Das Hotel betitelt sich als "Best kept secret in Miami" - dass sollte auch so bleiben. Das Hotel hält in keinster Weise was es verspricht - die gezeigten Photos treffen nicht zu. Das Hotel ist heruntergekommen, die Zimmer sind muffig und nur oberflächig geputzt (wenn überhaupt). Der Schimmel sitzt überall - an den Wänden, im Bad sowie in den Teppichen […] der Flure. Das Frühstück kann als solches nicht betitelt werden. Das nächste Mal lieber etwas mehr für das Hotel ausgeben, als nochmal in dieses Hotel. Mehr

Hotel hat keine funktionierte Klimaanlage, Kuehlschrank verrostet, stinkendes Zimmer, unfreundliche Personal und keine Servicesbereitsschaft.

- Shuttle-Service nur bis 21:00Uhr verfügbar, was nirgendswo im Internet ausgeschrieben ist

Hotel liegt ganz gut ,kommt mit der Bahn überall hin .Es ist ganz einfach

Als Übernachtung nach/vor seinem Flug optimal. Der Pool war tell, das Frühstück wie überall in den USA und das Personal ist hilfsbereit. Wir wurden mit dem Hotelshuttle zur Abholung des Mietwagens gebracht.

Die Umgebung schien uns sehr einsam. Keine Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Nur bedingt empfohlen.

The 1st room was disguisting. The 2nd room was a pinch better. The Location was amazing. But the hotel stink so bad like mildew. The room looks like a dead body outline should be present. The sheets were torn and in desperate need of replacing. And the icing on the cake was the ceiling that leaked the entire night. The hotel looks like it could be beautiful […] again. But no one cares enough to make the needed adjustments. On the flip side the staff was AMAZING, KIND, CONSIDERATE. Although the Hotel is a bit old and a bit hidden, it was in a good area and it served its purpose for our stay. The room was very comfortable and had all the amenities. For the first time I have slept in such a comfortable matress. The next morning breakfast was on time and they had a good variety. A suggestion would be to add to their menu Yogurt and […] Oat Meal. We worried when we arrived that they could not find our reservation but it was quickly resolved apparently it had not been entered into their system. One minor complaint and that the parking facilities are expensive, I feel it should be included in the price for the stay. Overall I would say there again and we are thinking about it since we have to take our son to the University of Miami open house and it is perfect for that. Mehr

the air condition not working with sound after the complain the maintenance fixed. the telephone is not connected. the refrigerator is rusty. the door nob are very dirty. not a friendly atmosphere.

This hotel is run by unprofessional clowns. I waited an hour to be checked in was charged an extra $10.50 for parking and a $50 dollar deposit. They gave me the key to a room that was already occupied needless to say that was extremely embarrassing to open the door to an already occupied room. There was no breakfast and finally when I asked for a later […] check out they told me it would be an extra fifty dollars plus tax. This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at NEVER AGAIN!!!! Mehr

I loved that they had a pool. From the start I wasn't expecting anything fancy, as the saying goes : you get what you pay for. In our stay we primarily slept there and went out all day/ night. So it worked well. Hopefully they finish the renovations sooner rather than later. If we ever went back to Florida on vaca, I would stay again. When we first got there they did not even have a room assigned to us, so we had to wait until they check if it was one ready. Once in the room there was a water leak from the ceiling air conditioning, also the refrigerator was leaking water and there was a trash can underneath it holding the water, plus they put a towel inside the freeze to try and […] hold the water. The very old TV set did not turn on. And the worst, I forgot a cosmetic bag in the bathroom and after calling the next day front desk to ask for it the person said they never saw it... 2 guys at check inl,ignored me at the desk for over 5 mins,I think it was because I'm indian.it was really bad,and they were attentive to other people.

Checkin was very difficult was told that if the specific room I booked was unavailable they wouldn't be able to accomodate me and would get a voucher for a nights stay, lucky me they had a room (not). The room's air conditioner was mold and mildew times 10 and it was very noisy, no sleep they let kids and people run and scream around the hotel way after […] 2:00 am even in the pool. The Hotel was close to an upscale mall and many food locations but the hotel was not well maintained, the facade needed repairs, the pool chairs were old and very dirty. The furniture in the lobby lounge was dirty. The furniture in the room was old and I had to be careful not to flip the bed by making sure I sat in the middle of the bed. The sheets, […] blankets and comforters were old with many holes. There was an old rusting mini refrigerator on a shelf with a thick sheet of dust and a yellowing microwave perched on the top of it. I could not sleep of take a shower because at some point I was expecting something like a roach to show up. Breakfast was pitiful..fruitloops and cornflakes and some bagels with some pink pastry I did not recognize and was afraid to eat. The van used for transport was also a little shabby, the best part of the experience was the van driver Juan who was very helpful. Amazing location, the hotel wasn't in the greatest condition, but was clean. Hotel staff was pleasant and helpful, for the price and location, it cannot be beat.

