I would never stay at this hotel ever again! My wife and within just a few hours of checking in started calling it the "Roach Motel" look we looked at the other hotels longingly. The pool was green so we did not dare go in. The shower head did not have much pressure. The phone in the room did not work. When I went outside the Balcony to take in our […] ocean side view there were two plywood boards with rusty nails and screws sticking out of them and I barely missed stepping on them. Can you say lawsuit boys and girls? When I tried to call the front desk the phone did not work and I had to use my cell phone. The lady said big deal all the rooms had those on there balcony. She let us know that she did not care and would not remove them and told us to set them up against the wall. the bed sheets were to small for the bad and the bottom sheet was a loose sheet instead of a fitted one. Our sheets kept coming off the bed . They want your money but they don't want to be bothered once you are there. There was no one there when we went to check out so we left our card scan key laying on the front desk. There was a gentleman behind us that put his keys on the desk also also said he didn't care he was never coming back again. The traffic on the street was loud all night with honking and racing going on. the other patrons partied loudly all night long, threw their trash everywhere..it was horrid. No amount of savings is worth this.-David Mehr

Stayed 1 night. The motel appears outdated, but the room was comfortable, clean, & offered a great view of the beach from the balcony. Pros: Very reasonable price; continental breakfast; pool; close to the beach, minutes from the USS Lex & other attractions; easy access to freeways to get around Corpus Christi. Cons: Like many motels in Corpus Christi, […] you have to go up stairs to all the rooms, with no elevators. I have problems going up & down stairs, so that was a problem for me. Nothing in the info said that, but while I was there, I noted other sites just like it - rooms starting on the 2nd floor & no elevator; very dated appearances. For my 1st visit to CC, I planned to spend very little time in my motel room, so, overall, I was satisfied with my choice. Mehr

This is hands down the most dirty hotel I've ever stayed in. There was mold growing next to the vent for the air conditioning, the floors felt damp and were dirty; turning your feet black in minutes. There was old plywood on the balcony for when hurricanes come, they just didn't care to remove it. Some of the lights wouldn't come on, and the wifi doesn't […] even reach the rooms. The ONLY and I mean ONLY decent thing about this hotel is the view you get if you're in a beach front room. You are literally 3 blocks from the ocean and nothing is blocking your view from the balcony except for a few palm trees. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless they don't care about disgusting room conditions. Definitely not worth the money for it when there are hotels down the street in much better condition. Mehr

We arrived late but the hotel staff was very friendly with checking us in, the hotel is located directly by the beach so we had a wonderful view from the hotel room.

Had a great time/stay at this location for New Year's. Close enough to the USS Lexington to see all of the fireworks..Near highway with very easy access with very little outside noise.

It wasn't a great room, but luckily I didn't need to be in it except to sleep. I know it wasn't expensive, but I wish they would repaint the room. Also, the controller had trouble keeping the room a certain temperature. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, unless they got the rooms for a very good price.

So we got to the motel and checked in one room that was ready and it was pretty bad but for the price we were fine with it and then when we came back latter that night to check in around 1 AM, I open the door to the room that wasn't ready earlier and to my horror the smell was so bad (like 57 dogs peed in the corner bad) I got up and went to the van […] we had and slept there, no rest for me……….. Not the fanciest. A little run down but the sheets were clean, the a/c was cold and the shower had plenty of hot water. The bum sleeping on the beach was not the scenery that I would have liked sitting on the balcony but the convenience of the attractions close by made it worth while. if your looking to save and want convenience this is the place. This hotel looks run down and is not the fanciest of places. The sheets are super soft and the beds are comfortable and there were NO Bugs! We faced the ocean with our own balcony for next to nothing in price! I bring your own soap because theirs smells like dog shampoo! I would book there again!

Scary place, men standing on walkways, hard time getting door to lock, bedspreads mended. Cigarette burns on furniture.

it was a very good location only a five minute walk to the beach!!! The romm was clean but the bathroom was tiny :)but other than that we had a very good stay and would stay again!!

The hotel itself is a little rundown but for the price is was great since you don't stay in your room much anyway. The room was outdated but clean and the bed was VERY comfortable. The A/C was fantastic, as cold as you wanted. The pool was clean and nice. The rooms were a little smelly, but after a few minutes you don't even notice it. There was very little warm water so this made for quick showers. The rooms were very cool. The balcony was nice. Thoght I would be disappointed because we were by the pool,but it was pleasant and nicely maintained.I would recommend this hotel.

Walking distance to the beach, and reasonably priced. Covered parking.

Rooms are dirty and loud noisy uncontrollable kids running and screaming . Kids unattanded in the pool they hog the pool. the beach was full of jelly fish and could not get in the water.no ventilation in the bathroom and dirty carpet apon arrival.

Stayed only one night instead of the three nights planned.

My family and I were looking forward to a nice vacation . But we got aroom not vaccumed and no ventilation in the bathroom and we asked for a nonsmoking but it reaked of cigarettes and butt smell. There was kids that needed to be on a leash and all night long yelling and di not let anyone sleep kids were left alone inthe pool no supervision. and they […] hogged it all day . It was fine for what we needed which is just to sleep your never in your room anyways you were in walking distance from a lot of places and the beach is just across the street so all and all it was ok we had a room that every time you flushed the toilet it would screech this high pitch noise for about 2 min long LOL you have a trolley rite outside that […] will pick you up and take you down the street to the shops and aquarium. My search criteria were (1) Corpus Christi North Beach, and (2) Cheap. Knights Inn met both of these nicely. It is family run operation and the Innkeeper's family gladly accommodated all of our needs and requests. Ocean view was nice and a short walk to the city maintained beach put us in the surf. Internet wireless available, but road warriors and […] gamers will find a tad slow. Met my needs and expectations. We realize we were not staying in a 5 star restaurant but the customer service was horrible. We were told we could have a 12PM early check in and they were beyond rude and had trouble with them the entire time. We will not ever stay here again.

