Das Hotel kann man definitiv empfehlen. Das Hotel ist mitten im Zentrum gelegen und wenige Schritte vom Altstadtplatz entfernt. Vor allem für diejenigen ist empfehlenswert, die einen Kurztripp (z.B. (verlängertes) Wochenende) nach Prag machen möchten. Von hieraus kann man wunderbar die Altstadt Prags erkunden. Die Zimmer waren relativ klein, aber vollkommen […] ausreichend und sauber. Man sollte allerdings nicht vergessen, dass hier natürlich auch die meisten Touristen unterwegs sind, so dass die Preise (zB Restaurants) recht teuer sind. Wer das gleiche für bis zu einem Drittel des Preises möchte, muss sich allerdings nur wenige hundert Meter aus der Stadtmitte herausbewegen. Die vielen Touristen sind für die Übernachtung kein Problem, da die Touristenströme nicht direkt am Hotel vorbeiführen, so dass es relativ ruhig ist. Parken: das Hotel besitzt keine Stellplätze. Jedoch kann man entweder ein nahelegenes Parkhaus nutzen oder den Parkservice des Hotels in Anspruch nehmen und das Auto wird im Hilton geparkt. Mehr

Das Hotel ist super gelegen mitten in der Altstadt. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten können sehr gut zu Fuss ereicht werden, wobei auch eine Metrostation in unmittelbarer Nähe ist. Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet, sauber und in angenehmer Grösse. Das Früstücksbuffet ist umfangreich und wird auch immer wieder aufgefüllt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und […] zuvorkommend. Auch kann das Restaurant sehr empfohlen werden. Günstige Preise (zudem erhält man einen Gutschein für eine kostenlose Vorspeise beim Check-in), Essen ist sehr gut und Ambiente toll. Gleich neben im oder neben dem Hotel ist das Hard Rock Cafe. Durch die Lage unseres Zimmers wurden wir nicht durch Lärm belästigt. Haben das sogar als Positiv angesehen. Wir würden sofort wieder dieses Hotel buchen und werden es auch allen gerne weiterempfehlen. Mehr

The hotel was in a perfect situation for seeing the city. Easy to walk to see all main sites no need for transport. The staff were most pleasant and helpful. Breakfast superb.

Pleasure to stay in Hotel Rott. Staff very nice and helpful. Room and bathroom clean and very well heated. Bed comfortable. Breakfast was tasty but teabags were sometimes missing. I will recommend this hotel and next time I will stay there again.

This Hotel is in a fabulous location just off the Old Town Square. We have just returned from a five night stay there. The hotel was very clean and the staff very polite and helpful, almost everybody spoke very good English. The breakfast was outstanding with a huge range of fresh meats, cheeses, fruits, and cereals, hot foods were also available such […] as bacon, sausages, eggs and lots more too !!. The Hotel can arrange transport to and from the airport, they also arrange any tours you may require. They have the facility to change foreign currency at reception. They sent a complimentary bottle of Champagne and 2 glasses to our room, they had realized it was my partners birthday from the registration card, lovely touch !! I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Prague, either families or business users. Mehr

The hotel was in a very good position for the market just round the the corner. The hotel was clean and all the staff had good english. The breakfast had a very good choice there was something for all tastes. Everyone was very helpfull in everything no matter what we asked nothing it seemed was too much trouble.

What's not to like?! From a warm meeting at the airport by the hotel driver, to a friendly, efficient & helpful staff, I had a quiet comfortable modern room in a venue that dates from the 13th Century and right around the corner from the center of the old city. Hotel breakfast is superb, with a huge selection of meats, egg dishes, breads, fruits, sweets, […] etc...and the public Cafe Rott serves just as excellent, tasty and well-presented meals. The location is amazing for this hotel. You are directly beside Old square and all its attractions. Large hotel room with great breakfast buffet. Bathroom was also nice and large. Service from hotel staff was also great. Definitely would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is well situated in the Old Town Square. It couldn't be much nearer all the sights. Despite being so central it wasn't at all noisy. The room was very comfortable . The only disappointment was that there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. The breakfast was great.

Prior to our visit I had read some reviews and all except one were very positive re this hotel. How that one person felt able to complain about the hotel is beyond me. Everything about it was very good. Great Location- 1 block from old town square. My room was small (traveling alone) but very clean. Hotel serves great included breakfast. Free computer connection didn't always work but there is a free use computer with printer access in lobby. Attached restaurant was also good. Would highly reccomend.

