Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe eines Highways, das Viertel wirkte okay. Das Personal war unfreundlich, sprach teilweise sehr schlechtes Englisch. Beim Check In hat der Portier mit seinem Headset telephoniert, und nur auf einen Wisch Papier gedeutet, wenn wir Fragen hatten. Das Frühstück (inbegriffen, obwohl laut Internetangebot nicht) war zu vergessen, […] und wirklich nur für jemanden, der schnell weg will und unterwegs richtig essen möchte. Der Pool war ungereinigt und eiskalt. Es gab einen Fitnessraum mit 5 Geräten (war aber okay und sauber). Die Zimmer sind groß, mit Küche, jedoch ohne Geschirr (auch keine Pfannen oder Töpfe). Es ist sehr neuwertig eingerichtet (mit großem LCD Fernseher und sehr vielen Kanälen) und sauber. Wäre das Personal nicht so unfreundlich, wäre das Hotel ein echter Hauptgewinn. Die Lage ist für einen Besuch in San Diego nicht so geeignet, es befindet sich recht weit weg vom Stadtzentrum. Allerdings sind in der Nähe Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Mehr

Room was dirty, smelled, refrigerator didn't work, floor was filthy. Parking was difficult if you come back after 10pm. The breakfast had expired milk and juices, long lines because of the do it yourself waffle maker. One of our friends staying at the same hotel was "solicited by another guest." Hotel was nice, Quiet, Good size king Felix room, spacious but the bed was stiff and not very comfortable. Over all good stay.

This is a decent and convenient place to stay for a relatively cheap price. The shower water goes from really hot to cold in seconds. The window heater/AC unit is quite loud. The wi-fi is fast. The neighborhood seems safe with neighboring townhouses. The place is a short drive to a lot of shopping centers and restaurants.

We will be back quite neighborhood and cool people around the complex. Easy access to freeway and not far from everything. recommended

When you can get a deal its a good place to stay...its no resort but with the right sale price, its a great place to crash for the night...we would stay there again

Hotel was adequate. Surprisingly quiet for being right beside the freeway. It was actually one of those hotels, "you get what you pay for". Cheap and convenient, but not overly pretty. So, if that is what you are looking for then go for it.

It smelled, the bathroom light did not turn on, and the kitchen sink was plugged up. The first room smelled like smoke eventhough it was non smoking. We had our room changed. Because of the environment we did not trust eating breakfast there.

The hotel elevator is a hazard waiting for something horrible to happen. The stairs r not in convenient areas. The hotel could use remodeling. The gym is not welcoming. The concierge was arguing with another customer in front of me.

This hotel is conviently located off the freeway but avoids the freeway noise. It's perfect if you plan on driving around but there is nothing interesting withing walking distance. The only thing that was a take away from the room was the smell, it smelled like someone may have smoked it it previously and the covered it with freshiner. all was very satisfactory to me with the exception that no bread was available the only the time I took advantage of the continental breakfast.. Being a suite... it did not have utensils and/or plates etc...

but if you are like us and care more for convenience and price, rather than the thread count of the sheets, this is the place to stay. It is easy to get to off the I-8, the room was huge with a full kitchen. We had a brand new flat screen mounted on the wall and lots of room for the two of us. With the hotels.com price it beat out several big chain […] hotels we have stayed out. If you are going to an event at Qualcomm, this is the place to stay. Even had a parking garage! Mehr

our first room had ants in it. they moved us to another room and it had dead ants all over the walls. on our 2nd day there the maid service never came and changed our towels or did the bedding.. it was cheap but not very clean.

My first impression of the room was alright. The room was very stuffy when I walked in, and everything looked old. Superficially it seemed to have everything, if not more than, that you would need. I will never forget lifting up the toilet cover--there, I saw a paper band saying "sanitized for you" that wrapped around the toilet seat. Ironically, when I lifted up the seat, there were so many ants crawling under the seat. It was UNBELIEVABLE. You would spot a few ants crawling here and there, in the bathtub, the hotel towels, the walls and the floor. What I did like about this place was its location. It's an "ok" hotel for the price.

