gut gelegenes Hotel, sauberes, frisch renoviertes Zimmer, für den Klappsessel ("Couch") eigentlich zu klein, seitlicher Meerblick (wenn man auf dem Balkon steht), Badezimmer- Installation und Badmöbel grenzwertig, freundliche Mitarbeiter, reichhaltiges Frühstück. Der Pool war nicht benutzbar, angeblich wegen Arbeiten (Ende April nicht so schlimm); Abwassergeruch in Eingangsbereich (vielleicht auch wegen Reparaturarbeiten). Insgesamt gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, wir waren zufrieden.

Das Zimmer war komfortabel. Die Hotenangestellten waren sehr bemüht und aufmerksam und immer hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Putzfrau nahm es nicht zu genau mit dem Reinlichkeit der Fliesen, da waren auf dem Boden noch vereinzelt Haare vom Vormieter zu sehen, daher nur 4 Punkte, dieser Mangel wurde aber nach Aufmerksammachen sofort beseitigt. Das Frühstück schlägt mit 27€ zu Buche, hält aber dem Vergleich international im 5* Niveau nicht Stand, da erwartet man etwas mehr. Das a la carte Restaurant hingegen ist wirklich erste Klasse, die Qualität der Speisen ist wirklich super. Alles in Allem muß man sagen, ein tolles Hotel und ich komme gern wieder, wenn es mich aml in die Ecke zieht.

Für diesen Preis war das OK! Hotel befindet sich nicht weit von Zentrum, zu fuß 15 Minuten, aber die merkt man nicht, weil die Natur, Architektur lenken sehr gut ab! Zimmer für 4 Personen war nicht groß, aber nicht vergessen über Anzahl der Sterne, dafür war die sauber. Wer sparen will ist das das richtige. Wir waren zufrieden. Danke Hotels.com
Lage
Hotel Gray d'Albion befindet sich mitten in Cannes und liegt in Flughafennähe. Nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt befinden sich: La Croisette und Palais des Festival et des Congrès.
Ausstattung
Der private Sandstrand ist nur 250 Meter entfernt. Dieses Hotel sorgt auch für das leibliche Wohl. Vor Ort gibt es Folgendes: 2 Restaurants sowie Bar/Lounge. Ein W-LAN-Internetzugang steht gegen Gebühr in den öffentlichen Bereichen zur Verfügung. Dieses Hotel mit 4 Sternen hat Geschäftsreisenden Folgendes zu bieten: Businesscenter, Tagungsräume für kleine Gruppen und Konferenzraum. Das Hotelpersonal hilft Ihnen gerne bei allen Fragen weiter. Das Hotel liegt zwischen Promenade und Haupteinkaufsstraße im "neuen" Teil von Cannes, direkt an einer kleinen shopping mall. Das Foyer erinnert, wie vieles in Cannes, vom Stil her etwas an glorreiche, aber vergangene […] Zeiten - alter Prunk in Marmor. Die Zimmer und Bäder aber sind sehr gut, hochwertig, modern und neu eingerichtet. Enttäuscht hat lediglich das Frühstücksbuffet im schönen und edel anmutenden Restaurant: sehr eingeschränkte Auswahl zum stolzen Preis. Überlegenswert ist daher, auswärts zu Frühstücken. "Hotel Gray d'Albion"
The hotel is wonderfully located in Cannes and the Croisette and was beautifully appointed. I have been to Cannes 11 years and this is my first stay, I would definitely recommend it to everyone.
"good location & value for money but that's all"
The rooms need a 'facelift'. The bathroom is tiny and the fixtures not high quality although great looking. The hotel has a funy smell. The guests are very noisy and insconsiderate. Locations is superb, and the staff are helpful especially the bell desk. Probably won't go there again though!

In the center of Cannes, in a modern, elegant building with spacious rooms surrounded by great cafes and restaurants this is in everyway a four star hotel. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Request for ice was fulfilled in less than 5 minutes. Huge, comfortable bed. Windows that opened was nice and when closed all outside sound was gone. Only […] concern was that AC not available until May and it can be a little warm in April. Overall highly recommend, all our expectations were met or exceeded. Mehr

"Great place, a bit pricey"
The hotel was fantastic. Everything was great as far as the room and the staff. The only issue came in that everything was overpriced. Now I realize that we were in Cannes, and that is the town motto, "Overprice everything!" But when we went on their private beach, they charged us 35 Euros to sit on a beach chair with an umbrella. Which by the way wasn't […] even mentioned until we got up to leave (ask prices first!) It was just ridiculous and should be complementary. The food was overpriced at the hotel as well. But other than that, it was a great place to stay. Very comfortable and right in the heart of the city. Mehr

