In der Lobby macht das Hotel einen guten Eindruck, wenn man in die oberen Etagen kommt, stellt man jedoch fest, dass es schon einige Generationen Touristen überstanden und sich an manchen Stellen Staub abgesetzt hat. Die Zimmer waren nicht schmutzig, aber ein bischen angestaubt, asiatisch eben. Wenn man über Kleinigkeiten hinwegsah, waren das Zimmer, […] Möblierung, Bett und Bad jedoch in einem akzeptablen Zustand. Kabelgebundenes Internet war im Zimmer verfügbar, WiFi in den öffentlichen Räumen. Für einen touristischen Kurzaufenthalt durchaus geeignet. Durch eine Brücke verbunden ist das Swiss Garden Resort. Wir haben es besichtigt und dabei den Unterschied festgestellt: deutlich einen Stern besser! Das Frühstücksbuffet war, wie immer in Hotels dieser Region, auf asiatischen Geschmack ausgerichtet. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel liegt zentral und einige der Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Gute und preiswerten Restaurants in der Nähe des Hotels findet man nur mit Insiderkenntnis: man überquert direkt vor dem Hotel die Straße, geht die kleine (nicht sehr ansehnliche) Gasse 50 m bis zum Ende, dann rechts und die nächste Straße gleich wieder links. Dort entlang kommt man zu guten Restaurants und Bars (im übrigen auch zum KL-Tower). Mehr

Insgesamt gut gelegnes Hotel; Chinatown lässt sich gut zu Fuß erreichen. Die Sauberkeit des Badezimmers lies jedoch zu Wünschen übrig. Unser Zimmer war im 5. OG gelegen und verfügte über einen Balkon mit Blick auf den Pool, so dass man am Abend noch schön draußen sitzen konnte. Das Frühstück war ganz okay. Liegt in de nahe von Jalan Alor ein must fuer alle die Kuala Lumpur besuchen. War schoen viele mahlen in KL, meistens in Swiss Garden.

Guter Service, freundliches Personal. Hotel ist schon ein wenig abgewohnt aber auf jeden Fall sauber. Sehr zentral gelegen. Gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück. Würde auf jeder Fall das Hotel noch ein mal besuchen.

Ein super Hotel. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr zuvorkommend. Alles sauber. Das Frühstücksbuffet übertraff meinen Erwartungen. Das Hotel liegt ein bisschen weg von den meisten Hotels ist aber denoch im Zentrum, die Monorailstation 5min entfernt. Werde das Hotel wieder wählen!

Wir waren über die überaus bemerkenswerte Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit sehr positiv überrascht. Ebenso mit dem Zimmerkomfort Hatten wir 2Wochen zuvor in einem 5-SterneHotel in K.L. übernachtet und dort nicht annähernd diese Wohlgefühl. Absolut empfehlenswert und sehr zentral gelegen.

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage, wir konnten vieles zu Fuß erreichen. Binnen Minuten waren wir bei Restaurants und Einkaufszentren. Das Hotel ist sauber, das Frühstücksbuffet war beeindruckend. Die sehr gute Lage des Hotels und das freundliche, hilfsbereite Personal, tragen dazu bei, dass der Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel sehr angenehm ist. Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und eine Renovierung der Zimmer wäre wünschenswert. Trotz des alters ist es aber sehr sauber und gepflegt.

Keine Möglichkeit, sich bei einem späten Flug die Kleidung zu wechseln. Wir mussten uns in der Toilette der Empfangshalle umziehen !

Have stayed at the Swiss Garden on a number of previous occasions. Last time they introduced payment for Wi-Fi which made me relook at local options. Yet again ended up staying here for convenience on location, price....and the internet was free again! Hotel is just 5 minutes walk from monorail station....then easy to get to sentral and all sights. […] On doorstep to bukit bintang (but on edge so quiet). 5 minute walk to Changkat and a range of bars/nightlife. Great location with many choice hotels around the area . Swimming pool was a bit small , should be considered a tub for soaking in instead .. Size is around 12-15 ft wide , 5 ft deep and it is a circular pool .. like a Jacuzzi . Really not for the olympian swimmer . Good area to be in if you are going about by coach as it is within walking distance […] to pudu raya bus terminal and the food paradise of Jalan Alor and shopping district of Sungei Wang , Bukit Bintang and Berjaya Times Square . They forgot to provide any towel in the room and imagine you have to use your cloths to dry up after shower. When I was going to check-out at 8.30am, there is only one receptionist on duty. I was feeling pretty frustrated that I don't even offer to complain. I've stayed in this hotel a few times over the last six months and there's some dis-comfort […] each time. We had booked two rooms for our family of 4 (incl. 2 kids) and had asked for connecting rooms. They did not have one when we checked in but offered a family room, which is a 1-bedroom suite converted to family room by replacing the living room sofa and center table with 2 single beds. They did tell us that the 'family room' had only 1 toilet. since […] we were there for a short break free'n'easy, it didn't matter. We did find the room a bit cramped b'cos it's not really a family room in the true sense, but managed it since it was our choice in the first place to take the family room. Other than that, we did not have any problem in the hotel. Breakfast spread is very great and food was available aplenty even at 10:15 am, which is our usual time to walk-in for breakfast. Everyone of the staff was helpful and courteous (special mention - Thai hostesses at the reception). Location close to Bukit Bintan is a big plus. Overall a very good stay for the price. Mehr

