Gutes Hotel, in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Wallstreet , am südlichsten Ende des Broadway. Sehr nette Bedienung. Enges aber sauberes Zimmer mit zwei Kingsize-Betten.

Frühstück im Hotelrestaurant empfehlenswert, sehr nette Bedienung. Infostand für Sightseeing im Hotel sehr gut. Karten tlw. kostenfrei. Mexik. Pub +Chinarestaurant ca. 200 m entfernt. U-Bahn ca. 400m weg.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel. Das Zimmer war sauber, zweckmäßig und der Service freundlich und aufmerksam. In direkter Nähe befinden sich viele Sehenswürdigkeiten (Stock Exchange, 9/11 Memorial, Trinity Church) und man erreicht 3 verschiedene Subway-Stationen innerhalb weniger Gehminuten. Außerdem die Fähre nach LongIsland bzw. den Anleger für die Boote zur Freiheitsstatue und Elis Island. Da an der Wallstreet Abends/ Nachts nicht ganz so viel los ist, kann man - für NYC-Verhältnisse - relativ ruhig schlafen, v.a. im Vergleich mit der Gegend rund um den TimesSquare usw. Ein kleines, aber feines, familiengeführtes (so schien es) Hotel, dass wir auf alle Fälle weiterempfehlen würden!
Sowohl Tagungsteilnehmer als auch Feinschmecker werden ihre Freude am Best Western Convention Center Hotel haben. Das im Westen von Midtown Manhattan gelegene, günstige Hotel befindet sich nur einen Steinwurf vom Javits Convention Center entfernt. Auch zur Ninth Avenue sind es nur zweieinhalb Blocks. Dort wartet ein gastronomisches Erlebnis der Sonderklasse in Form internationaler Spezialitätenrestaurants darauf, entdeckt zu werden. (Ein 20 Block langes Stück der Ninth Avenue zwischen der 37. und 57. Straße strotzt nur so vor internationalen Restaurants.) In weniger als 10 Minuten erreichen Sie vom Hotel aus zu Fuß den Hudson River, von wo Sie ein schöne Aussicht genießen können und in 15 Minuten den TKTS-Verkaufsstand am Times Square, wo Sie ermäßigte Tickets für Shows am selben Tag erwerben können. Selbst der Madison Square Garden und die Penn Station sind weniger als 1,6 km entfernt. Ich würde das Hotel als zweckdienlich bezeichnen. Bewertung durchschnittlich (Für Manhatten wahrscheinlich leicht über dem Durchschnitt) Lage ist sehr gut. Lage zum Flughafen auch sehr gut. Alles in allem ein gutes Hotel.

I was searching for a cheap hotel that is close to the Time Square in Manhatten. The Best Western ist about 4 blocks away (at corner 10th Ave and 38th St.), so it took me just a few minutes to walk there. Hotel liegt nahe des Hudson, zur nächsten U-Bahn-Station (34. oder 42. Str.) jedoch ein wenig laufen erforderlich. Wenn man dann Richtung 42. Str. läuft ist man eigentlich schon in der Nähe einiger (vieler) Sehenswürdigkeiten! Haben U-Bahn-Karte daher bei 4 Tagen Aufenthalt nur an 3en genutzt. Frühstück für Deutsche Verhältnisse eher dürftig: Toast, […] 3 verschiedene Corn-Flakes-Sorten, kalte gekochte Eier, abgepackte Marmelade/Peanut-Butter, Süßes (Donuts, Muffins). Kaffee/Tee/Saft. Die Zimmer sind klein und sauber. Der Service ist gut. Der Frühstücksraum ist zum vergleich der Anzahl der Zimmer verhältnismäßig klein. Jeden Morgen großer Andrang. Preisleistungsverhältnis ist in Ordnung. Hotel ist empfehlenswert.

