Well, my stay was short n sweet..Didn't really have high expectations but it definitely didn't surprise me either..The room needed a splash of 21st century, a much needed upgrade!!!

This hotel is great for the price. It is small and I was concerned about the fact that the doors open out to the parking lot and not a hallway. But the staff was very friendly and patient with my daughter (we had to borrow the key to the pool twice --since it was only April it was locked and not very clean, but the hot tub was clean and warm so she […] played in that). It was quiet and not too close to the city (private and peaceful). Several great places to eat nearby ---seafood, Mexican, and Chinese food. Chekcout was not until noon which is fabulous for people who sleep in. The room was clean, roomy, and smelled fresh. Very pleased with my stay here. Mehr

I was a little nervous with the location of this hotel. It's very convenient to the highway but the area is a little sketchy. Having lived in Houston before I knew that before booking but decided to take a chance. When I arrived I was very pleasantly surprised at the tidiness of my room. (I hate the pillows that sink flat in the middle in most hotels) And there was no outside noise. (It was a Sunday night that I stayed. Maybe Fri or Sat would be different?) At first, I was a little skeptical about the hotel because it was around 10pm when I was on my way to the hotel & I saw alot of people street walking. Overall good place to stay in my opinion. Clean room, smells nice. I did my laundry there. Right by express way and i walked to Dennys to eat food. Good value. Only negative is the lady I met was on phone entire time (a little rude) but not a big deal. I'd stay there again.

The price was right the service was great. Friendly people. Motel was off the freeway. Walking distance to restaurants.

Very Clean nice place! The workers/ owners make sure i the establishment is clean and pleasant. I come to this hotel so often that the managers allow me to check in before check in time @3pm. Not to mention that the continential breakfast selection is great!

It was a good price. The room was clean. Bed lines were dingy. The bed was not comfortable and the neighbor was scary.

the hotel was near the festival and still in houston, good hotel for the price. room was clean and service was good.

Hotel was located in a non busy area which was nice because Houston driving is insane. There we're restuarants, shopping & a movie theatre within 5 minutes. Exterior of hotel doesn't seem as nice because of the materials used to build it (stucko) but the inside was VERY clean and nice. The ONLY thing "dirty" was there was some calcium build up on the […] shower head but everything was very clean. The manager was very helpful with directions and very nice. I have stayed a few times-- will not stay here again- gave staff another chance, they are very rude!!

Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The parking is horrible, you have to park in the back with out any lighting. It appeared that homeless people were sleeping in the back parking lot. The parking lot was fenced, but some of the fence was broken.

Stayed 5 nights. It was clean, bed was confortable and office staff was polite. Continental breakfast was adequte for a quick meal-Coffee, fruit, juice, cereal and packaged sweet roll/denish. Pool was small but clean. It was a very good value for the cost.

All staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was just the basic rolls, toast and cereal with juice and coffee, but for the price and the cleanliness and the quietness it was more than worth it and we will stay there again soon.

I stayed here for several days. The hotel desk staff was very friendly and helpful. My room, the parking lot, the pool, etc was all very clean and well maintained. I felt very safe and was unsure of the area as I am from Austin and don't know my way around Houston much. The hotel is fairly good, comfortable. I found it clean enough and well maintained. The breakfast could have been better but for the price I guess it was all right. The location is excellent, not very far from any of the airports and also close to the malls etc. Overall very good for the price.

Do not get Room 116. Room above 116 very noisy-slamming doors constantly am and pm hours. Must be onsite live in personnel. Good for a quick get away - 2 days.

Hotel conveniently located off interstate, but very quiet and close to shopping centers and restaurants. New granite counter top around sink and even granite backsplash in bath tub. Equipped with microwave and fridge. Free breakfast. One suggested area for improvement: new bedsheets.

This was an inexpensive hotel with the extra ammenities we look for such as a microwave and refrigerator. they also had an onsite laundry which we didn't use but found convenient. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was filling saving us even more. My only complaint is I like the room warm even when it is 100 degrees out and housekeeping kept […] cranking the a/c so it was freezing when we got back at the end of each day. overall I was very pleased with the room / area/ convenience to houston. Would have had a better review if the bathtub was not filled with ants, and the mattress had urine stains. A well as the microwave never been checked before we checked in, there were items left in there from previous patrons. Must admit though, Andy the desk clerk was very nice

This was a good and clean hotel.

I stayed at this hotel for a week for business purposes. The room is huge and very comfortable, but the guy at the front desk is an A-hole. The location was convenient. I would stay here again.

this hotel i payed very little! it was nicer than i thought it would be! my room was very large and clean!

The room was clean and smelled nice. If you want a comfortable room for a nice price, I recommend this hotel. Eating places we liked were just down the street. The breakfast was nothing fancy but what we expected. The next time we go to Houston, we will stay in this hotel.

Think my room had beg bugs. Woke up twice with bites on my face. Room smelled like it was only recently nonsmoking. Service @ fron desk was fairly rude and unhospitable. Overall very dissatisfied.

This hotel was actually really nice for a super 8. The grounds were clean and our rooms were almost entirely spotless- there was a tiny stain on one of the walls. It was a smoking room, but there was virtually no smell of smoke- both of us are non-smokers, so we were worried, but it smelled fine. TV and everything worked fine. Our only issue with the place was that the internet was NOT high speed. It was painfully slow in our room, but the computer in the lobby area ran fine. My new wife and I enjoyed our week long stay there. The only gripes I had were the frifge in our room didn't work and the computer in the lobby needs to be updated, other than that it was really cool.

It is well located in the city but it is not the nicest place to stay in, not to mention the pool is very small and they don't have it open as they're supposed to. The tv was not working half the time, and the lady at the desk didn't speak very good English and was rather shy and not very helpful.

THIS IS A GREAT AND SAFE PLACE FOR YOUR EMPLOYEES TO STAY AND AFFORDIBLE. ITS ALWAYS SOMETHING WE WORRY ABOUT IS OUR TRUCKS GOING TO BE SAFE AND WHAT IS THE AREA LIKE. This hotel is only one block from the highway and is run by very nice people. The lobby and my room were extremely clean. It is conveniently located about 10 minutes from the Galleria and about 20 minutes from downtown. I would definitely stay there again.

Pillows were uncomfortable, felt like the stuffing in an old beanbag, the labels were torn off the phone and buttons were missing, there was no iron in the room, and no soap holder in the shower.
