeway and many restaurants. Its the only place I go.

The shower curtain was filthy. The toilet was not clean. The sheets and towels smelled like they had not been washed with adequate detergent. I made it clear that I needed wifi and was told there was. When I got to the room there was no connection. I was given a cable that forced me to work on a sofa that was uncomfortable. there was no hot water on second floor. when it was conveyed to front desk, he gave us another room. there was no hot water in another room also............overall hotel was good.

You may not get hot water if two of you stay in one room. So Avoid in Winter.. Dont expect a great breakfast. May be value for money other than above two.

The evening clerk wasn't friendly or unfriendly. She was just there getting paid to do a job. However, the gentlemen who checked us out the next morning, was extremely friendly and courteous. He was a joy and if I could bottle his kindness I would take it everywhere I travel. Not sure if he is the owner or just an extraordinary person. When we arrived, we tried to turn the AC on. It was broken. We had to move to another room. When we got into the new room, we discovered that it was dirty, and we didn't want to touch anything. There was hair covering the toilet and bathtub. There were mildewed spots all over the carpet. And, we had a huge brown stain on the top of our comforter. The hotel was ok for the price in today economy. The complimentary breakfast was awesome I enjoyed that a bunch. You have a lot of surrounding attractions also. The only and most important thing that was missing was The HOT WATER for the SHOWER. I would recommend it to only those unless its fixed that enjoy COLD SHOWERS. JD

"you get what you pay for"
I had to stay here, and chose this location because it was close, and it had a pool for my son. The room was dirty there were hand prints all over the headboard, hair on the floor in the restroom. The rooms smelled like smoke even though it was "non-smoking" the pool was green and dirty, and the hot tub was cooler than the pool, and did not work. Although […] I got a great price on the room the extra few dollars a night at the hotel down the road was worth it! Mehr

-okay for the price -not at all satisfied with the cable tv - unreliable, could not watch or listen to certain channels - bathroom could have been cleaner - weak wifi signal in the room, luckily they have wired connections - would probably not come back
