Great hotel and another Langham. Deco style with big rooms and enormous bath in the bathroom as well as the shower etc. Great yum cha on weekends. Super location a hop skip and jump from the Bund and shopping etc. As with the other Langham in Shanghai great service and style. My stay was very nice. I was originally placed in a room on the inside facing the courtyard but I did not like the thought of people on the other side of the courtyard looking into my room. I was moved to a room overlooking the church and People's Square and the room was much bigger. Everything was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast […] was good but not great. Very nice world class hotel, half block to the metro and the Nanjing Road shopping district, with great restaurants and service. Well equipped gym, super luxe rooms. Langham knows how to do it right and still have each hotel with its own character!

Langham has a great property here, and it will definitely be our #1 Choice in Shanghai. Great location, easy access to everything inside and out, just off Nanjing Road, half a block to the Metro. Fantastic rooms, standard room is more than adequate, but executive upgrade is spectacular. T'ang restaurant is top quality, but choose your dishes carefully […] and you can still eat well without breaking the bank. Service rushed the first four dishes a bit and then forgot the fifth, but the good food was worth it. Wines are too expensive, but choose a Chilean or Argentenian on the lower end of the price range and avoid heart failure when you get the bill. Still overall we had a memorable dinner for two with wine for about $100, which while not a bargain, is still excellent value compared to others. The lack of a view is one shortcoming, but the excellent interior design focuses you on the food as it should. Mehr

The quality of the hotel room was excellent. The place was pristine, an old-style five star hotel. Spacious room, massive bathroom, with deep bath.The location was excellent, next to a shopping complex with subway station underneath. Close to People square, Nanjing Road. In stark contrast to its large 600+ neighbours, the Langham Yangtze Boutique is small (96 rooms) with a very elegant interior and staff which responded quickly and unobtrusively to questions and requests. The location near People's Park puts you in the middle of everything (at least in regards to what I needed to do). Great hotel; perfect location, two blocks from Nanjing road, adjacent to subway People's Square subway station (exit 14). Very nice classic hotel with excellent service.

The rooms were spacious and the bathroom was a nice size too! The hotel is a small boutique hotel with all the amenities...service was great! Would definitely recommend.

We spent ten delightful days at the Langham Yangtze Boutique Hotel in Shanghai just three months after it opened in May 2009, and we were fully satisfied with the hotel, the service, the staff, the friendliness, the staff's English ability, and the restaurants. The location is ideal, right next to Shanghai's central subway station and across the street […] from People's Square and adjacent to Nanjing Dong Lu Pedestrian shopping street. Virtually all the major attractions in Shanghai were within walking distance (say, half a mile). Our room was spacious and beautifully furnished. Roomservice was fast and good. Complimentary breakfast was included. (However, internet was not--that's my one complaint.) The hotel furnishes umbrellas when it rains; that's the sort of service that typifies this lovely new hotel. I recommend it without reservation. Langham lever definitivt opp til forventningene! Store rom med store bad. Hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening samtidig som du bor kjempesentralt. Min beste anbefaling i Shanghai.

中庭に面しているお部屋だったのですが、窓からの光が少なく、暗いお部屋でした。ロビーやレストランも基本は光をあまりいれていなくて、ちょっと暗い雰囲気です。 インテリアの雰囲気などはクラシカル＋キュートで素敵。 夕食をホテルの中のイタリアンで食べましたが、ここの料理はぜんぜんおいしくなかったです。 金額の割にはいまいちかな。。

チェックインの時からとても親切でした。予約から人数が変わったのですが、私たちに都合の良いように対応していただきました。タクシーの手配や場所の案内なども丁寧で、訪ねた住所をタクシーのドライバーにも分かる様に中国語の表記のメモを渡していただきました。廊下ですれ違うメンテの方たちもにこやかに挨拶され、気持のよい滞在でした。 朝食の値段が高く、外へ食べに行きました。すぐ近くに飲茶レストランがあり、ホテルで食べるのと比べると格段に安いです。
