Ich war zum 2. Mal im Best Western East Brunswick, da es in akzeptabler Entfernung zu meinem eigentlichen Zielort liegt (in dem es keine Hotels gibt). Es liegt in einer unattraktiven Gegend an der 6-spurigen Strasse, eine Shopping Mall ist direkt gegenüber, Restaurants in der Nähe. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Zimmer groß mit Kühlschrank […] und Mikrowelle. Das Bett war sehr bequem, für meinen Geschmack und die Jahreszeit war nur die Bettdecke etwas zu dünn (ich habe allerdings nicht versucht, eine dickere oder eine Zweitdecke zu bekommen - vielleicht wäre das möglich gewesen). Der WLAN-Anschluss war sehr gut und kostenfrei. Leider war die AC sehr laut. Der Frühstücksraum ist viel zu klein, wenn viele Leute gleichzeitig frühstücken wollen. Das Frühstück selbst ist nichts besonderes, aber ausreichend (Toast, Bagels, kleine Muffins, Butter/Marmelade, Ei, Burger, Saft, ordentlicher Kaffee, Tee, Obst...); allerdings nur Plastik-/Styroporgeschirr - dafür kann man bei vollem Frühstücksraum auch alles einfach mitnehmen. Den Fitnessraum habe ich nicht genutzt. Wenn man nicht mehr braucht als ein ordentliches Zimmer und Bett ist dieses Hotel eine gute Wahl - ein Auto wäre aber angebracht. Mehr

I would not stay at this hotel again and would not recommend it to anyone. It is in dire need of updating. I discovered a condom wrapper in the nightstand drawer, toilet didn't flush well and police were outside the management office on my day of checkout! Inexpensive but not worth it!

The hallways and the room smelled like cigarette smoke. There was only one bath towel. When my husband called the front desk he was told to come and get them. The room was dreary. The mattress so lumpy and uncomfortable. The worst Hotel we ever stayed in during our sixteen years together. This place does not deserve a 1. I give it a zero.

The only thing good about this hotel is that it's right next to IHOP. The room was FILTHY and falling apart. The walls are paper thin. The person at the front desk was one of the most apathetic people I've ever encountered. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unless you really have to stay somewhere. Not worth the money.

The reason we choose this hotel was the proximity to our daughter's home. That was probably only good thing about this hotel. I wish we had changed hotels after that first night. The bed was too hard and completely uncomfortable, the a/c & heating unit was extremely loud, not allowing for a peaceful night sleep. The water pressure in the shower was […] non existent and only one of the shower head streams worked. The free breakfast was not very appetizing at all, and housekeeping even bypassed cleaning our room one day. When I called to the front desk for clean towels, they had bath towels but no wash cloths. Really?? The next time we visit our daughter in New Jersey, we will pay a bit more and make the longer drive to stay in a better quality hotel. Mehr

It was OK given what was paid for it. There were burned holes in the sheets, stains on the furniture, loose plumbing fixtures and an ashtray in what supposed to be a nonsmoking room. The good parts were that the room had a good WIFI signal, and it was close to plenty of dining choices. Not a bad place to stay if you just need a place to sleep. Easy and friendly check-in, check-out. The room was a descent size and the bed was comfortable, but the carpet could have used some professional cleaner. Don't expect much on the hot breakfast.

The hotel was everything I expected for the price. I would return. The Fitness club behind the hotel gave us 2 free days of use with our hotel key, that was great.

This is a very reasonably priced hotel. The room was clean but it needed to be maintained. The shower tub was tipped forward so that water falling along the wall would seep onto the floor. We had quite a puddle even with the shower curtain completely closed. The mattress was stained but appeared to be cleaned. Breakfast was ok. Staff was good. The price […] was excellent. Mehr

Location and costs great for our needs. final room adequate but generally needed cleaning of rugs and tile corners. Asked for "away from main road"...got front over main entry on 1st try. 2nd try ..room on back next to ice machine and electrical room...noisy and the bath sink faucet pulled out of counter . 3rd room was end unit on back..ok for one night..comfortable […] beds, micro and small frig in room. Single, male, young staff seemed uninformed and uninterested in providing welcome or listening to our requests. Mehr

Not a luxury but good hotel in front of a mall. Good breakfast for us (waffles, egg, bread, cafe, cereal,oats, fruit). They accept pets (the cost is high for the pet stay $ 20.00, compared with other hotels).

