Das Hotel ist leicht zu finden, trotzden hört man im Zimmer die Straße nicht und es ist wie alle dieser Kette sehr komfortabel für den Preis. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Die Teeauswahl lässt sich sehen und man kann auch Abends noch eine Tasse vor dem Kamin genießen. We were fortunate to have a reading chair in our room this time but understand from previous visits that only a desk chair is typically included in the room. The bed itself was reasonably comfortable and the room and building were reasonably clean. extremely friendly staff

Our friend and her 2 kids joined my family of 3 on a small trip to the cities. We stayed at the Country Inn and Suites in Eagan and it was a very nice hotel for the price. We were able to fit 3 adults and 3 kids in the room comfortably. The only problem was one of the hot tubs was closed, obviously due to needing repair. The breakfast was great. Accomadating […] since I rescently had weight-loss surgery and needed healthy choices. I would stay here again in the future! Mehr

When we checked in, we were asked for a credit card for "incidentals." Having stayed in many hotels prior to this, we expected this and provided same. Later that evening, I happened to check the credit card online and was stunned to see a pending charge that was more than double the nightly rate. When we questioned the front desk staff, we were told […] it was an error and she would call and get it released. It was not released and we spoke to the manager the next morning and she told us they routinely do this as their "incidentals" includes potential damage to the room, pet charges, etc. That's fine, but they need to advise people of this fact. The card we provided has a very low limit and a hold of this magnitude and for which we were unprepared could have caused an over the limit fee. The manager did not seem to care and it was several days after we checked out before the hold was released. A week later we stayed at another hotel (different brand) and were advised upon check in what the hold would be. Be aware of what this hotel's hold for "incidentals" will be because they likely will not tell you up front. Mehr

Had to change rooms 3 times before we were able to have one that was in a quiet area and had all of the furniture in it. The shower curtain was short so we had to use towels to cover the floor from the flooding. They would not allow us to use our Carlson Awards card because the hotel was booked by my daughter from this web site and not there's! Would […] not recommend it it or would stay here again. Mehr

If the front desk staff is any indication as to the kind of stay one has in a hotel then check into this Country Inn & Suites! From the first to the last moment of our 3 night stay we were pleased. If we had a concern (dead batteries in the remote) they were dealt with immediately. The breakfast, although very busy was great. Super selection of both […] hot and not choices. The hotel was also close to a gas station and restaurants. The room was very comfortable, spacious and clean. We wholeheartedly recommend this Country Inn & Suites. Mehr

we had a wonderful stay there - good breakfasts, warm chocolate chip cookies at front desk, friendly hotel staff, clean rooms, nice hot tubs (2) and pool nice and warm too! I would definitely go back!

Staff was very friendly and would go out of their way to make sure your stay was perfectd.

The hotel was not all that. 1st of all the rooms are old need remodeling. Tiles in the bathroom were cracking and the motor between the tiles was coming out. We are in the 21 century and the hotel does not have flat screen tvs in the rooms. There is no water fountains in the entire hotel I had to purchase water from the outside in order to drink water. […] Breakfast hours was good with alot of varieties but they only had one person working there and that person could not do all the work for all the people that are staying and having breakfast. I believe she was doing her best to keep everyone happy but managment at the hotel needs to realize that they need at least two people working the breakfast area. Great hotel, wonderful staff, great shuttle service.Great big rooms and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay there.

The breakfast offerings were phenomenal! Staff exceptional (well, the first check in person was a bit flippant with her humor...but she warmed up after a minute or two). It was close to many of the main road arteries so we could get anywhere easily.

The beds were suppose to be queen but they were double beds instead, The breakfast was horrible. The eggs were like hockey pucks and the pastry was very dry.. The eating area is so small that kept bumping into everyone . The tables could seat 2 people. The worst country suite I ever stayed at.

We stayed at this hotel for a four day visit. The hotel was very nice for the money. Hotel needs a little updating (carpets a bit worn) but otherwise was fine. The one complaint I had was that there was no chair or couch in the room! When I complained to the front desk they stated that all chairs had been removed by upper management. The only complaint I had was that the only seating in the very large room was a desk chair on wheels. for anyone with back problems this would be problematic. When I asked about it I was told the management had made a decision to remove all occasional chairs from the rooms. Yet the room next to me had a chair and ottoman and a well worn sofa.

The room we had (417) must of been a smoking room at one time. It had a smoking odor. I think it was in the carpet.

This hotel had everything we wanted: a pool, free wi-fi, and free breakfast. We had a wonderful stay! It seems to have many business guests and each time we went to the pool, our family was the only crew in there. We would definitely stay there again!

