Wir möchten immer ein Zimmer zum Hof haben und nicht eines im angrenzenden Hotelgebäude. Ich habe deshalb schon die teurere Zimmerkategorie gebucht mit 2 Betten. Aber wie letztes Mal 10 Dollar Upgrade gezahlt. Aber dafür super freundlicher Service. Super Preis Leistungsverhälltnis für San Francisco und tolle lage zu Fuß 5-10Minuten zur Fisherman-Warf. Auch parken für 12 Dollar in San Francisco ,es sind es in den meisten anderen Hotels 25-50 Dollar.Jederzeit wieder.

Das Hotel liegt in der Geary St. ein paar Blocks vom Union Square. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im zweiten Stockwerk im Mittelgang, was den großen Vorteil hat, dass man den Straßenlärm nicht mitbekommt, sondern nur den gelegentlichen Lärm den andere Gäste verursachen. Die Zimmer haben nur ein kleines Fenster mit einem wenig schönen Ausblick auf den Innenhof. Das Continental Breakfast besteht aus Kaffee, Toast m. Butter u. Marmelade, O- bzw. Apfelsaft u. einem Stück Obst. Problematisch ist die Parkplatzsituation, da gleich vor der Haustür eine Bushaltestelle ist und ansonsten i.d.R. nur Parkplätze für Kurzparker vorhanden sind. Das Hotel bietet für 30 $ p. Tag einen Valetparkservice an, d.h. es kommt jemand u. parkt das Auto irgendwo, was sehr gut funktioniert hat. Das Hotel liegt zwar in der Nähe des Unionsquare aber auch sehr dicht am Tenderloin Bezirk, den man vor allem Nachts meiden sollte. Insgesamt kann ich das Hotel vom Preis - Leistungsverhältnis weiter empfehlen!

"Cable Car und MUNI direkt vor der Tür"
Das Hotel ist wirklich im Herzen der Stadt. Vom Flughafen lässt sich das Hotel einfach mit BART (Zug) erreichen. Die Powell Station ist gerade mal 50m vom Hotel entfernt. An der BART Station startet eine der Cable Car Linien und fährt zum Fishermans Warf fährt. Alternativ kann man mit der MUNI F entlang der Market Street und der Piers zum Fishermans […] Warf gelangen. Die nächste Haltestelle ist keine 100m entfernt .Geeignet dafür ist ein mehrtages Ticket, dass man direkt bei der Cable Car Haltestelle erwerben kann (nur gegen Cash Zahlung). In unmittelbarer Nähe befinden sich viele Restaurants und Cafes. Der Union Square ist nur drei Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Neben den vielen Geschäften auf der Market findet man hier auch viele Bekannte Geschäfte. Folgende Geschäfte sind in unmittelbarer Nähe und zu Fuß erreichber: - Westfiled Mall (enthält mehrere Geschäfte) - Abercrombie & Fitch - Apple Store - Diesel - Macys (Man, Women sind zwei getrennte Gebäude) - Levis - Swarovski - GAP - etc. Ein Club / Lounge befindet sich Nachbargebäude bzw. im Keller des Gebäudes. Das Nachtleben ist also auch in unmittelbarer Nähe. Tipp: Ihr solltet ein Zimmer mit Blick zum Innenhof verlangen, dann ist es trotz der zentralen Lage ruhig. Leider haben die Hotels in San Francisco eine einfach Verglasung (zumindest die ich kennen gelernt habe), daher könnte es ansonsten im Zimmer laut sein. Zimmer in der Nähe des Zimmers 507 könnten für Langschläfer schlecht sein, da dort das Frühstück bereit gestellt wird und dementsprechend es dort sehr früh lebendig ist. Mehr

- Personal war ok jedoch etwas wortkarg - Wir erhiehlten ein Upgrade zu einer Suite, Zimmer sehr geräumig gutes Ambiente. - Zimmer war sauber. - Frühstück wird mit leicht und gesund erwähnt, besteht jedoch zu 90% aus Süssigkeiten. "Super Innenstadtlage"
Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen und das ist der große Vorteil.. Die Zimmer sind allerdings sehr einfach ausgestattet. Zum Innenhof laufen mehrere Lüftungsrohre, sodaß man das Fenster nicht öffnen kann. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für San Francisco sicherlich gut.

Günstiger als Hotels der selben Leistungsklasse, guter und kompententer Service, super Lage. Weiteres plus: angesagte Lounge/Disco die zum Hotel gehört (vergünstigter Eintritt), aber nicht störend für die die ihre Ruhe wollen. Breakfast-to-go war wie zu erwarten kein Highlight, aber für mich auch nicht wichtig. Würde wieder da hingehen.