Very noisy - right off I-8 .... not close to any restaurants front desk staff nice but not knowledgeable about amenities such as breakfast room Breakfast very, very limited! Nice to have a kitchenette however was not stocked with plates, glasses or frying pans to cook with

We change of room because the bed was broken. There was no room service at all, we have to go to de lobby for towels. The extractor of the bathroom didn't work. The breakfast room wasn't enough for the capacity of the hotel. We ask the receptionist to gave us back our money, but he told us that was imposible.

This was not the best hotel we've stayed in. The location was great-right off of the 8-close to Seaworld and Mission Bay. The breakfast was quite lame-cereal, muffins, juice,milk and a waffle maker which you had to stay in line for. The breakfast room was very small as well, but did have a TV. Hotel is nice & clean but can hear stomping above you. Walls are thin and when maids are rolling cleaning carts feels like it shakes room. Overall nice place no complaints just wish walls were thicker and couldn't hear outside noise as much. Stayed 4 nights so it was nice having a fridge & microwave in my room.

Graet Hotel for the Price. Easy access to #8. perfect for a weekend stay at the beach. Rooms were very Clean.

We wanted a hotel close to the SDSU campus for our daughter's graduation. The hotel is only a mile or two away from the campus....we could see the Arts building on the campus from our room. Room was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was a nice touch. As the old addage goes "you get what you pay for" and we got more than expected.

We were looking for the hotel close to SDSU, so the location is very convinient, though you have to have a car to get there. The Mission Center mall with restaurants is not far. It is located very close to freeway, so the noise is very loud if your room faces freeway. The rooms are spacious, some rooms have kitchens (bring your own utencils, refrigirator, […] microwave which is very helpful. The beds are comfortable. What I didn't like: the hotel supplies shampoons only -- no conditioners. the room air conditioner is very old and loud. the walls between rooms are very thin, you can hear everything going in the next room. the breakfast was supposed to start at 7 a.m. -- but it was not still started at 7:30 a.m. when we already had to leave. Overall, if you don't pay attention to the above mentioned notes-- is good enough to stay for couple nights. Mehr

The only reason I booked this location was to make it convenient for those providing transportation to a flute festival at the university. This location is very isolated and not convenient to anything without a car. I made the mistake of booking a smoking room..with just about everyplace having banned smoking, I wasn't even thinking about it when I […] booked. They did what they could to improve the air quality so I appreciated that. Really the only reason I wouldn't recommend this hotel was its location. Mehr

The manager was very friendly and nice, he even gave us some good restaurant suggestions. But the hotel was dirty not kept up well at all. There was two beds in the room one clearly higher than the other. The bed that was lower was like sleeping on springs. Over all my impression was dirty.

Good, clean, and affordable. We were about 15 minutes from all the downtown activities. The unexpected plus was that our room came with a kitchen, electric stove, fridge, microwave and full size sink. It was great to bring back doggy bags and heat them up later. My only complain would have to be that the breakfast staff was a lil unfriendly. Even when […] I spoke to her in spanish, she seemd like a zombie. **important note****** When using their waffle maker please use butter before you pour the batter. I was pleasantly surprised with the check-in process until I got to the room. The hotel itself is pretty old so the exterior was not a surprise and to room was clean and very comfortable. However, after a long travel day I was looking forward to a quick shower before heading out tot meet friends. To my surprise the water to the room was off. I phoned […] the front desk and was informed that the outage was to the whole hotel and was temporary. I would have appreciated a heads up since I had just been at the front desk less then 5min earlier. The next day held a new surprise. I came back to the hotel mid-day to a quick rinse off but there was not hot water. Aside from the shower issues the room was comfortable and the staff was pleasant. Positives: The room we stayed in was clean, roomy, well maintianed, and updated. The make your own waffles were good in the morning. Good location to get to Qualcomm Stadium, but not walkable. The pool and hot tub looked clean, but we did not use. Negatives: We arrived at about 7PM and could not find anyone to check in, it took about 10 minutes for […] someone to finally show up to check in. Our keycard needed to be swiped several times to work. The parking was not convient to the rooms. The layout of the hotel was poorly concieved, make sure you park in the underground garage to use the elevator. The breakfast area is not convenient, the room was dirty, they do not use real orange juice, and since they prop the door open it is very cold in the room. But the worst was the cold showers, we let the water run and even gave it time to heatup but the two showers we took in the morning were cold, NO hot water at all. I told Mgt they need a larger and newer water heater. Overall: Good value, nice room, but poor layout and cold shower. Mehr