You could not ask for a better location right in the mddle of Prague just off Old Town Square. In spite of its central location it was surprsing quite at night and very little noise disturbed. We also tried the restrauant and had an excellent meal. Would recomend this

The Hotel Rott is beautifully situated very near the old town square within walking distance to all of the major sites in Prague. It is in an old town residence half of which is two floors over the hard rock cafe. Our room overlooked the front desk area, was very quiet and modern, and included private bath. This was aparently made by taking an old bedroom […] and making half a bath and entry. the twin beds were therefore head to foot arranged which may not suite all travellers. There was room for our four suitcases and several chairs and a small table. As others have noted the included breakfast was super; and, they also have a restaurant attached which has a good selection at a fair price. The front desk staff very helpful with good English. They arranged our transfer to the train station for our travel to Budapest at the end of our stay. All in all the hotel Rott is a superior value. Mehr

Central, quiet location about 2 blocks from the clock. Easy acess to Charles Bridge or Wensilaus Square. Staff spoke excellent conversational English. The hotel Cafe and Dining Room provided excellent meals. The prices were the same or better then other places we tried. The last few days we simply had dinner in the resturant. Plenty of hot water, ac […] was quite and we controlled the temperature. The breakfast room was one floor below the lobby. It was tastfully redone and spacious. This hotel was fairly inexpensive (in comparison with other destinations), so our expectations were not overly high. We had also read reports of problems with the plumbing. But, we couldn't have been more wrong. It was clean, comfortable, and friendly staff (good command of English, too). The showers worked well, so not sure what the problem was supposed […] to be in that department. There was no view from the room, but since we were only there to sleep, not really an issue. Really good breakfast was part of the price as well. The hotel is literally a stone's throw from the main square, and great to do the loop around to the Bridge & the Castle. The Hotel Rott's location is great and within a short walking distance to restaurants, shops, and Old Town. The staff was was very friendly and helpful and spoke English fluently. The fact that the hotel staff offered to drive with me to the public par park , which was the cheapist parking option, to ensure I found it easily, says alot. The room was great. The location is near the best of the old city. The breakfast is average. The restaurant is also good.

In an excellent position, seconds away in one direction from the old town square and out of earshot of any noise, while only a few minutes in the opposite direction from the Charles Bridge. Could not be more conveniently located. Staff friendly and very helpful. However the hotel was let down by the standard of the bedroom. The room needed refurbishing, […] peeling paint, faded wallpaper, old tv, not what would be expected of a 4 star hotel, but the bed was comfortable and the shower was good. The central location of this cozy hotel made our Prague experience so much better. We could walk everywhere we wanted to go and when we were tired and needed to rest our weary feet, it always seemed close by. The location of this hotel can't get better at all. It is located right next to the Old Town Square, just around the corner from the Old Town Hall Tower & Astronomical Clock. The area is amazing, full of restaurants, cafes, shopping, night life, it can't get better than that. It is also just a few minutes short walk from Charles Bridge and no more than […] a 20 minutes walk from the main train station. The hotel is nice, clean, with a good bathroom and air conditioning. It was an enjoyable stay. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and they all spoke very good English. If you need to take a taxi, ask at the Front desk for the limo services, I took one to the train station and it was the same price of a regular cab. I recommend this hotel 100% and can't wait to be back in my next visit to Prague. Mehr

I was very pleased with this hotel. As a solo traveller, I loved the location, close to everything. I felt quite safe wandering around at night. There were loads of restaurants literally outside the hotel. The rooms had been renovated and were a high standard for a 3 star. I would definately stay there again.

The right location at the right price. Very good buffet breakfast included in the room rate. The hotel restaurant is very, very good. The people at the desk could not be friendlier. The room was small and clean. The bathroom was immaculate and everything worked. Air conditioning is available. Returning to Prague I would not stay anywhere else.

The hotel was clean and the front desk was helpful when needed. We loved the old fashioned double panned windows in our hotel room. The breakfast buffet and room was great and clean. The waitress there was an extremely hard worker. Aside from that there were many disappointments. Due to the location being so close to the old town square had its ups […] and downs. It was very convenient, but could be extremely loud at night. The garbage trucks and tow trucks and construction on the side street of the hotel were unbearable at times and went on all hours of the day. The hotel beds were the very worst part. They were uncomfortable and cheaply made. We stayed 2 weeks and my spouse and I slept sound maybe 2 nights. He woke up with a back ache every morning. The drain in the shower was clogged which allowed for no more than a three minute shower without overflowing the whole bathroom (I would have to turn it off to allow it to drain while washing my hair or shaving). Our neighbors also had a problem with the drain smelling and had to air out their room every day. The front desk said they knew but couldn’t do anything about it. After the 4th day or so the maid decided cleaning our room wasn’t very important. She didn’t give us new cups or take the old ones, give us new soap, vacuum, sweep the bathroom- ANYTHING! Our sheets were not touched until I literally pulled everything off and threw it in by the door! I would recommend an American hotel next time visiting Europe. Mehr

Vi var veldig fornøyd med hotellet på de aller fleste måter. Rommene var rene og ok. Badet var fint, men dusjen var ødelagt på rommet vårt (306). Frokosten var grei og personalet som jobbet der var hyggelig å serviceminded. Hotellet var sentralt, noe osm gjorde oppholdet ekstra greit.

