Wir möchten immer ein Zimmer zum Hof haben und nicht eines im angrenzenden Hotelgebäude. Ich habe deshalb schon die teurere Zimmerkategorie gebucht mit 2 Betten. Aber wie letztes Mal 10 Dollar Upgrade gezahlt. Aber dafür super freundlicher Service. Super Preis Leistungsverhälltnis für San Francisco und tolle lage zu Fuß 5-10Minuten zur Fisherman-Warf. Auch parken für 12 Dollar in San Francisco ,es sind es in den meisten anderen Hotels 25-50 Dollar.Jederzeit wieder.

Das Hotel liegt in der Geary St. ein paar Blocks vom Union Square. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im zweiten Stockwerk im Mittelgang, was den großen Vorteil hat, dass man den Straßenlärm nicht mitbekommt, sondern nur den gelegentlichen Lärm den andere Gäste verursachen. Die Zimmer haben nur ein kleines Fenster mit einem wenig schönen Ausblick auf den Innenhof. Das Continental Breakfast besteht aus Kaffee, Toast m. Butter u. Marmelade, O- bzw. Apfelsaft u. einem Stück Obst. Problematisch ist die Parkplatzsituation, da gleich vor der Haustür eine Bushaltestelle ist und ansonsten i.d.R. nur Parkplätze für Kurzparker vorhanden sind. Das Hotel bietet für 30 $ p. Tag einen Valetparkservice an, d.h. es kommt jemand u. parkt das Auto irgendwo, was sehr gut funktioniert hat. Das Hotel liegt zwar in der Nähe des Unionsquare aber auch sehr dicht am Tenderloin Bezirk, den man vor allem Nachts meiden sollte. Insgesamt kann ich das Hotel vom Preis - Leistungsverhältnis weiter empfehlen!

"gute Unterkunft nahe San Francisco"
Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und hilfsbereit, man bekommt Gutscheine für ein nahegelegenes, sehr gutes Fitnessstudio, per Auto oder per Fähre kann man San Francisco gut erreichen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und sind sogar noch länger geblieben als geplant!

"Hotel has been updated nicely"
We hadn't stayed here in a while, but they have remodeled it nicely now. Service from staff is always nice and friendly. Great to be by the water, too!

This is a GREAT Hotel for the value. It's on the water, overlooking the bay and in the heart of SF, Oakland, and Alameada. Its well worth the money for what you receive and SUPER SUPER quite and clean and a great place to enjoy.

I was looking for a room for a few nights that was safe for myself and two little girls- 1 and 3 years old and this was so nice and safe. The gentleman that i met at the front counter was so polite and so helpful. I had a few minor issues in the room that i was able to fix myself. Overall this is a beautiful and wonderful kid friendly place!

The hotel had a beautiful view of the marina. There was a shopping center near by for convenience. Close to city by car but quiet and peaceful.

The hotel is wonderfully located at a marina, and close to my family. Usually they offer a good rate, and it's quiet at night. However, I always feel the rooms are not clean. The linens look grimy and I have started to bring my own pillow case. Waste basket had debris of previous guests. Carpet not clean, etc. I don't know if they ever wipe tv control, […] light switches etc. I can put up with it for a few nights, because for me the advantages outweigh the disadvantages so far. Mehr

The Marina Inn is out of the way and took me forever to find. When I finally got there, the room they gave me smelled horrible. It smelled like a rest room at a rest stop that is never cleaned. It was disgusting. I asked to be moved and the guy was very nice about it and moved me to another room and upgraded me to a suite. After that it was fine. "One night stand"
The hotel has alot of deferred maintenance but it's OK for the price. I had no satisfaction with their TV and cable set up. The channels that were advertised on their in room guide were not available. Plus there was a pile driver in the marina that started this incredibly loud pounding promptly at 6 AM> SO being right on the water turned a nice view […] into a rude awakening. Keep in mind that the noise factor was not the work of the hotel itself so they played no part in it, but this obnoxious event took them from a B- to a C -. Buyer be ware. Mehr

We had a beautiful room. The hotel is on the water and the location was great for all the events we had planned. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. We ended up extending our stay by 2 days :) and will definitely be returning on our next trip out.

We have stayed here several times. Staff is always pleasant an helpful. Rooms are nice size and tidy. The changes in the lobby/breakfast area are an improvement. The neighborhood is nice for strolling. Good restaurants within 5 miles.

The hotel is right on the marina and it's a perfect spot. It is the best location in Alameda. Right between 2 pretty yacht clubs and away from main roads. We stayed there New Years Eve to avoid the ever vigilant Alameda police after attending a party nearby. It was a quick cab ride. How nice to wake up to sailboats especially with the room's great big […] windows. Tip: I was glad we checked in early because we were originally assigned a room facing the side of the yacht club with no view at all and only a double bed. "A little get away."
I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The front desk was very pleasant and jovial. I highly recommend Marina Village to any and all people who either wish to get away or are staying in the Alameda area. The only bad part is the parking. There are parts of the parking lot where you can be ankle deep in rain water.

Me and my girl made a last minute reservation for this hotel with a waterview upon arrival we were informed they were out of waterview rooms and without hesitation or more money we were upgraded to a suite which was by far better than waterview beds were comfortable hotel was very quite and intimate we loved this place I can imagine why someone would […] give his place a bad review WE LOVED IT! The Marina Village Inn is located in a peaceful, scenic sailing community, minutes from the freeway and downtown Oakland. We were very happy with the atmosphere and amenities, and we plan to use the Inn the next time we need to stay in the area.

I try and stay at the Marina Village Inn whenever I visit the Bay area. Rooms are always clean, the surrounding area quiet and parking is always convenient. Staff is always helpful. I usually miss breakfast but the coffee is hot and newspapers available (USA TODAY and SF CHRONICLE plus the local ALAMEDA NEWS) View of Bay and if I go for a Bay view I […] always enjoy it plus wtching the traffic knowing I am not on the Oakland side of the Bay!!!! This was the coziest best kept secret in Alameda/Oakland area. Sits right on the Marina and is so comfy. The front desk guys are soooooo very sweet. I would definitely stay here again and again. The internet was extremely slow and was a bummer as I had lots of work to do.

I would not stay at this property again. The location was fairly convenient but that was the only real plus. The layout of the property was awkward, the outside lighting in the parking lot, the sidewalks leading to the room (which had an exterior entrance) and outside the door was non existent to poor.
