Surprisingly quiet in room. Nice staff.

Very comfortable and affordable hotel with great 'things to do'... a little out of Downtown Deadwood but with a hotel guest shuttle every half hour it is worth the stay. Would definately stay there again!

The fire alarm went off at 5 am. I jumped out of bed and got half dress and on my way to the door it turned out to be a false alarm. There was no getting back to sleep after being woken like that. None of the staff seemed to care. Most hotels would give you a noise complaint credit or something on your room but I have been completely ignored by the […] manager. There was zero effort on their part to make it right. I wouldn't recommend staying here because if you have any issues they will probably just tell you "too bad" and take your money. Mehr

Cadillac Jack's was great - easy access to to all the sights.

The hotel is very nice -- friendly service - a little expensive but isnt everything. You do have to drive to the downtown area. I enjoyed staying at Cadillac Jacks.

We always try to stay at Cadillac Jacks if possible. Regular rates are too high, so we were happy to get these fantastic rates from Hotels.com

The hotel room was VERY comfy but the 2nd day, the cleaning lady did not change or replenish the coffee or the condiments or a few other things. The hotel also charged $25 to my card since I used a 3rd party to place the reservation. This was done without my knowledge but I had to contact the bank about some other issues and found out thi information […] via this method. Very upsetting.... Mehr

The only thing we didnt like is that there were smoking rooms on the same floor that we stayed in. The smell of smoke lingered on in the hall and made us very uncomfortable. We would like to stay there again but only if we were put on a non-smoking floor

Has a big casino on the first floor and convenient access to skiing destinations

Room was very nice! Really, rather HUGE! Unfortunately, when the maid cleaned the 1st evening I stayed, she didn't clean the tub, replace the coffee that was used or creamer package. Also, a couple of the employees (at the casino) need to learn a little customer service and how to talk and treat people. Most of the people were VERY nice, but a couple […] seemed to have an attitude... Mehr

Was so nice, wonderful beds, will try to stay here the next time we travel through the Deadwood Area!!! Great price for what we got. You won't be disappointed in your room!!!!

My room was very comfortable. I enjoyed 2 days of gaming and relaxing. Thye motel staff was very pleasant. The fact that they parked my vehicle for free was definitely a big plus.

Awesome hotel, nice pool and steam room with a pool table in the rec area. Staff was very friendly and hotel is pet friendly!

This hotel and it's staff was more than expected. It was beautiful, clean and staff was very friendly. Although not in the main part of the Deadwood strip, there was a wonderful trolley that stopped right outside the door to take you downtown. Loved the atmosphere and the food was great in the restraunt.

Other reviews mention great breakfast but you have to pay for it. Otherwise it was great!

Nice comfy beds, quiet room, quick valet service, all around friendly staff, especially the table dealers. Use the valet as the parking lot is usually packed, worth the couple bucks tip.

The hotel was very nice, but we booked a non-smoking room and were put in a smoking room which was not to our liking. The staff said non-smoking was only a request and based on availability. I was not happy about that. Otherwise, everything was good.

Our room was awesome! We had the delux 2 Q. The beds were awesome and the room was so big. Lots of mirrors, so your not fighting over who's ggetting ready 1st. Was a short walk to Main St to do some more gambling. Would deffinately recommend this hotel!

Nice pet friendly hotel. Very satisfied!

nice, met our expectations , a bit expensive . it was clean and roomy. doing my own bell boy at this price was a down side but there was no one to tip

We were a party of 4 people who traveled to Deadwood from Ireland & stayed in September 2011 for 8 nights, we booked 2 Double Queen Rooms and found everything to our satisfaction. Rooms were very clean & comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpfull. We were without our luggage for two days and the Hotel supplied us with extra toiletries, toothpaste […] & tooth bush. The food in the restaurant was very good, all in all there was a good atmosphere in this hotel and we were made feel very at home. I would have no problem in recommending this Hotel to others. Mehr

Great place, although it is not on the main strip, it was a short distance from downtown. The hotel was very clean and had just been updated a few months ago. We would definatly stay there again if we get back to Deadwood.