Ich kann dieses Hotel jedem New York Urlauber weiterempfehlen. Angefangen von der Lage (die ist wirklich top: zu Fuß in 10min. am Times Square) bis hin zu den Zimmer ist es wirklich ein empfehlenswertes Hotel wenn man nicht auf Luxus setzt. Bei der Ankunft (habe über Internet gebucht) haben sie schon auf mich gewartet. Ich bekam meine Zimmerkarten und […] los gings. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Bettwäsche und Handtücher konnte man auf Wunsch jeden tag wechseln lassen. Das Bett (Queensize) bietet ausreichend Platz für zwei Personen. Auch eine Klimanalgae war vorhanden die ich jedoch nur als Heizung nutzte. Das Frühstück war auch in Ordnung. Frisches Obst, Tee,Kaffee, Fruchsäfte sowie Toast, Bagel, Muffins, Donuts, Rührei, Cornflakes, Marmelade und Erdnussbutter wurde angeboten. Auch der Geschmack war top. Im Großen und ganzen ein Gejheimtipp wenn man nicht zu viel Wert auf Luxus legt, was meiner Meinung nach bei einem Städte nicht im Vordergrund stehen sollte. Mehr

Wir waren 10 Tage im Best Western Hotel in New York. Würde dieses Hotel sofort wieder buchen. Es liegt sehr zentral. Die Zimmer sind etwas klein jedoch genug, man schläft ja nur da. Auch das Frühstück war sehr gut. Mit Rührei, Müsli, Joghurt und Früchten eigentlich sehr reichhaltig für Amerika. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. "toll für sightseeing"
Das Hotel ist zwar schon ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, aber es ist trotzdem nett. Das Zimmer und Hotel war sehr sauber. Das Hotelpersonal war sehr bemüht und freundlich. Für Sightseeing ideale Lage. Man erreicht den Time Square in ca 10 Minuten Spaziergang.

"Sehr Gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis"
Das Hotel bietet alles was man bei einer Städtereise benötigt. Geräumiges Zimmer mit Schönem Badezimmer (Badewanne, Dusche). Alles ist sehr sauber und das Frühstück ist typisch amerikanisch. Die zentralen Strassen (Brodway, 5th Avenue) sind in nächster Nähe. Alles in allem kann ich sagen, immer wieder gern.

"Clean Hotel. Friendly Staff."
It was a clean Hotel with very helpful staff. It is the perfect spot for a weeks stay in Manhatten. The rooms were rather small but we still managed with 4 persons in one room (since we only really were in the room to sleep). The neighbourhood is quite ok even so it looks a little dirty we never once had problems or felt in anyway uncomfortable even […] at night. All in all a good hotel for a short business trip or a weeks or so visit to the Big Apple. The Best Western Convention Center in Manhatten is perfectly located for people who want to explore Manhatten and do not want to spend a lot of Money doing so. It is only a 15min stroll away from Time Square from where you will find most of the sights within another 15 min walking radius. If you do not like to walk i would strongly suggest the weekly pass for the subway. The next subway station is the Penn Station which is conveniently located on 42nd St one of the main streets of Manhatten. Mehr

This hotel was fabulous!!! The neighborhood was quiet, interesting & close to the attractions of Midtown Manhattan. The staff was friendly & helpful. The breakfast was a lovely bonus. I would highly recommend!!!

loved the service, the staff were very helpful and friendly! only fault i coulf find is its alittle outdated and could benefit from having a restaurant on site. could use some sprucing up. rooms were spotless beds were clean and comfortable. and right in the middle of everything, truly could walk everywhere. one of my best experiences to date.
This Best Western is close to Times Square and all the surrounding sights, including the Hudson River Cruise which is just a block down the street. We were very pleased with the service!

"Last resort for a hotel."
I found this hotel to be hidden for location in a street that was dark & on it's own. A bit scary at night. The rooms were small & cramped in even though l was only to sleep some room to move would of been nice. Not at all like the photo. A huge disappointment was the complimentary breakfast, the scrambled eggs were powdered and filled in the warmer […] from a plastic bag, the variety of food was poor.Some decent cutlery & plates would of been nice instead of plastic, I was't at a kids party. I was there over Christmas and no attention was given to this besides the tree in the way of festive food etc. The hotel staff were bland and boring. "Fantastic"
Great service, great location, food buffet was really good. We weren't expecting anything too great for the cheap price we paid, but it was way above expectations. Our only criticism of the hotel was that they washed our towels when we didn't want. But that's hardly a bad thing!

The hotel is located less than 5 minutes off the West Side Highway (H. Hudson PKWY). It is about a 2 minute walk to the Javits Convention Center. The staff person at the desk was extremely helpful and patient. We were there for a wedding and needed to drop off gift baskets to other people going to the wedding. The staff was very obliging and did the […] extra chore with a smile. We needed to upgrade several rooms and again the cooperatione was outstanding. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was modern and spotless. The beds were average and we slept well. It is also easy to cross town below the busiest section of town to take the Mid-Town tunnel to Brooklyn. It was a great stay. Mehr
"Right for us"
Adequate on all counts, and given its comparative low cost, i.e. comparative to other NYC hotels, it was exactly what we wanted. Key elements : comfortable beds, clean and well located for Broadway, good breakfast. If near Broadway was our aimn, we would stay there again.