I needed a place to stay locally for a one-night getaway in my home area because I had to be out of my house for the night. The Country Inn & Suites in Eagan was very affordable especially given all the amenities it offers. My situation was unusual in that I also needed to rent a car for the day after this stay (check-out day), so the free airport shuttle […] they offered was an additional bonus. The location of this hotel is extremely convenient, right on Highway 55 at Highway 149, with easy access to both I-35E and I-494. In my unusual case, I live and work nearby and it was convenient to where I needed to be that day. My room was comfortable and clean, although it was quite hot when I first arrived. The AC unit was able to quickly cool it to a comfortable level, and then I opened the window as it was nice outside. My only complaint about staying at this hotel was that a couple of times in the middle of the night there was loud conversation nearby that I could hear right through the walls. It didn't sound like yelling - it sounded more like someone with a naturally loud voice. It wasn't loud enough to make out the actual words, but it was loud enough to be bothersome when trying to sleep. Perhaps they need to improve the sound insulation between the rooms to avoid this problem in the future. Overall though I was happy with this hotel and would recommend it to others who need a good place to stay in the area. I regret that due to timing I didn't have a chance to try the free breakfast offering, so I can't comment on its quality. Mehr

Nice staff and clean hotel. Good breakfast. Quiet and conveniently located. Would recommend to others.

We were happy with the room being larger than normal. The breakfast and swimming pool were nice as well. I will recommend the hotel to friends! Wayne.

Great location just minutes away from the Mall of America, the MN Zoo, the Como Park Zoo, the Children's Museum, and IKEA. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Wonderful breakfasts in the morning and fresh cookies in the evening. No kids' movies or Treehouse channel available. Kids enjoyed the pool, but needed life jackets - no kiddie pool. The bedding […] was clean, but had that musty smell even when they changed the sheets. It was great to have a fridge in the room. The 2 queen room had enough space for the 5 of us. Overall, a wonderful stay for the price. I would definitely stay there again and I will recommend it to others. Mehr

I booked a reservation online but called hotel days ahead to note that I'd be a late arrival. Other walk-ins apparently got preferential treatment and I was assigned to an "accessible" room. The bathroom was very hard to use because shower had no soap dish or place to set anything, and wheelchair access to shower results in water going into bathroom […] floor -- neither was suitable for able or handicapped person. Bath also had no counter, only a wooden table. Extremely unsatisfactory for anyone. Continental breakfast also was poor -- little choice except among high fat, high sugar, and/or high carbohydrate options. Eggs pre-fried to go into biscuits were terrible, especially if you didn't want a biscuit. Everything was poor quality. No fresh fruit except bananas. Won't be returning. Mehr

The staffs members are friendly. Our room is clean. We stayed here 2 nights 3days. The Target Field is close here, Mall of America, and lots of good restaurat to choose. Heated swimming pool and whirlpool are so relaxing.

We were 3 adults and three children 6 and younger traveling together. While the facility is not perfect, it is a great value with nice amenities. Any problems were not significant enough issues to lessen the quality of the property in relation to the value. For someone who is focused on nit-picking the small things, this is not the property for you. […] However, for a family on a limited budget or the typical traveler, this location is great! Mehr

Very nice hotel for the money.

We were quite satisfied with our over-all stay. The price we got was great and the continental breakfast always had a great selection and variety of both hot and cold breakfast foods. The only problem with the rooms for all three parties that stayed here was the lack of proper ventilation. The exhaust fans in all the bathrooms didn't appear to work […] - therefore, it smelled a little wet & damp and needed better air circulation. One bathroom in particular had mildew on the ceiling - quite noticiable and unappealling. We cracked a window through the day, however, our friends on the first floor couldn't when they weren't going to be around. The overall stay was good and the shuttle service worked wonderfully. Mehr

We needed a room for one night, and this fit the bill. It was just a basic room with a king bed. It was just a few miles from the Mall of America and in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The coffee in the lobby at night was a nice touch. It was nice to have a microwave and fridge in the room. Hotel staff were friendly just weren't quick in trying to find […] a solution to a few minor issues we had with the room and room keys. They kind of acted like it wasn't their problem. The bed was fine and overall it was clean. Had problems with our toilet clogging up and pouring water all over the floor...at least we were getting ready to check-out when that happened. Have never had that at a hotel before. The breakfast had the potential to be great but was a huge disappointment. It was chaos trying to get your food due to the layout of the breakfast area and then a lot of the food tasted like it was on the verge of going bad. In my opinion, if a hotel is going to spend money on providing a breakfast then they should make sure that what they're serving is decent. It could be a really great hotel if they would just make a few minor changes! Mehr

Great service, but the rooms need to be maintained much better! The bathroom tiles were cracked, broken, and loose. Looking at the wondows from the outside you could see a lot of the curtains were ripped, or shredded. The first room that we were given had been smoked in even though the whole hotel is smoke free. This was a very unexpected trip with […] Country Inn & Suites. I have never had any of these problems with any other stays in this chain before. This hotel was a wonderful place to stay; my friend and I were pleasantly greeted at the front lobby, and from that point on, we were treated like royalty. The people were so friendly and helpful, and the rooms were great. Beds were very comfortable, and rooms were spacious and very clean. First hotel we've ever been in where all the bedding is completely tucked in leaving the box springs exposed all day along with the original sales tags still attached and showing. Pretty hookey. One washcloth was so thin that when I used it my finger poked through and before I was done with my shower it was literally in shreds. Gave it to the front […] desk person so the maids wouldn't pass it on to someone else. The staff was very friendly espically the front desk guys and the shuttle drivers, now if our room had only been half as nice! Mehr