Although this is close to useful places within KL, and has modern amenities, its facilities do not match its size. The gym was tiny and poorly maintained (only one of three cardio machines tried worked), the pool and lounge area is also small, and all sunloungers and chairs were taken when we visited. I stayed here on my own and felt very safe walking to the nearby shopping Malls and China Town. The room was large and comfortable although the décor wasn't modernised I felt the hotel provided good value for money.

Greetings.my stay of 1night at Swiss GArden was overall happy and comofortable. It was during Chiense New Yr. clebrations so all was nicely decorated. we were greeted by a very frendly chinese lady dressed in oriental dress and all hote staff were friendly and nice. All help ful in taking pictures and giving information of neighbourhood, places to see […] etc. room was comfortable and spacious. I think the only minus point was not availability of a free wifi. Which sometimes can be a blessing in disguise ;) not to be hooked to gadgets. heeheee. Oh you may want to try hop on hop off bus tour of KL, its good value and easy way to goa round sight seeing. An amazing location near to monorail and 5 min walk to the KL's main shopping and restaurant district. Easy access via monorail to all the cities main tourist sites. Huge rooms, good solid breakfast, excellent location. Downside, service is mixed, some excellent helpful staff and some more abrupt non interested staff.

This hotel is definitely not a four star hotel. Lobby maybe but not the room we stayed at. It has internet access but you need a laptop to plug in the Ethernet cable as the hotel DOES NOT have WIFI at all, even if you want to pay for it. Room's carpet was dirty, phone handset cable broke off the phone and the air-conditioning system does not work in […] the second room. Will not stay there again unless it is fully renovated. Mehr

The hotel is in a good location and near two LRT stations. Jln Bukit Bintang is a few minutes away. The room is good, above average. Breakfast is great with many dishes to choose. Out of expectation since its charges doesn't match w it's service as well as room condition. With the charges I can get 4stars hotel and hv good facilities too. Carpark doesn't indicates direction of lift on d other side(end) of car park near guard post. The hotel is not far away from the downtown area (about 10 minute walking). The outlook appearance of the hotel is good. However, the inside of the hotel room is old. The room service is slow. With the price offered by the hotel, the overall rating is good and acceptable.

Overall it was good. The cleanliness is okay but the rooms do need upgrading. Should include new carpet, amenities and cleaner interiors because it shows the age of the building. The quality of service is good, the staff are friendly and accommodating. The hotel location is perfect.

The room we had reserved was not available. Front desk staff initially offered a smoking room with one king bed (non-smoking and 2 twin beds requested).Eventually staff provided upgrade to a family suite which was quite nice. The hotel restaurant is terrible. Of the three hotels I've stayed at in KL it had the worst food by far. Whilst the hotel room itself was satisfactory in terms of cleanliness and and comfort, the reception staff never seemed very helpful and were always very short and sharp. Our first impressions of them were not the best as we were hot and tired from traveling all day only to find upon check in that they didn't have the room I had requested and booked […] in advance. I was told that there was nothing they could do and it was a busy time. I was not impressed as I had booked in advance and had not just walked off the street expecting a room. Traveling with a baby, I was not happy to be put into a smoking room and I was expected to have 2 single beds, especially because my baby couldn't sleep on her own. I was not offered a cot. Instead our stay was interrupted when we, upon my insistence and not their initiative, were given another non-smoking double bed room on our 2nd night, so we had to pack all our bags and unpack again. At check in the desk staff didnt know that my American Express Card was a credit card. It went downhill from there. An old hotel thats now shabby. A good price for its location but its worth paying more and staying elsewhere.

I loved the hotel.Its convient to the train station which is an excellent service. Its the quickest and cheapest way to and from the airport.I travelled by myself as a young female and it was very safe. The staff at the hotel could not have been nicer, and more helpful. Its close -walking distance to the twin towers, all shopping malls, and the markets. […] The gym in the hotel is nice but the pool is small, but serves a purpose for the humidity to cool down.