We were very pleased with the hotel. The location was great - walking distance to everything. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, breakfast was good. We have been recommending this hotel to our friends. Will definately stay here again when we come to New York.

My bf and I stayed at this hotel when we were attending NY ComicCon at the Javits. The location could not have been more perfect if you were attending the event. This was a pretty nice hotel room even though it was tiny. The humongous king size bed took up all the room though, so I will say if you don't need king size DO NOT BOOK IT. The breakfast they […] offered was not really worth talking about: there was usually some type of eggs and biscuits, no meat either morning I was there ( I don't count the eggs as "meat"). There was cereal, but the bowls were super tiny. I had never seen tiny Styrofoam bowls before. Biggest con for this hotel was that there was a horse and carriage station right next to the hotel and it was seriously funky during the walk to the convention center, but that was not a big deal once you walked by it. The other possible concern was the auto body shops that were 24 hours, they were pretty loud so if you are a light sleeper it will probably bother you. That wasn't a problem for me or my bf though. This hotel was perfect for a conference at the Javits. Located less than a block from Jacob Javits Center, just a three minute walk. Granted, it isn't the greatest neighborhood in NY but it wasn't a "scary" place either. I was perfectly comfortable walking anytime, day or night. Best thing as that it's close to some good Ethiopian restaurants further up 10th Ave. The room was a bit worn, but clean. The all night taxi garage across the street was loud -- I slept with earplugs. Ask for a room away from the street. The foam mattress was a bit soft for my taste, but I got a good night's sleep.

Great stay and terrific value for money. Very helpful and friendly staff, very clean and easily 3-4 star quality for 2 star price. Simple 10-12 mins walk to Times Square and Port Authority for access to buses, subway, etc. Also less than 10 mins walk to pier for Circle Line, Water Taxi & Sea Air Space Museum. The location of the hotel was great and I also felt it was quite comfortable . . . my two main points for choosing the hotel. The free internet was an unexpected added bonus!!
"Hotel Best Western Convention Centre NY"
Just came back from a 3 day stay at the hotel. Can’t not complain really at all for the price we paid for the room. Pros Staff were great, could not do enough for us. Mike the day porter is really nice and friendly guy, gave us great advise where to shop and where to avoid. Staff arranged a stretched Limo for 8 of us to take us back to Newark airport; […] Limo was a nice treat as it worked out the same price as taking a private mini buss. Breakfast was a surprise, Scrambled eggs, hot scones, three types of serials, toast, bagels, fruit, tea, coffee, juice; this was more than I was expecting from a free breakfast. Location is not bad either, area does not look great but we had no issues at all, we were walking back at 10-11PM and felt quite safe. Walk to Times Square was 15 min max; Empire State building only 20 mins. Local shops only 2 min walk, you can buy your water, beers, snacks and avoid paying the tourist (Time Square) prices. If your vegetarian likeI me; highly recommend ‘Chipotle’ (Mexican fast food), lots of them all over and Maoz Vegetarian (best falafel I had),( 200 West 40th St NY 10018) Cons Rooms are quite small, the ones nearer the lifts are bigger than the one further away so if there are more than two of you in a room; confirm/ask to be put in one of the bigger rooms. Train track right behind the hotel, though had no issues overnight at all with noise, only approx 7AM each morning a training would go past hooting it horn. We were up early anyway ready for sightseeing so it was not an issue for us at all. Carpets could do with deep clean (not sticky just look a bit old). Would I stay again and recommend to others, Definite Yes. Mehr

"finally a great hotel.com deal in the heart of NYC"
I patiently waited until I got a great deal for less than $200 in downtown NYC. The room was not too small, not just a "bed" room. I checked for bed bugs and there were NONE! The free bagels and coffee were great, free WIFI, cable. Quiet area a short $7 cab ride from the city. I recommend this hotel.

I definitely do not recommend the hotel for the location of night is dangerous. There are about a stables of horses there is smelly and stools near the hotel. The train passes on the one hand to the 8:am and sounds the Horn in the intersections for which wakes up if one this sleeping. The breakfast is very limited.