"Gutes Hotel, gute Lage, aber tlw. nachts zu laut"
Die Lage des Hotels ist top - wenige Meter von der Market Street und der Haltestelle „Powell“ (mit Cable-Car, F-Line, Bussen, U-Bahn etc.) entfernt. Das Haus wurde kürzlich renoviert, alles ist sehr sauber. Die Zimmer verfügen über Bad (Dusche & WC), TV, Kühlschrank bzw. Minibar, Telefon, Tresor und LAN-Anschluss. Im Bereich der Rezeption ist auch W-LAN […] verfügbar (teilweise auch in den Zimmern – je nach Lage und Stockwerk). Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der derzeitige Ersatz-Frühstücksraum ist zwar etwas klein und bietet keine Sitzmöglichkeiten. Am neuen Frühstücksraum wird allerdings gebaut, welcher angeblich Juli/August d.J. eröffnet werden soll. Bis dahin nimmt man das Frühstück eben auf dem Zimmer zu sich – no big deal. Im Business-Center (3. Etage) gibt es PCs mit Internet-Zugang. Das einzige Problem während unseres Aufenthaltes stellte in den Nächten von DO-SA die laute Musik des "Club Infusion" dar (im Nachbarhaus, zum Hotel gehörig). Da halfen in dem ostseitigen Zimmer auf der 3. Etage leider auch Ohrstöpsel wenig, um einschlafen zu können. Es ist daher bei der Reservierung bzw. beim Einchecken empfehlenswert, um ein NICHT-ostseitiges Zimmer - möglichst auf der letzten Etage - zu bitten (im nordseitigen Zimmer meiner Schwester auf der 5. Etage war nachts nichts von der lauten Musik zu hören!). Mehr

no major complaints. excellent price for location. staff was friendly and helpful. room was clean and seemed recently renovated. the twin-bed room I stayed in is the size of a walk-in closet, but it was enough space for my needs and had a desk to work on. the gym consists of a few dumbells, a bench that inclines, and an eliptical machine. breakfast […] was pastries / breads / oatmeal, served in a small room with no place to sit... so I ate in my room. The room was small but decorated nicely. No air conditioning but nice breeze from open window. Staff was highly professional and courteous.

The staff was super helpful and the location was close to bus line and trolley. Only 2 complaints are size of rooms, which are probably par for course in downtown hotels and air flow in the room. We like it cooler and the rooms tended to be a bit warm and hard to cool off --

"Enjoyable Stay with an excellent location"
My experience with this hotel is a rather pleasant one. Location is the best part about the hotel. 400metres from all major transport networks and major shopping stores. Service was good. They helped me safe keep a baseball tickets one month prior my arrival, gladly helped me print my airport shuttle confirmation ticket. Housekeeper was attentive […] to details. As this is no luxury hotel, the rooms were smaller if you made that comparison. But it worked well for me and my wife. Breakfast was simple. Nothing to rave about but its good to keep you full. With regard to the noise, yes, you can hear some noise but its not earth shattering. As an advice you could try to get one room that is not facing the main street. In all, 4 stars for a good value for money hotel. Mehr

"Nice, but dodgy location"
Near the Powell Street (@ Market) Muni stop. Surrounding neighborhood varies between ritzy and dodgy. The hotel itself is nice, boutiquish, but I could see how anyone could easily get in. The hotel actually has rooms for one with single twin beds. There was a small fridge, somewhat stocked but left enough room for my things. The bed was comfortable. […] There was a large closet and nice bathroom. I had two rooms here. The first was on the 2nd floor (room 217) and the window opened onto a landing shared by other rooms. It was also across from the ice machine so the staff gladly changed it for me. My second room was on the top floor (510) and had an inside courtyard window and felt more spacious because of the design. Most of the staff are very friendly and great. The breakfast is on the 5th floor and is "grab and Go" so there's nowhere to eat except your room. They had a nice selection of danish that was in stock until the breakfast hours finished (7-9am). The neighborhood leaves a LOT to be desired if you walk two blocks in the wrong direction. I would stay here again. Mehr

The hotel is located at a very convenient place where it is accessible to good restaurants and shoppiing. The staff was very friendly and very professional. The room is small but what do you expect for the price which is great! You are rarely in the room so size didn't matter to me. The breakfast is just a continental breakfast nothing to brag about […] but convenient. Like the security of the building and access to the floors. Internet was complimentary which is a plus especially if you are combining work and leisure. All in all, the hotel is excellent for the price and I would recommend it and stay there again. Mehr

All hotel staff were excellent, friendly and did whatever they could to make the stay enjoyable. Room was average and water pressure in the shower and taps were very poor. Rooms could do with more sound proofing as close to nightlife areas. Good location - walking distance to good shopping areas and tourist areas in san francisco.