Helhetsintrycket av detta hotell är mycket gott. Vi hade väl inte hotellets dyraste rum men lite besviken blev jag att jag inte kunde se ut. Rummen som låg högst upp i hotellet hade hög hotellstandard men inget riktigt fönster utan mer en "taklucka" med glas. Detta kunde jag dock leva med med hänsyn till läget och standarden i övrigt. Hyggelig og hjelpsomt personal, ble vist runt av hotellets pikalo ved ankomst. Vi hadde et standardrom, var ikke særdelest gode senger, men greie nok. Rommet var stort, hadde bord og to pinnestoler. Hotellet kunne med fordel satt inn 2 lenestoler som erstatning. Gulvene knirket veldig der vi hadde rom, det var veldig lytt mellom rommene og mot gangen. […] Når vi skulle på do på nattetid så så vi lysene på ganger rundt dørkarmene, forklarer vel at vi hørte alle som gikk forbi. Utover dette så var vi tilfrets, og volle nok valgt hotellet på nytt, men da med litt opgradert rom. Mehr

L'hotel si trova in un posto dove un tempo c'era una famosa ferramenta. La nostra camera non era grandissima ma pulita e accogliente in sintesi è più che buono. Anche l'annesso ristorante è di livello medio alto ma per nulla caro (come del resto non lo è Praga) La cosa più importante è che si trova nella parte centrale a due passi dalla torre dell'orologio. […] Da lì si va dappertutto! L’Hotel è in posizione eccellente: la piazza della città vecchia, Staromestské Namesti, è praticamente dietro l’angolo, a piedi poi si raggiungono velocemente quasi tutti i punti di interesse percorrendo i caratteristici vicoli lastricati. L’unica meta un po’ distante, ma nemmeno troppo per chi ama camminare, è il Castello di Praga ma è facilmente raggiungibile […] con il tram 22 (partenza dalla fermata Staromestska). Nonostante l’hotel sia praticamente adiacente all’Hard Rock Cafè le stanze sono acusticamente ben isolate. La nostra stanza, una doppia al terzo piano con veduta sulle guglie della cattedrale di Tyn, era molto spaziosa: il bagno con sanitari nuovi era anch’esso molto ampio, il letto, un queen size, molto comodo. In ogni stanza è disponibile gratuitamente la connessione ad internet (via cavo), mentre la connessione wireless è disponibile (gratuitamente) solo nella hall. In ogni caso nella hall è disponibile un Pc con stampante per navigare. La colazione sia continentale che english, a buffet, è molto abbondante e variegata: abbiamo apprezzato molto la frutta fresca ( kiwi, banane, anguria, arance,uva), i dolci artigianali… Il personale della hall è molto disponibile e cordiale: ovviamente bisogna cavarsela un po’ con l’inglese. Svantaggi La pulizia della stanza è un po’ superficiale, mentre più accurata è quella del bagno. Le tende sono un po’ troppo sottili per cui già alle sei del mattino,se è una bella giornata di sole, la luce che filtra riesce a svegliarti. Mehr

Consigliato per chi vuole visitare praga a piedi. E' centalissimo, in 10 minuti si raggiunge qualunque punto di praga. E' vicino a due fermate della metro. Spesso capitava di voler passare in albergo a prendere una giacca o a lasciare le buste con qualche souvenir, e, data la posizione e' stato molto comodo. A causa di un disguido alla doccia della […] camera ci hanno spostato in un'altra, sempre convista esterna, e per "farsi perdonare" ci hanno fatto trovare una bottiglia di prosecco nel cestino in camera. unico appunto: internet. appena arrivati ci avevano detto che il wireless in camera era gratis per 24 ore. Poi un altro receptionist ci ha detto che non era disponibile. L'internet sulla tv non funzionava. in stanza si riesce a collegarsi solo se si ha un pc tramite un cavo lan disponibile nella scrivania. l'hotel e' incantevole, la colazione abbondante, anche se non eccessivamente varia. le stanze convista esterna danno sulla piazza,ma sono perfettamente insonorizzate.