This hotel was a great deal for the price. There was nothing fancy about it. However, it was pretty clean and the complimentary breakfast was ok. Nothing to write home about, but did the job.

Our recent stay here was ok. I booked two Queen Double room. But one Bed was not good. Could see previous Guests leftovers. Lobby smelled terrible..and most difficltu part was to get into the room coz the Access keys never work.. Overall it's ok for 1-2 nights and good one for the Price. Check out process was little slow.

OK, if you are on a tight budget and in desperate need of a place to stay, only stay if you are with a group of body guards. If you are a woman travelling alone, STAY AWAY. The place was totally shady. The cops had to come to settle some sort of disturbance. I think low income people live there because there was an East Brunswick School District School […] bus that made a stop at 6:30am. Lots of other shady looking people mulling about. I was supposed to stay 2 nights but was creeped out and left after one night. Also, I heard everything going on in the room next to me. The walls were very thin. Mehr

Right across from the mall. Closest hotel to Starland Ballroom events. Denny's and IHOP restaurants within 200 feet of your room.

The check in staff was very friendly and helpful. Had a great nights sleep in a huge king bed. No complaints definitely a Good bargain.

Very clean and convenient to train station. I went here because I needed to go to the train station for work. It is close to stores and restaurants too. I rested very comfortably and had a complimentary breakfast on the go. The front desk attendants were very nice.

I stay here whenever I'm in the area. The price is great and the location can't be beat. The hotel could use an upgrade. The headboard in our room was broken and hanging off the wall. The TV worked occasionally. The shower ran out of hot water after a while. But, it's a bed and a place to shower, so it's fine.

My stay at the Best Western East Brunswick was a delightful one. The staff was pleasant, and they greeted us with a smile from the moment we got there. We requested a non smoking room, but unfortunately, a prior patron must have smoked in the room & left a strong cigarette smell in the room. I complained about it, and the staff immediately apologized […] and changed our room. I got my money's worth plus more. We will use the hotel again. Mehr

Everything was decent for the price.. only complaint is that the heater smelled like burning hair when it was turned on...and although a non-smoking room, could smell some smoky odor.. Beds wer clean and comfy...continental breakfast was decent...would stay again

Stayed here traveling on buisness, paid a great price on Hotels.com. Not fancy, but clean and comfy. Worth every penny.

this is not a five star hotel but the service from the staff is terific(very friendly and helpful) we will use this hotel when ever in the area. clean,cheap,well apointed.

This hotel had a good location. Although getting to it was a challenge considering that you couldn't cross the highway. The rooms were not the cleanest and neither was the breakfast area.

The second floor rooms were supposed to be for non smokers, however the smell of smoke was in our non smoking room. The hotel recepsionest changed our room. The breakfast is OK, but the eggs and the sausage is all frozen and they warm it up in the microwave every morning. No fresh food.

A good, inexpensive place to stay when visiting in this area of Central Jersey. Rooms were clean and hotel was very quiet in the evening. Breakfast room was small and continental breakfast was OK, but really not worth taking advantage of. Next door is an IHOP restaurant. The motel should work out a breakfast deal with them. Anyway, area diners provide […] terrific breakfasts so there is no real need to use the breakfast room. I would definitely stay here again. I arrived for breakfast at 8am-the only items available were white bread toast, sugary cereals and one dead pastry. When i asked about what else was available she stated that was all they had. Great!! I went to Denny's next door. Despite its excellent location i would not recommend this motel.

We were very satisfied with our stay at this hotel. Our only disappointment was the continental breakfast. Room was not large enough to accommodate everyone interested in eating breakfast. No hot water for tea or cocoa and I am not a coffee drinker. Staff was outstanding, very polite, helpful. I would definitely stay again.

Hotel is super close to 6 flags 2 resturants within the same parking area average hotel nothing special but clean hotel staff okay I would stay again

The free breakfast was excellent ! hot food , lots of choices ! The rugs in the hotel room were not that clean. they could have been vacuumed better . There was some dirt and hair around all the edges of the room on the carpet. other than that the room & bathroom were very clean . Very comfortable mattresses & pillows. good A/C. Needed more towels though […] . we had 5 people and only 2 towels and they were stingy about that . They allow pets which is why we went there . Overall I would go there again ! Very pleased ! It had a funny 'water' odor the 1st night we arrived. We either got used to it or it got better. Price was fitting.

Our no-smoking room smelled a little of smoke. The window did not open. There were no extra blankets. Otherwise acceptable.