The room was spacious and comfortable. Everything we needed was in the room. The front desk could have been run a little better as there was only one staff working both on checking in and out and they were VERY busy, so we had some wait time. Thre resturant has a little brunch in the morning for a reasonable price. The cost of the room was excellent! […] The only thing I wondered about, was security in the hotel part of the building. The elevator comes straight off the casino floor to the rooms and I didn't notice security checking the halls during our 3 day stay. A key to the elevator might be a solution for guests Mehr

We arrived for check in only to find that the only room avilable was a smoking room. Even though we specifically booked a non smoking room. They allowed us to upgrade to a suite room for a fee. I started to use the jacuzzi tub, a couple of minutes later the person staying below us was knocking on my door and said that water was flowing though the ceiling […] into his room. I told him I would drain the tub and turn it off. A few minutes later a maintance worker called me and asked what I was doing in the room, I explained we were using the jacuzzi tub and it seemed to be leaking into the room below us, so we turned it off. I asked to speak with a manager and was told there was no one duty until the next morning. No one offered us a deal on the room or offered to comp us dinner or anything. The management at this place is a joke, no one cares. Mehr

the hotel was lovely, the room was very nicely kept, but we can't stay in a smoking room and that is what they put us in. We have asthma!! We ordered a non-smoking room and got a smoking room. It stunk and therefore our time was ruined. After spending the first nite there they said they would move us but we cleared the air with the a/c the first night. […] We wanted to be moved the first night and they said they had no rooms! Mehr

Our room was supposed to be a non-smoking room, but it stunk of smoke, and the ionizer made it worse. We were forced to sleep there the first night, until a room freed up he second night. My wife has asthma, and it was not a pleasant experience. Also, there were only four poker tables. Two were reserved for tournaments, and the third had no dealer. […] That left only one poker table, and that didn't open up till the late afternoon. It broke up two hours later when the 2 tournament tables opened up, half the players at the non-tournament game left, and the game ended. In addition to that the location of the hotel was away from the main part of town where the other casinos and eateries were. Mehr

the service and room/property were exactly what I needed and expected except no free coffee except in room or breakfast of any kind. I felt slightly cheated

Will not stay there again...nice hotel but could not get anyone to serve us anywhere in the hotel. Resturaunt service was terrible... starbucks in the hotel was terrible..waited 20 min to get coffee and still no one showed up even after asking another hotel employee to get some help.

Would like to see more of the "neighborhood", townfolk be more involved in the bringing back the old west ,but with the iron horse replaced by the four legged horse. Brought back the way H/D stands for.

Well located for traveling & near free shuttle bus. Only one restaurant/.cafe to eat at. Rooms large & comfortable.

Not a bad place, If I were in Deadwood again I would stay at the motel. The breakfast buffet was very good I recommend it.

Large rooms with comfortable beds, nice place ot stay with friendly staff. My family and I enjoyed the place.

We arrived at 12:00 and waited for our 3:00 check-in time. At 3:20 our room was still not ready with no explanation of why or when it would be ready. Then we found out they had not honored our request for a non-smoking room. We had to pay an upgrade fee to finally get into a non-smoking room. The staff had very little information about local tourist […] attractions and couldn't even give us necessary information about the trolley that stopped in front of their hotel. They pointed us to the correct door, but did not explain you had to walk down the sidewalk aways to the trolley stop. Neither did they give us the times for the stops that we later found on a trolley schedule. They did not seem to concern themselves with helping guests. Or maybe it was because they already had our non-refundable payment. The hotel is located on the outer edge of town on main street - too far to walk to the action and parking was a problem downtown. We wished we had stayed at one of the hotels toward the middle of main street. The casino was very small, but the casino staff were fun and friendly and they have $2.00 minimum bets. The room was pretty and comfortable, but only one lightbulb out of the four lamps worked. Mehr

I am very disappointed in the fact that our reservation was for a non-smoking room and we got two rooms that were smoking and the hotel would not move it. My husband is allerigec to smoke and the day was very uncomfortable. The sink in one of the rooms was broken. Overall a lousy stay.

Hadn't stayed at Cadillac Jack's for several years but it is my new favorite. Best Hotel in Deadwood.
