Flamingo Hotel - Cozumel

no elevator pretty old fashioned but sweet

Pros: Great location just north of downtown. Easy walking distance from the ferry. Friendly and helpful staff. Good quality for the price. Cons: Poor hot water temperature and pressure in shower. Takes at least 15 minutes to warm up.

We had a super time at Flamingo. We plan on going back. We recommend this hotel to others contemplating hotel type holiday in Cozumel. This hotel is close ot everything!

Surprised at how chic and comfortable the rooms were for the price/location. Staff super nice and helpful. Relaxing place to be. Very decent breakfast options and strong drinks. Hope to stay there again on another scuba trip.

Nice hotel in Cozumel, friendly staff, especially Ivan the barman, a very relaxed atmosphere, guests were friendly as well, a good address in Cozumel. Possibility to go snorkeling from the public beach located a few hundred meters North from the hotel.

We were looking for a hotel room "outside" the big all-inclusive resorts, so that we would have the freedom to explore the island at our own leisure and not be surrounded by a crowd.. If you are looking for a 5 star, all inclusive experience, this is not the right place. Would recommend paying the 50 pesos (about $4) for the full array of breakfast menu options... totally worth it! Friendly hotel staff, beautiful and serene room with a balcony overlooking the street below. The front desk staff was only available until 3pm the (weekdays) we were there and only one person staffing it which is the reason I did not give […] this place 5 stars. Perfect place for a low maintenance couple seeking a relaxing, clean, affordable, enjoyable, and somewhat chic hotel stay in a great location about 5 blocks from the central plaza. Mehr

I spent the night at two other hotels and resorts on Cozumel and found Flamingo to be an incredible value for what you get. The rooms actually look like they do in pictures online! The interior decoration is better than any we stayed in and better than most hotels in the US. The location was quiet but close to many attractions, and the hotel bar was […] quite nice for a quick drink. The roof has a great view. A prior review online said that the beds were too firm, but while they are on the firm side of the spectrum, it was not uncomfortably firm. You don't get a pool or parking at this hotel, but a swimming beach is close enough that you dont need a pool and it is 2 blocks from streets that you can park on safely overnight. The only inconveniences we had staying here was that the water heater is not instantaneous, and sometimes the internet was flaky. However both of these are rather minor and I would highly recommend this place to a friend. Mehr

Great location, spacious and comfortable room. This is a friendly and convenient boutique hotel that is clean, has all the necessities, and has a great breakfast. You can view the ocean and the fishing boats, and are just a block away from good local restaurants. The atmosphere was relaxing and convenient. There is NO functioning jacuzzi!!! Just a picture of one on the site but no water and totally dirty and surrounded by construction. They started construction on their own hotel at 8:30 am. Uncomfortable beds and old. Linens smelled moldy. Bathroom door didn't shut. No replacement of toiletries during our stay. Bathroom window looks at a concrete wall […] (about 4 inches from window). Loud old air conditioner and creaky fan. Breakfast was okay but eggs and croissant were pretty oily and drenched in butter. Front desk not so friendy (Americans?). If I had paid a Motel 6 price it would be worth it but I thought it looked nice and bought for 3 days. I would recommend as a place to stay for one night while you look for a better deal. Restaurants are nice in the area. This hotel DOES NOT have a restaurant, only breakfast and the site said room service but I don't know what that was about. Convenient location and they do have wireless. Common areas are pretty and quiet. Mehr

Hotel is very close to town and the ferry to the mainland. Wonderful breakfast served each morning. Staff is very accommodating with providing directions and restaurant recommendations. Rooms are very clean. Great value for the price. Some issues with not having hot/warm water regularly.

No beach or pool, but within walking distance of the downtown square, shopping, bars and clubs, as well as the pier and ocean. Rooms were clean and good sized, but beds were small (standard). Staff was very helpful. Would stay again.

Plutôt apparenté à une maison d'hôtes donc le rêve absolu. Superbe emplacement : à deux pas du musée de l'île (à visiter absolument), proche du ferry en provenance de Playa del Carmen,...mais suffisamment en retrait pour être au calme...Mention spéciale à Ivan de la réception / bar pour son accueil et son sourire...

海外旅行に慣れていない私達でしたが、ホテルのフロントの方はとても親切で、ホテル全体の雰囲気にも満足できました。ソカロへ歩いて行けたのも良いと思います。一泊しかしていませんが、特に不満に思うところはありませんでした。