The best thing about this hotel was the shuttle to the port which was on time. You have to book onto it though the night before as it gets full quickly. Rooms were shabby and small. Fridge was rusty and needed defrosting. We were only there for 12 hours before our cruise so it wasn't too bad but if you are staying longer and can afford a little more […] then stay somewhere else. The hotel front desk staff was not friendly, actually somewhat mean. I think the cleaning staff was friendlier. I was told to phone when I arrive at the airport. They never told me before that after 8 pm there is no hotel shuttle service. I was told to catch a taxi. I ended up taking an airport taxi costing me US$22.00. They did not tell me either that I could catch the metro costing me from the airport just US$1.50. I could have taken the metro because it is […] so easy to South Miami where the hotel is and just a couple of minutes walk. There a US$2.00 day charge forthe safe. While the location was excellent the staff and upkeep of hotel left a lot to be desired. First Miami Best Hotel charges a $2.00 per day safe rental whether you want one or not, secondly I never saw a smile or recieved a warm greeting from any of the staff, thirdly the bathroom in the room and water leaks that could easialy been fixed but must cost several […] dollars per day in wasted water. The hotel itself is old but very acceptable in its overall appearance and close proximity to metrorail was very desirable. Mehr

The hotel has definitely seen its best days, however for the price it's a good deal. It's pretty run-down but the room was very clean and confortable. It's also very close to the Metrorail station which is good if you're travelling without a car.

There were mildew stains running down the wall, probably leaks from the holes I saw in the wall. I was stuffed up in the morning from mold and my neck hurt from the uncomfortable beds. They charge for a room safe if you do not use it and extra if you use it. The parking fee is high. It was very dirty but the service was ok. I would not recommend this […] hotel. Mehr

When we questioned the additional charge of $2.00 per day for a safe, the manager told us that we should have stayed somewhere else. Plus the soft, lumpy, old beds were the worst! If I were you, I'd take the manager's advice -- stay somewhere else.

Excellent price for the area. Convenient location, within walking distance to mall, restaurants etc. Microwave and fridge in room. The hot water in the shower could have been a little hotter. The heat didn't work and since the AC was blasting, in my room it was 60 degrees. The only way to make it warmer was to turn off completely. Was not aware of the parking fee- $9 per day and the $3 per day in room safe fee. The restaurant/bar is not open. The rooms are run down- the toilet seat was chipped in our room and some lamps didn't even have light bulbs in them. Only stay here if it's a really CHEAP price. The staff is not friendly, Ice machine broken, dirty carpets, mold in room and smells moldy, elevator doesn't work properly, restaurant not open, fridge is old and rusty.. This hotel is filthy! The walls literally have dirt everywhere. Black is on the ceiling from where the vent exits. I was truly afraid of sleeping in the beds as I assumed they were just as dirty as everything else. The bedspreads were old, tattered, and smelly! The fridge was moldy on the inside and rusted on the outside. The room was freezing and you […] couldn't change the temp. There wasn't a security lock into the building from the parking garage AND no deadbolt on the door to the room. The clerk at the counter ignored me when I first arrived and continued to talk with his friend then the keys to the room were not activated. The first room we were assigned the bathroom was dirty. This hotel has some lack maintenance issues, but its location is great. Is located few blocks from restaurants, shopping mall and cinema and a main street.

The hotel was a fine place to sleep, not much beyond that. The shower was a little bit dirty, but housekeeping cleaned the room everyday so that was nice. The staff was nice enough, although there was a slight language barrier sometimes.

Worst hotel ever. MOLD in rooms, They will try to charge you a $2.15 safe charge, Out of the 11 people on the bus to the cruise NO ONES safe even worked in there rooms. Also $8.00 a night for parking + tax. We sleep in our cloths. I would not have stayed but I could not find anther room at 10:00pm on Saterday night (spring break). the cruise shuttle […] and the airport shuttle were the main reasons that My family picked the motel. When we arrived in Miami i called the hotel to set up pickup and was told "THE SHUTTLE WAS BROKE", the next day the guy working the desk said that they had done away with the shuttle from the airport. Cost $30.00 to get to hotel by cab, they will not discount room at all because of the NO SHUTTLE. Shuttle to the ship was late and made a lot of stops for other people. Made it to the ship at 2:45pm and ship sails at 4pm. NOT HAPPY. Mehr

My stay at this hotel was not good at all. The lobby was the only thing nice. The rooms were not like the pictures at all. The hotel is falling apart, the smell of mold and mildew was everywhere. The pool and hot tub was dirty and me and my family couldn't even go relax by the pool.
