Days Inn Morro Bay ist eine nette Hotelanlage, die zwar an einer Durchgangsstrasse liegt, aber trotzdem für Erholung geeignet ist, denn der Strand befindet sich auf der anderen Seite der Anlage. Es handelt sich um zweistöckige Häuser in einem gepflegten Zustand , alles sehr sauber und nett. Frühstück ist o.k. (wenn man schon an amerikanische Verhältnisse gewöhnt ist und kein europäisches Frühstück erwartet) Die Lndschaft rundherum ist herrlich.

Die Holland Inn and Suites haben sich als toller Zwischenstop auf der Fahrt von San Francisco nach Los Angeles gezeigt. Die Freundlichkeit des Personals und die Sauberkeit der Zimmer zuzüglich freiem Internet haben überzeugt. Falls ich mal wieder in der Nähe sein sollte würde ich dort jederzeit wieder übernachten.

Das Hotel hat sicherlich schon bessere Zeiten erlebt,...man könnte mal an eine Renovierung denken. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis geht aber hier wegen den Nähe zu Ozean völlig in Ordnung, leider hat es auch diesen typischen Geruch (den wohl viele Hotels in der Nähe von Wasser haben). Für eine Nacht geht es aber auf jeden Fall. Frühstück war auch besser als erwartet !
Lage
Rose Garden Inn San Luis Obispo liegt in Flughafennähe in San Luis Obispo in der Nähe der folgenden Sehenswürdigkeiten: Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa und Fremont Theater. Alex G. Spanos Stadium und California Polytechnic State University befinden sich ebenfalls in der Umgebung.

"Ansprechendes Hotel in guter Lage"
Das Hotel war sehr sauber, bot alle notwendigen Funktionalitäten samt Laundry und Balkon. Es kann uneingeschränkt empfohlen werden.

Freundlicher Empfang; Zimmer & Bad mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail, hell und freundlich, sauber. Motelanlage sehr gepflegt - wie der Name schon sagt, mit vielen Rosen. Nebenan Margie´s Diner, Essen wirklich lecker, riesen Portionen, waren am nächsten Tag gleich zum Frühstück wieder dort - ein Besuch absolut empfehlenswert.

The hotel was extremely outdated. For half the price I could have stayed at a motel that would have been better. I thought staying at an 'inn' and not a chain would be pleasant, but I was wrong! No amenities, it smelled funny, for the price I definitely could have stayed in a nicer place.
"If it's this or sleeping in your car...."
I would not recommend unless you're in a really tight budget. Furniture is strictly thrift shop variety. Stains galore on floors, walls, etc. Not a crack house, but a star and a half is being optimistic.
"Horrible Service-not worth the cost"
Upon arriving at the hotel, I was greeted by a seemingly clueless young man at the front desk. He was not helpful at all. When we finally got our rooms, they were not what we had reserved-when I called downstairs to ask to get the correct rooms-the young man answered the phone "Yo". I was then told that he had given our rooms away, and couldnt help […] me any further, then he proceded to yell at me. I was very unhappy that not only did I pay extra for 3 rooms, I was told they gave my rooms away "because how was he supposed to know if I would show up?" "Adequate No Frills Motel"
This motel shows its age, but our room was clean and adequate for the price we paid. The clerk was not in when we arrived, and we had to wait 10 minutes for her to return to check us in, and there were no freshly baked cookies as the motel flyer advertises.
The only redeeming feature was that the hotel was conveniently located for our trip. The rooms were outdated. The side chair was ripped and stained. The bathtub was chipped and there was no shower head. I will not stay there again.

"Great value"
Cannot beat the value. Upon check in we were upgraded to a refurbished room. The furniture looked.like any other nice hotel. The bathroom was a bit dated but clean. For the price would definitely stay here again bot the location is a bit far from downtown. Staff was very nice and açcomodating

"Old Hotel with no special amenities"
This place is just a room to sleep (if you can) Beds where uncomfortable with flat pillows, old TV's with odd remotes controls. No coffee makers in the rooms, however; they did supply coffee at the front desk with fruits and pastries and cookies. (not all was lost). "Overwhelming bug spray smell"
Our room smelled like bug spray. Also, the heater was broken which we did not find out until we needed it in the middle of the night. When we complained in the morning they said it was scheduled for a new heater and they would move us to a new room. My question was why they would put us in that room in the first place. "Not bad at all for the price"
Since we had to book at the last minute, this was one of two hotels that was within my price range and I don't regret my choice at all. Their beds were comfortable, and they even had a microwave and a fridge, which came in handy when we ate at Margie's Diner right next door for one breakfast. Was looking for a reasonable rate a comfortable bed for a 2 nite stay. Too expensive for 2 nites even though it was summer rates. Outdated hotel with a TV without the free HBO. This hotel was over priced during the summer seasons - about double to triple the price of that in the winter. The room was large, a double queen, but smelled like bug spray. Third time staying at the Rose Garden. Always clean and comfortable. Beautiful grounds. A little surprised no breakfast was available one morning, but a great diner is next door.

We were pleasantly greeted at the front desk. We were quickly checked in. Our room was immaculate and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and will recommend this hotel to everyone we know. Thank you so much.

"Great Value!"
We were very pleased with our two day stay. The bed was very comfortable and I was delighted that they included a nice comfortable side chair with an ottoman to curl up with my a.m. coffee. They also included a microwave and a mini fridge; rare find. The pool area was also delightful. All around this inexpensive place gets a 10

The hotel was very nice & they have a gorgeous garden of roses & fuschias. It was clean and comfortable & the day manager David was extremely helpful. Hotel. com says they have an airport shuttle but that is not correct. They have a shuttle only for specific clients. We stayed at the Rose Garden during a very busy weekend in San Luis Obispo. Most other hotel/motels in the area were much more expensive or filled - so I picked this place. The hotel was good for what we paid. We had a microwave and fridge in the room. Walls were a little thin but not a big problem.
This hotel is very affordable. Rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a musty smell in the halls, but it has improved from the 1st time we stayed there. Beautiful gardens and nice pool area. A hot tub would be nice though.
It had signs saying not good for pregnant women, my wife is pregnant, this seems like something to be mentioned, it also smelled of cleaning supplies and had very thin walls. We did like it being close to margies since they didn't have a real breakfast. Its a nice hotel for the price.
It is a good to this price. It is really close to everything.. I did't use the facilities (Pool) because, It was too cold

"Expect a budget motel"
When I booked this motel, I fully expected a bare-bones, budget motel, and that is what it was. It is 1.5 stars for a reason - it is just a place to put your head at night. The walls are thin and you can hear everything that goes on in & around the motel. But again, THAT IS WHAT I EXPECTED. "Decent Hotel - Great Price"
The Rose Garden Inn at San Luis Obispo is a great hotel for the price. You can't expect the Ritz when the rate so low!! It's a bed and a shower in decent surroundings - what else do you need! I would recommend the Rose Garden to everyone!
"Cal Poly"
We stayed at this hotel because it was close to Cal Poly and it was move in weekend for our child. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and felt it was a well worth the room rate. Will stay again on next visit to San Luis Obisbo.