WE WERE THERE FOR OUR NIECES GRADUATION WE HAD NEVER STAYED IN CORPUS. WELL THE HOTEL WAS NOT WHAT WE EXPECTED THERE WAS A DIRTY TOWEL IN BACK OF THE RESTROOM DOOR. BUT OVER ALL FOR SOMETHING LIKE JUST AN OVERNIGHT STAY ITS GOOD AND CHEAP. WE DID LIKE THE VIEW OF THE BEACH WHEN WE WOKE UP IN THE MORNING. RATED FROM 1-10 I GIVE IT A 6 1/2... =)

Older facility but maintained fairly well. Extremely convenient right off highway, off beach, and walking distance to many sites, restaurants, and fairy! cute balcony w/all rooms, fridge and microwave in rooms as well as covered parking! free continental breakfast w/variety for adults and children! I paid a low price so I was pretty happy with the stay... The only bad thing I can comment on it was I saw two roach's on my two day visit... Could be a problem or just a fluke... the breakfast was cereal a few donuts and apple juice, but it was stated so I didn't care. Really nice people so that was a plus...

hotel is close to the beach which was the only positive of my 45 minute stay there, the hotel looked dingy from the outside. desk girl kept asking how i booked my reservation... after i got the keys, we went up to the room, and inspected the room. there were bugs crawling on the ceiling, fecal matter still in the toilet, and the sheets smelled moldy. […] went back downstairs and spoke with the girl again who went to see the room and called the manager. when he arrived he instructed me "not to complain because all the sheets are cleaned by the same company" and they could offer us another room. pretty sure all the other sheets smell moldy as well. between the hassle it was to just LEAVE the place and the terrible conditions, we went and stayed at the raddison down the street which was much better. do not stay here. AS we arrived to the hotel, its right off the expressway. It was close to 5-6 shops and 50 yrds from the ocean. Blackbeards reataurant and others were in the area. It was real close to the attractions listed also, within walking distance. The room was very comfortable, clean and fully stocked. Mini micro and friged gave it a nicer touch than some of […] the other hotels we've stayed at...(red roof, and comforts to name a few). Overall for a nice night/stop overnight the room was perfect. WE will definitely stay here again. Oh, the breakfast was average, danich, fruits that sort of thing. I give it a 5 outa 5. Mehr

This is not the nicest hotel, but for the price, friendly staff, & location I will return.

Office and "lobby" were tiny. Outside of building seemed in bad shape - poorly maintained. When we asked for more towels, the owner seemed very agitated. Stairs up to every room seemed to be very unstable. Rooms looked better on the inside than the building on the outside. They appeared to be very old. Sheets did seem clean, beds were adequate. Bathroom […] was tiny. Rooms did have microwaves and refrigerators. There was tremendous noise almost all night. Would not stay there again, and would not recommend it, Mehr

Perfect location with a great ocean view and short walk to the USS Lexington and Aquarium. Area was quiet when we stayed there in March. Room was clean but smelled like cigarette smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. Easy to air out though with patio door open and window on opposite side. Had microwave and small frig. Curtains and bedspreads […] looked old but were clean. Office staff was friendly and helpful. Pastries, milk and coffee provided in mornings and two kinds of cereal. No restaurant on premises but there is a Whataburger down the street and several other restaurants within walking distance. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was because it was dog friendly. It is an older building not the prettiest but it was comfortable. Nice swimming pool as well. We stayed two nights and were comfortable. Mehr

stayed two nights, the hotel was great for the price, but the one thing that really bothered me was that the blankets were dirty. We paid for two full night and the blankets were not changed. The a positve note it is across the street from the bay and we really enjoyed the fact that you could walk to anywhere you needed and that the highway entrance […] was right around the corner. Mehr

It is good hotel to just stay with an economic budget. The hotel has sea facing patios. Not very far from the beach just 5 minutes walking distance....

excellent location if you want to visit the beach or the state aquarium. convenience store at the corner for fast pickups and car gas up. hotel is old, but ok for the price.

We stayed at the Knights Inn for our day trip to Corpus. It's an older building and it needs work but you can tell they are working on it. Employees were friendly. The room and pool were clean but a little outdated. We spent most of our time on the beach and seeing the sights. Great location near the Lexington, Aquarium and several places to eat and […] gift shop. Not bad for a nights stay. Anything longer I might look elsewhere. Mehr

Very close to the beach. Room was a bit small but had big beds. Also had a great view of the beach and a good size balconey and was perfect for siting and looking at the beach! Will go again for sure!

If you want to be able to walk to the beach and the Lexington and the Aquarium and want to save some money this is the place.

Check-In was at 2 pm. I arrived at the hotel a couple of hours early and they let me check in. The hotel was very close to the beach, another plus was the balcony to chill at and the pool. The staff was friendly, the hotel were old but it was remodeled very nicely. The hotel is very close to the USS Lexington and Aquarium.
