While in the Extended Stay in was quiet, going out front the highway noise next door was extremely loud. For myself my suggestions would be to point out more clearly where the snack and laundry room was, maybe with a map in the room. For what I paid, the hotel was okay. Staff was very friendly and helpful, but the hallway to my room smelled "off" and the carpets were stained. Bearable.

The facility was basic, not luxurious - clean and comfortable - easy access to major highways - perfect for the traveller who needs a place to sleep at a very reasonable rate . .

The room they gave me had a very strong cigarette smell; I called the attendant to inform her about it, she told me she didn’t smell anything and that the room was fine. I used to smoke a long time ago; I am very familiar with the smell, I was even sneezing and coughing because of the strong smell She did give me another room and even though the second […] room didn’t stink as bad as the first one it had the same scent. In addition to the cigarette smell; the environment in this place was awful, there were people in the hallway at midnight just hanging out and using the wifi (making noise)…The carpet in this hotel was also very worn down. To summarize: I am not a picky guy and I have never abandoned a hotel until now, this was the exception. I left this place; it was simply horrible. Waste of money Mehr

I was actually surprised as to how bad this place was! I read all the reviews and quite a few people said it was good so I figured that the people who gave bad reviews were just being really picky. Plus a rate of 3.2 out of 5 is not bad but I was not happy here. I got this hotel this past weekend for one night and to begin the front receptionist kept […] sucking her lip ring in and out of her mouth while she did our paperwork which is so disgusting and extremely unprofessional. Then the elevator smelled like someone had peed in it and the corridors reeked of feet, BO and curry or something. It was horrifying. The rooms however did not smell and where clean. The most annoying thing of all was the AC. It rattled all night and made the most annoying sounds which no one wants to hear especially after a night of partying ( I stayed there a night before NYE). Needless to say I will NEVER be going back or recommending this place to anyone else. I thought since it was close to a suburban area and the mall, it would be a decent enough place to stay one Night but I would definitely pay more and stay somewhere else next time. Mehr

Hotel is very dated. Creepy feeling!

When we checked in the girl who was supposed to be behind the desk as I learned, was out front smoking with a maintenance man of all things. Someone in the lobby knew who she was and pointed out front. I went to get her and she was very apologetic but at the same time, there were customers wanting to check in! Then a little later I went to the front […] desk after no one answering the phone, and there was no one around for about 20 minutes. I walked the halls thinking I might run into someone but to no avail. Finally as I was getting ready to leave, the same young girl got off the elevator pulling a cart of clean towels. Was she the only one working that day and had to do all of the duties?? This was horrible customer service but NOT her fault. It was apparent that management did not have a clue of who was on first!!!!!! Very poorly run hotel and we will not stay there or ever recommend Extended Stays to anyone that we know. If one is run this way I'm sure the entire company is run this way. Horrible experience, never again though. Get your act together. There is a reason why the Marriotts, LaQuinta's & Comfort Suites eat your lunch!! Mehr

The bed was very uncomfortable. It was too firm. I hardly slept. I was very disappointed. No pool. I will never stay at any Extended Stay again.

for the price this hotel is great. came to Austin for a wedding and stayed here. lots of good restaurants and other things very close by. the room was clean, and it's clear they spray for bugs (good thing) because there were a few dead ones in our room (bad thing). but like I said, for the price of the hotel it was a great deal.

WORST HOTEL I'VE STAYED EVER. DIRTY N NASTY. IT SHOULD HAVE NOT BEEN OPEN DURING OUR STAY, THE WHOLE PLACE LOOKD LIKE A DUMP.

The room failed to meet expectations. I have stayed here before and was shocked at the conditions. However, the staff was very friendly.

Not all is bad about this hotel. For starters, it is inexpensive. You have a large fridge & stove top - which is great if you don't want to eat out every night The location is convenient, the staff are friendly. The room was clean - just a little rundown. There was a red stain on the box spring & carpet. The blanket & comforter had holes in it. The […] bed was unstable, the pillows were awful. The telephone didn't work and my non smoking room smelled like smoke. I have stayed in Extended Stay hotels before, and will again. Just enough of what I need for business travel. Right next to the Mall which was an added plus. I unexpectedly had to bring my fur baby and there was no problem with that last minute change on my part. The entire staff was very accomodating. It's not the Four Seasons but it was priced right and comfortable. I do wish they had free internet however.

I travel for work and generally need to have easy access to and from the highway. This hotel was in a great area and pretty simple to get to once I knew where it was. The manager was very nice and managed to get me check me in early.

My brother was getting married, so we needed a room with no frills (pool, room service or anything fancy). This was suprisingly a very nice hotel! The front desk clerk was extremely nice and pleasant and the room was very clean and large. The door opened to a nice little kitchen with a 2-burner stove, microwave, refrigerator and sink (dishes and utensils […] included). Although we weren't in the room an awful lot, the hotel was relatively quiet. The only problem (and I'm not sure it was really a problem) is that housekeeping didn't come by. That may have been because we were preparing to leave for the day and when someone knocked on the door, my husband may have told them we didn't need housekeeping. Regardless, I highly recommend this hotel for a stay with no need for frills. The price makes this such a great deal!! Mehr

I rented two rooms for an over nite stay. Both were as expected for the price level. My problem was that the bath room floor in one of the two rooms was very dirty. I doubt that it had been scrubbed in months. I checked in late and when I realized the issue, the front desk had closed for the night (at 11PM). I left word at the front desk the next morning […] that the bath room needed cleaning. The clerk did not acknowledge my comment as I turned in the room key. Mehr

The stay was somewhat on par for the money spent. It is in a decent location for what we needed. There is a snack bar and laundry room for you to use. The beds were flat and hard. The pillows were about 3 inches thick. The non-smoking room smelled of smoke mixed with musk but later went away after turning on the Air Conditioner. Conveniently next to […] a bank. They have wifi for an extra charge. There was no Shampoo but two small bars of body soap. Plenty of towels; but very coarse. The kitchen was nice. Sink, dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and large fridge. They had one luggage cart so it was hard trying to track it down to move our gear. I would recommend it to others, but would also recommend that you bring a few extras... 1. Shampoo 2. Body Soap 3. Softer Towels 4. Egg Crate foam for the bed 5. Bigger/Thicker pillows 6. This room has everythiing ant the bed very comfortable. Bring your own shampoo. This is an older hotel and needs updating but the price was right.

They have very nice Kitchen and very nice King size bed and bathroom and good price.

The people at the front desk were great. We were only there to sleep. The beds were hard, the rooms were noisy, and our carpet had not been vacuumed very well. For one night it worked, but definitely would have gone somewhere else for an extended stay.

Lower your expectations, and you will be OK. Took three rooms to get a non-smoking room which didn't smell like old smoke. Hallways are dingy, ragged. Room was solid, if unadorned. Small TV - remote didn't work (even after asking for help). Hard, firm bed. No daily cleaning service (can be had for a charge). HVAC violent and noisey.
