Snow Peak Inn - Flagstaff

The hotel is in a very bad condition. I am used to cheap hotels, however this one was the worst ever! I really felt like this place makes me sick, I was thinking of spending the night in my car... Without seeing too much dirt, the holes in the towles and matress cover made me fell uncomfortable. The room was cold, the curtains dirty, the curtain rail […] was bend, some lights were broken. Touching surfaces made you feel: "I better wash my hands". The next night we stayed at a Motel 6 in Williams (20min. west): It was USD 10 cheaper per night, and so much nicer! Difference like day and night. The Motel 6 was recently remodled and exceeds all expectations. Spend the saved money at the Pizza Factory (close to the Motel 6 in Williams): They have awesome pizza. Das Motel ist sehr abgewohnt und nicht empfehlenswert. Die Handtücher waren bei Zimmerübergabe noch vom Vorgänger. Die Sauberkeit des Zimmers entsprach nicht annähernd deutschem Standart. Der Kühlschrank war mit Speiseresten vom Vorgänger noch verschmutzt. Das Abwasser (Waschbecken , WC und Wanne ) lief nur sehr langsam ab. Das Frühstück entsprach amerikanischem […] Niveau, Sitzgelegenheiten gab es keine und Ablagetische waren mit Speiseresten von den Vorgängern verklebt. Wir möchten noch erwähnen, dass wir USA-Spontanurlauber sind, also mit niedrigem Austattungsniveau im Notfall klarkommen, so lange Sauberkeit garantiert werden kann. I think they should rebuild it and try it all over again because when we walked in the room it was smelly and hot u had to trun the thermostat to 90 degrees just for the air to come on. the room was dirty the bathroom was little the quality of service was bad the manager unprofessional didn't feel comfortable or safe staying there so we left.

I got in pretty late and left the next morning before check-out. I waited at the front desk for a couple of minutes before a woman emerged from a room wearing pajama pants, looking like she just awoke from a nap. She wasn't really friendly, but not overly rude. The room was clean, but small and the walls were really thin. I could also hear the trains […] rumbling through the night. Obviously, I didn't sleep well. I am not a hotel/motel snob at all but I actually had to check out of this hotel after one night and we left around 8 am. Because the weather was nice the hotel turned off access to the heating and a/c. This meant people had their doors and windows open to their rooms to stay cool and it was weird to me to see people lying in bed or whatever they doing. […] I need to be able to control the temp in my room so that I'm comfortable. The people next door to us were outside smoking and drinking and even though our windows and door were shut, the smell of cigarettes was seeping into the room. One of the bathroom towels was ripped but still left out for us to use. The room itself is very dated and tiny - I have never stayed in a room this small. I had to wait for the front desk clerk to come up front when I was checking in and he looked as if he had just rolled out of bed and was still in his pajamas. There was nothing professional about how this place was run. I can definitely say that I will never stay here again. Mehr

When we checked in, the wifi didn't work in our room. and the TV remote didn't work. We were initially told "it's an old TV " so the remote doesn't work, and to go to the lobby for wifi. Later that evening, someone was sent to fix the remote. It wasn't until the next day that we found out there was in fact wifi in the room, and we were given the password. […] Breakfast was OJ, coffee, toast, and packaged pastry. Location was a few minutes ride into town, and within walking distance to a large grocery store. There was a small fridge in the room (no freezer), and a microwave. We choosed Snow Peak Inn because low rate - we have everything in low rate, exept location. We stayed 2 nights. Room was not refresh on second day. To refresh towels I have to go to office. Towels was very old, some of them with big holls. It was no Wi-Fi connection, but it was mention on veb side. Breacfast was simple, but nice.

For the price, this is clean, reasonably safe motel. Hardly new, hardly fancy, but what do you expect? The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the check-in was prompt (even if we woke up the clerk because we got in so late). And the heater worked like gangbusters.