Stayed there only one night for the Holiday Bowl. Easy to get to right off the 8. It's also very close to a trolley stop which was very convenient. The room itself was fine had a kitchen with a full-size fridge and the beds were good. Only problem was the sink water was plenty hot but the shower wouldn't get that way. The room had an odor, nothing too strong, but not quite pleasant. It was an older hotel. Could use some renovating. The location was good considering we went to Qualcomm Stadium for a game.

The king suite with kitchen was perfect for our short stay. To receive a 5 star experience, one must pay for it. This Days Inn was in the perfect location to access Qualcomm Stadium easily. Just off the freeway, but not too noisy. Maintenance requests were answered very quickly. Friendly and helpful staff; all for a great low price.

If you want a cheep place to sleep and decor does not matter this place is all right. Although my non smoking room #232 smelled of smoke my daughters room next door did not. The room was large,the bed comfortable. The decor is old mustard painted furniture with curtains that are wrinkled and not properly attached to the rods. No comfortable lounge chair. The […] very small bathroom was clean except for the sticky floor, probably just old. The towles were thin & dingy but clean. As for the breakfast, don't count on it being fast. It is in a very crowed ( on the weekend ) small hot room The juice was fake, the milk warm. The pastry container's lid handle was broken off making it unsanitary because everyone touched the muffins trying to get the dome lid off & on The tables were very wobbly. Bring your own food and use your room refrigerator. Don't forget that there are no supplies in the kitchen. Bring everything from cooking & eating utenciles to dishware and pot & pans even salt and pepper Although basicly a clean place the feeling is dingy. The surrounding area is safe but no nearby stores. Once you find it, it is easy freeway on and off, 15 to30 min. from most tourist attractions. The Red Trolly stop is a 2 min drive. In answer to the question would I recommend this to others ?? Yes BUT, only if you know what you are getting & it fits your needs. NO if you are looking for a place where you intend to spend time at your room and you want it to be attractive and refreshing. Mehr

Very two-star rated. This hotel wasn't what I had expected. Just needed a place affordable and close enough to the music venue I was headed to.

The layout wasn't great. The garage elevator was scary and the stairs were too spread out like only on 2 corners of the hotel. It was an okay hotel, just wasn't easy to get to our room from parking in the back parking lot. Room was good.

Even though we had a full kitchen in our room, we did not have the usual pots/pans/dishes/glasses/silverware at all. The lobby closes at 7pm so checking in was interesting. The air conditioner is functioning but not great and cuts off frequently. The beds were comfortable, but the bedspread was not. The room does not offer space to set up your luggage. […] Not in the room or bathroom. Counter space is limited and the shower is for little people. If you are 5 foot or under you are fine. It was clean but not a clean feeling. Multiple patchwork in the tub and surrounding floor. It was fine for a short trip and very convenient for the game at the stadium, but not a lot immediately surrounding the hotel. Did have to drive a bit for a restaurant / gas station. This was a weekend trip and my son went to the pool area because the regular elevator scared him so bad. He is 17 so it must be bad. The hot tub was extremely dirty from surrounding trees and general dirt. I'm not kidding, there was at least 3 inches of dirt and leaves in the bottom of the hot tub. Parking is interesting. There is underground again for golf cart size cars and parking in the back. If you enjoy a brisk walk with 5 pieces of luggage you are in for a treat. I want to be lazy on my trip and I want /expect an elevator to work at the hotel without causing major stress. Not here. Oh, and park early around 8pm or you are parking in the main street and the lobby is closed. Mehr

Days Inn at Mission valley is a nice hotel which has full kitchen in the rooms. This worked out well for us because we had to cook the meals for our 2 year old as he does not eat outside food. The only problem is that the hotel does not supply any cookware in the kitchen so we ended up buying a pan from a albertsons nearby. The location of the hotel […] is not too bad (9 miles from deaworld, 5 from the zoo) and it is in a quiet residential community. there are decent eating options near by too. Mehr
