Die Lage ist sehr günstig aber die Gebäude haben schon bessere Zeiten und die Zimmerböden lange keinen Schrubber mehr gesehen (klebrig und bröselig). Die Ecken im Bad sind alle angeschimmelt und Haare von den Vormietern klebten trotz täglichem Service die ganze Woche über an der Wand. Insgesamt ist die Anlage schon leicht abgewohnt, wird aber teilweise […] gerade renoviert. Preislich ist das Hotel auf der eher teuren Insel Aruba angemessen. Positiv ist der Service und die Hilfsbereitschaft der Rezeption hervorzuheben sowie die Nähe zum schönen Strand, Restaurants, Shops und Nightlife im Ort Palm Beach. Außerdem gibt es einen Shuttleservice zu einem Strand. Diesen haben wir aber nicht genutzt. Mehr

The hotel itself was fine. Definitely arange for one of the updated rooms. The hotel staff was a different story. Housekeepers were great, but front desk staff ranged from being indifferent to down right rude.

Staff was great, food was great. Room was a little out dated, coffee pot didn't work, should provide coffee in room for one night stays. shower was old. Loved how they provided us with a room to get changed to go to the airport.

Good location, a few minutes walk to the strip for food & shopping. Despite having to cross the street and walk through the Weston Hotel to get to their beach, it does offer straw huts and lounge chairs. Bring water shoes, some jagged rocks in water that you have to walk on to get past your knees. After 8 nights, I'm still not convinced this should […] have a 3 start rating. The building and the rooms need some major TLC, and most of the staff could care less if you are enjoying yourself. There is a 15% Service charge added to everything, and the bartender tried to explain to us that this was not their gratuity. This is part of their salary, and that the resort keeps a % for breakage & things. I explained that any money from my wallet, paid to him in addition to the cost of the food or drinks, is the gratuity regardless of the bogus practices of his employer. Worse, because the 15% is taken out automatically, roughly 90% of the staff does not smile or greet you, and when they see you waiting for service, they just get to you whenever they feel like it. One woman at the bar saw me waiting, the other staff member pointed at me to show her I was waiting to buy a drink, and she actually waved me off as if to say, screw him he can wait. So the man came around the bar to serve me. The staff behaves as if they are entitled to your money and not dependent on it. Therefor they don't work for it. My experience could've been better, but the service and attitudes are reprehensible. Mehr

Most unwelcoming staff. It took me 1 hour to check in as there was only one front desk clerk. The other person who was there said her shift was over and couldn't help. No one answers the front desk phone and it took me two personal visit to the front desk to get a spare bed which had been confirmed from Toronto months earlier. Not worth my money.

The outside looked OK, but the room was awful. The floors were dirty, the bathroom was very tiny with a rusted out mirror. The shower knobs were not marked and very cheaply made. The water leaked into the bathroom floor. It was a complete nightmare. When we came back for the night, the entrance to the hotel was blocked because of the bar next door--someone […] had to let us in the parking lot. We have been staying at The Mill Resort the past five years. We have met some very nice people on our visits and plan to return again next year. Very friendly people and the pool area is lovely. We like that it is small and not so crazy busy as the High Rises across the street. We just love Aruba and enjoy our time their - very relaxing for Bob & I. […] Hope to see everyone next year. The hotel was clean and the service was great. The hotel is located at the south end of the Palm Beach high rises, but is significantly cheaper than the surrounding hotels.

I found it was too expensive to what offered in terms of practical things, specially for the bathroom. The toilet, shower was old and a bit cranky. No soaps, shower cup, etc. For 275 euros for 2 nights I expected much more.

We will NEVER stay there again. We needed to stay for one night so when we checked in at noon we were told no, which was completely reasonable. Then the clerk told us they overbooked and they would find us another place. Told us to return at 3pm. When we did, we were told it would be a few minutes. At 4pm they gave us a room. Our entire day was wasted. […] While checking in, they were sending other people to the Tropicana. They were so angry. This place charged our credit cards weeks in advance with no intention of giving us what we had reserved. I think they should be taken off your list. They would be shut down if they had a dump in the USA!!!! It seemed clear to us that the staff dealt with this on a regular basis. NEVER AGAIN Mehr

This was my first time staying in ARUBA and i was here for only 3 nights so i did not need a high rise hotel. I wasn't expecting much, and to my surprise the Mill Resort delivered a wonderful experience. My room was spotless at all times, very quiet and close to everything. I really enjoyed their buffet breakfeast, a great way to start off the day, […] the wait staff was friendly but did not speak much english. The walk to the beach was less than 5 minutes. the only complaint i'd have is that the people at the front desk seemed confused, and unorganised. I loved the pool, but they had a strange and strict towel policy. Over all i got much value for my money and would be happy to refer this hotel to anyone. Mehr

Overall a decent place to stay, across the street from the Westin and other hotels. Right next to the beach. Great location, you have to have a little patience about the service as you are on island time.

We loved Aruba and plan to go back but I will not stay at this hotel ever again. We booked a king size bed but the hotel said they didn't have any. The restaurant at the hotel wasn't very good. The room was like a kitchen with a small uncomfortable bed in it. The people were nice but do not fall for this hotel. I have stayed at the Mill several times and have found it very satisfactory. This time there was no hand soap - the only soap being in a dispenser over the bathtub. There was no warm water and the phone had a flashing red light indicating there was a message. Arrived at front desk, had to wait about +15 mins while 2 front desk employees had a discussion. I was given a room with NO air conditioning - it was SO HOT. The bellhop requested it fixed and I also called and nobody came. I was soaking wet all night and had a headache the whole next day and had no sleep that night. When I tried to check out, I called […] for luggage assistance and after waiting 25 mins, called again and still nobody came. I walked to the front lobby and told them to pick up my luggage immediately before I missed my flight. They had no towels available for the pool and no explanation as to why and the lounge chairs were made of sticky nylon. they were very unfriendly and could care less that everything seemed to be an issue there!! friendly employees at the front desk and bar. had a studioroom was good only a standup mirror was missing. was there 3 times the past two years. was there this time for rest. it's a nice place. what i don't like is iguanas and they are nearby the pool.

For the price of the hotel this is a good place to stay. Don't be fooled by the outdated look of the hotel. The newly renovated rooms are spot on and extremely nice. Note: make sure ask for the renovated room when booking or at check in. The gentleman who works at the front desk is witty, friendly and always accomodating to our requests.

Check in was very slow and there were several staff behind the desk who did not even acknowledge that we had been standing in line for a very long time. Our room was in a corner of the hotel where construction was going on,it was clear that the hotel was not full and they could have put us in a better room. You could on enter the bed on one side of […] the bed or the end of the bed which was very inconvenient. The A/C kept shutting down and the room become very warm during the night forcing us to keep getting up to turn the A/C up to get it going again. Mehr

We were very pleased with this hotel. It was clean and quiet. Employees were very courteous and professional. The swimming pool was lovely - we were the only ones using it at times. Our room had a king sized bed and a jacuzzi tub that were great. The flowers on the grounds were pretty. The Mill Resort & Suites has it all.

Istayed two nights and this hotel provided me with what I needed. Bare in mind that if you book last minute on a friday that although you paid all upfront they willl require a deposit of 200 dollars. The staff was friendly. easy access to most shopping and restaurants

This hotel provided us with all we required, and a little more. Easy to get along with staff, great service, and a very clean set up! A great place at a good price. Sure it's not on the beach, but a really good place to hang for the day just to relax. (pool's nice) You get what you pay for and the Mill is well worth it!