The Hotel Gray d'Albion is a wonderful choice if you want close proximity to shopping, restaurants and a private beach. The rooms are spacious, modern and tastefully decorated. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

The hotel is very well located, and couldn't be any more central for someone wishing to explore Cannes. I found the staff very courteous, friendly and professional, and my only reservation is that it is expensive, although most of the hotels in Cannes of the same standard are probably in a similar price range. Another drawback is there is no parking, […] and you have to pay per day which works out at €26 for a day rate. There is a large public car park right next door to the hotel but if you are staying here for 3/4 days you will find the parking expensive. Otherwise the room was very comfortable and clean, and extrememely well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay! Mehr
"Would definitely stay here again!"
When we arrived at the hotel at 10.30am we got a room straight away on the 8th floor. It was a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the breakfast garden and streets. The room was prefectly clean and bright. We also had bathrobes. The staff in the hotel were very helpful and friendly and really made us feel at home. We had breakfast one moring in […] the hotel which we had to pay extra for as it was not included in our package. The breakfast consisted of a buffet of croissants, pastries, two types of cheese, breads, two different cold meats, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage and they charged us 24euro each for the breakfast. It was definitley not worth that. But on awhole we would definitely stay there again! Mehr

"Pleasant stay"
We have stayed here on a number of occasions and were not disappointed this time. The room was spacious and quiet and the bed very large and very comfortable. We seemed to have been upgraded to a superior room which was a pleasant surprise. Cannes is lovely in February, much quieter and easier to get around. "Location is fine"
Hotel located very well and certanly cost their money, though breakfast for these kind of money could be better or these breafast should cost less. Rooms indeed a bit shabby - but don't forget - you are in France it is OK here

L'hotel est vraiement très classe, très agréable. La chambre est vraiment super agréable. Un niveau de confort que vous ne trouvez pas partout,meme dans des hotels de ce standing ce n'est pas forcement évident. Salle de bain avec baignoire large très confortable,vasque design,matériaux nobles. Le lit fait partie des bonnes surprises,d'un confort et […] d'une douceur pour la couette vraiement rare. Deux bémols: - Le grand lit était composé de 2 matelas collés,et malgré le surmatelas qui donné du confort lorsqu'on dort a 2 ça se sent cette séparation qui devient parfois désagréable :( - Le wifi payant(15e/jour) vu le prix de la chambre ça devrait etre gratuit.Mais il faut etre honnete, tous les hotels de hauts standings le font payer,mais les hotels premier prix non(Allez comprendre la logique commerciale) Après c'est sur que l'hotel niveau classe est peut etre un peu too much pour des personnes "normales" mais pour ceux qui aiment le confort et le luxe allez y les yeux fermés. Un exemple des petits plus qui montrent le niveau: Un coffre fort pour ceux qui veulent laisser les sous ou les bijoux dans la chambre, 3 telephones dont un aux toilettes, la baignoire avec pommeau de douche, douche amovible, et mitigeur pour faire couler le bain, grand seche serviette, mini bar, tv lcd, imprimante avec des feuilles et le pilote d'installation dans un tiroir( si on a besoin d'imprimer des documents) 6 verres de taille différentes disponibles, 2 chaises et une petite table ronde,2 grands placards coulissants et une commode vide (pour vous mesdames et votre armada de fringues),2 peignoirs + serviettes a disposition, 6 oreillers de taille et de densité différentes(impossible de pas trouver son bonheur pour dormir)température de la chambre très douce, ni chaud ni froid vraiment idéal. Un sauna ou hamam aurait été pour moi idéal(meme payant) et le wifi gratuit c'est incontournable! Allez y et Profitez !! Mehr

Mycket fräscht och modernt hotell. Underbart säng och underbart badrum. Personalen är trevlig och mycket service inriktade. Trevligt att de gör rummen i ordning för natten, bäddar upp, byter handdukar osv. Enda negativa är att frukosten är mindre bra och absolut inte värd pengarna.

this is a first class hotel. close to croisette, beach and night life in cannes. price is perfectly ok, when comparing to 5 star hotels which are double, but not much better, if at all. only thing we missed was a hotel-swimming pool.
