Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 26. Nov. 2012Das Hotel ist sauber, ordentlich und die Mannschaft sehr freundlich. der Service war sehr gut. Was man nicht übersehen kann ist, dass das Hotel in die Jahre gekommen ist. Das ist aber auch das einzige, was ich bemängeln kann. Das Zimmer war 1a. Bad war sauber, gepflegt, aktuell eingerichtet. Das Bett, die Möbel waren einwandfrei. Das Hotel liegt in einem von Bürogebäuden (Seagate und Thomson). Restaurants sind keine in der Gegend, ABER der Hotelbus fährt täglich stündlich zum Flughafen, von dort kommt man sehr gut nach Minneapolis CBD und der Bus fährt 4x täglich zur Mall of America. Auch von dort kommt man mit Bussen einigermaßen gut nach Minneapolis CBD. Alles in allem werden ich dort wieder absteigen.

"Quality hotel for business travelers"
Overall a well run hotel with amenities targeted towards business travelers. Staff was well trained and helpful. Even though I checked in late (after midnight) staff was alert and sharp getting me checked in quickly and helping me with luggage. The hotel is designed with convention and meetings in mind so I wouldn't use it for a family vacation. Wi-Fi […] worked great through the hotel and on site dining was above average. "Major humidity problem"
This place has a major humidity problem, as in the carpet was damp throughout our 4-day, 3-night stay. I guess we should have figured that out, when the "Guest Services" included a DEhumidifier (at an extra charge) along with the rest of the normal extras like a roll-away bed or child's crib. Anyone with mold allergies should steer clear of this place. "Very special setting"
We enjoyed our stay at Oak Ridge. The staff is superb--very solicitous and willing to go the extra mile to satisy us. We took a walk around the lake every day and enjoyed some meals there which were delicious. "A beautiful getaway for a weekend or convention"
Beautiful place. The signage could have been better though. When we arrived after 11PM, we were not sure that this was, in fact, a hotel. "Lives up to advertisement"
I was not prepeared for what I found when I arrived at the Oakridge Hotel. I actually drove back out to ask directions at a filing station when I first pulled in(this was at about midnight) because this doesn't look like a hotel but is a full blown conference center. The staff were always courteous and helpful. The workout opportunities were fabulous. […] The path around the lake was beautiful and checking out a bicycle couldn't have been easier. Even though there were weddings and activities going on in the evenings I couldn't hear them once i got to my room. The room was comfortable and well kept. It sits a the edge of a lake so the surrounding area is beautiful and there is a path around the lake for walking or running. The room was comfortable although small. "Nice Facility with a Few Small Issues"
The Oak Ridge is primarily a conference center that also functions as a hotel. Some of the amenities expected in hotel are extra cost amenities. The most glaring issue was the absence of a mini refrigerator in the room. The rooms are sized for a single bed rather than two resulting in cramped quarters in room with two beds. The showerhead needed to […] be upgraded to match the quality in other equivalent facilities. Guest room as located away from the core of the facility. Be prepared for long walks from the lobby (the only entrance) to your room. The distance is an advantage when the dining room was used for special events. The level of produced by the event that could be heard in the room was reduced significantly by the distance. The exterior of the facility is beginning to show wear due to winter oxidation of masonry and concrete. The guest parking areas are located at a distance from the lobby. Valet service was not available. Our key cards for the room had to be re-coded twice during the week we stayed at Oak Ridge. The Front Desk staff was polite, professional, and responsive. Double-bed rooms are small for a family of 4. Buffet in restaurant was somewhat expensive. This hotel is suited for conferences and meetings. "Wonderful, relaxing place to get away"
My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and had a wonderfully relaxing time. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the hotel is tucked away by a lake, and there are so many options for relaxing and recreation right on the campus of the hotel.