For the price and location, a good deal. I paid about 600 CAD total for a four night stay in march. Pros: location, decent condition of hotel, complimentary tea/coffee/water and a "quick" breakfast to get you going. Cons: rooms are a tad smaller than the big chain hotels. "Very Loud and only big enough for one person"
The hotel location was great, right in the heart of the Financial/Union Sq district but it is also directly on top of a night club, which is SUPER LOUD and stays open until 2 a.m. I was staying a Wednesday night for business and did not get any sleep at all. The rooms are also beyond small. i didn't mind all that much because I was only there for the […] night, but if you're planning on having more than one person per room, don't stay here. my colleague stayed there also and got a free upgrade, which involved a double bed.his words in the morning, "i forgot how small a double bed was." mine was a small twin and i could kneel on the bed and almost touch both walls with my arms stretched out. room is clean though but don't go for comfort....or sleep. "Great bang for your buck at Fusion!!"
I absolute loved this hotel. It was clean, close to everything. Public transit, which was great.. bars, great dives and upscale restaurants, shopping galore and easy to get to all the city's attractions. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the city. The rooms are small, but that's to be expected in San Fran. The rooms were clean, complimentary […] robes are provided, shower pressure was good, housekeeping was on top of their job, and the free breakfast was actually better than I thought it would be. The hotel was what I hoped it would be: extremely clean. Convenient location. The only complaint was a little noisy due to being an old building--someone above me walked around constantly and the floor was creaky. I arrived very late on a friday night. the music coming from the club on the first floor was so loud and there were so many people out on the street waiting to get into the club that I surmised that I wouldn't be able to get a good night's sleep there. Was disappointed that for what I paid basically all I got was a bed. Unfortunately the location is what I needed to celebrate my birthday but there was very little room to walk even from the bed to the bathroom.

Great location and great price. Rooms come with hair shampoo, hair conditioner, body lotion, and bar soap, hair dryers, safes, irons and ironing boards. Writing desk, mini bar refrigerator, with very reasonable prices on the mini bar items. Breakfast contained rolls and muffins, oatmeal, apples and oranges, 2 juices, coffee and tea, nothing special […] but nice to have available. Very limited hours, the breakfast is served from only 7-9 am, and you must bring it back to your room on a tray as its not served in a place with tables and chairs. The workout room is not much of anything, a bike, a treadmill, a set of free weights with a bench. and a sit up bench. Better than nothing, but nothing to write home about. The only downside is there is a nightclub in the building, and you can hear the loud music at night - thankfully I was too tired every night from my day of sightseeing to be bothered by the noise, but those more sensitive to noises at night might want to beware. Will absolutely stay here again for the price! Walgreens, Starbucks, and numerous restaurants, from diners to 5 star places, all within 2 blocks, and the BART to the airport is 1 block away. Mehr

"I recommend it"
The hotel is perfectly located, close to the BART, to the Tourism Office... It's quite easy to reach any place walking from there. The rooms are quite clean. I had an ice machine in from of my door and it was a little bit noisy, but nothing important. The breakfast is limited but perfect for a short time there. "Good for money"
The room was very small...there was only room for a twin bed. The bathroom was decent size though. The hotel was pretty inexpensive, so I thought it was decent for what I paid. Location was perfect...near the BART, trolley & metro stops.

Great location staff is great homey atmosphere great staff clean as whistle and kept that way. Not fancy Breakfast is juice coffee and all kinds of danish and other junk that is not good for you. You can get away with some fruit coffee and juice OK. "Good location, value"
very impressed with this hotel with one exception. cleaning staff knocked on door and abruptly entered one evening, after room had been cleaned earlier in the day. not sure what that was all about, so my recommendation is to use your dead bolt.
"Noisy Pipes"
There was a loud, inconsistent buzzing in the radiator system that kept me awake all night. My single room resembled a small dorm room, with a twin bed and pilled sheets. That said, staff is friendly, the hotel is neat and clean and it has great location near the Powell Street BART and is just a couple of blocks from Union Square.

Staff was very helpful & friendly......I appreciated the nutritional oatmeal & fruit included for breakfast, which saved me money. The room was a little small for my 2 week stay, but very clean. Plenty of places to eat & see in walking distance.....even a great live jazz restaurant 2 blocks away on Ellis St.

My second stay here for New Years Eve. Last year, much nicer....Now, unfriendly and uncaring desk, not accomodating...broken elevator...very small room. When trying to get size bed in order, I was told that I could cancel and make OTHER arrangements--Like THAT is possible on New Years Eve! Kinda smart aleck comment and not what you want when requiring […] service. VERY Close to gangland area of tenderloin--sirens all night and dangerous streets. I would not stay here with my girlfriend for safety reasons. My last time staying with Hotel Fusion. Mehr