The door to my room didn't close, wind was blowing through the bottom and the ether net did not connect. I needed web connection for my reports for work. The Manager said his rooms were sold out when I only saw 4 vehicles in the parking lot... he wanted to up sell to get me into another room. The attendant wasn't the friendliest and was always too busy to actually talk with us. He was on his phone the whole time and didn't do much for customer assistance. The room itself smelled of paint and a stale odor. Towels were dirty and overall not a good feeling of clean. We got what we paid for and for the short amount we stayed there it was worth […] the price. We were just making a stop in Flagstaff and really needed a quick place to stay. Im not picky about where I stay but this hotel must either have been recently remodelled or I got one of the good rooms. Nothing fancy but great value for a night.breakfast is subpar and water took a while to become hot but good value at 40 a night.

Price was very affordable, room had all I needed except coffee maker. The weather was cold and the heater is adjustable by temperature so was able to make very warm. Hotel did not look impressive from outside but room was clean and had all I needed... for the price I was satisfied and would stay again when up there.

The rooms are microscopic but for the price it really isn't bad. We didn't use the shower. Looked a little gross. Our floor had a big wet spot on it so we just shoved a towel over it. Bed was surprising clean and comfortable though

We arrive late. It should be a non-smoking room, but there are burns from ciggarette on the beding, internet plug not working, till next day, heating is not efficent, we are all very cold. even not enough covering.... We will never live here again, and had to leave early from this place.

That was the worst hotel I was ever. First of all I spent half an hour trying to find it: they changed the owner and name recently and now it called "Snow Peak". Nobody warried about letting me know this, so I had to call help service to understand this. The room was freezing cold: the door was open when I checked-in, so the temperature inside was […] the same as outside, about 30F. And the ancient AC didn't blow any hot air! The only help I got from front desk was weak elecrical heater and extra blanket, so it was still really cold in my room in the morning. There were no real breakfast available other than toasts, no WiFi as advertized, and the bathroom was in terrible condition. You'd better find other place to stay. Mehr

We had trouble finding the hotel cause it changed names. For a dog friendly hotel, there was no appropriate place for a dog to use the restroom. The door had a gap on the side and on the bottom that did not keep the snow out. There were no working outlets to charge a phone or blow dry hair. The siding in the bathroom was coming off. room was very small could hardly move around bed to get to bathroom.building must have settled as the floor sloped and chips bath tub as well as sink.We did have a nice sellection of towels as well as the soap dispenser. Walls was thin and could hear a lot from the next rooms. The refrig smell badly and their was no micro.

From 11 pm - 4 am we had to listen to a drunk women figjting with her bf and a lot of murder threats were made. Room stunk of cigarette smoke in a non smoking room. It took the Front desk manager 5hrs to finally call police all while we got no sleep.

Outside temp was around 30 but heating in room worked well and warmed up the room pretty quickly. The soap/shampoo/lotion dispensers are a great idea! They did not have any hair dryer available so we had to drive to a store to buy one:( Although they said there is no WiFi in the room, we did get some coverage, enough to check emails and maps. There is a difference between cheap and something that is of value. We chose this hotel because it advertised a good rate and clean rooms. We weren't expecting anything incredible, just a clean room to sleep in and a breakfast in the morning before we hit the road again. We were very disappointed. Our room was terrible. When we arrived all the windows […] were open, even though it was 10 at night and in the 30s outside. One of the windows would not close at all. The blankets on the bed had cigarette burns in them and the sheets were dingy. The carpet was dirty and the bathroom was in terrible condition. The breakfast in the morning was meager and disappointing. To top it all of the day after we stayed at this hotel our credit card number was stolen and used. We had over $4500 in charges. We've never had any problems with this before and can only assume that the management does not use a very secure system in processing payments (and that's the best case scenario!) We were looking for something inexpensive and with the conveniences we needed (like a refrigerator and a microwave). Yikes best describes this place. Its cheap and its clean. My room was very small but it was cheap you really can't expect allot for the price. We only stayed one night on our way through and for the price I would stay there again. The only thing was the internet is wired not wireless. But really for one night who cares.
