Holiday Inn I 78 Lehigh Valley - Allentown

Quick, friendly service at check in and during my stay. Bar/restaurant was very lively that night but the service crew kept up with it. Rooms are fine, nothing real fancy. Only negative is, at least when I was there, was only one person waiting tables at breakfast so no one was there to greet me or get coffee right away. I sat myself and found my own […] coffee. Mehr

It is clean and very convenient. Hotel is close to Dorney park. It is in a good neighborhood. Restaurants walking distance from the hotel. The pool was really nice.

The family and I did like our visit her at this hotel for the week we did stay... As every hotel there are goods and bads. The Goods are the rooms are big and very clean the employs were very helpfull in many ways. A Dislike was the swimming pool area really stunk up something bad not really knowing what is either the water or something but it made […] alot of people to stay away from the pool area, as for the Hot Tub.... It was not working until the last day we spent at the hotel pool area which I do enjoy the hot tub so that was a BIG dissapointment to me personal. We didn't eat at the hotel but there were many restaurants locals all over the strip. Mehr

We stayed here because our child was playing in a local tournament and the team travel parent booked the hotel. Our room was fine, a bit small, basic but adequate. We were all in a block on the main floor (chosen ahead of time to save money.) The service was very good. We needed some things from housekeeping, and although they didn't answer the phone, […] the front desk relayed the message and someone was at our door in 5 minutes. The bar/restaurant staff was very good service-wise. The staff were friendly, beer mugs were chilled, free popcorn/chips offered etc. There was a wedding at the hotel while we were there. People seemed pleased with the food and service. The pool is small nice, and there is an outdoor courtyard patio with umbrellas. Pleasant place to sit and have a drink. Mehr

Had occasion to stay here twice in the past few weeks and would recommend this hotel. I travel extensively and had to use the Holiday Inn for business. The staff, particularly the two Jennifers that ran the front desk, were very polite and professional despite a few curve balls sent their way. The rooms were well appointed and cared for. I plan to use […] this hotel again. There were two things the hotel might consider in the future. To get to our room on the second floor we had to walk right through a wedding reception that was being held in their wide corridor. There may have been a more circuitous path, but not according to hotel staff. Also, my room faced the swimming pool area. Waking up to screaming children before 9am on a Sunday morning probably didn't make many of their guests happy. Otherwise, a solid recommendation for business or pleasure. Mehr

Excellent hotel! We arrived on Friday evening to learn about a S'more's dan game night for families. What a treat for our children! Accommodations were exquisite - beyond the typical and consistently nice offerings. Big screen TV in room with plush bedding and many pillows. Such a pleasant surprise!

The room was perfect, we were able to check in to the room early. Parking was a little bit of an issue, being 7 months pregnant and having to park to far away was an issue for me. Other than that it was great. I will deffinatly stay here again.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Leigh Valley for Memorial Day weekend /my birthday weekend. My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The service was great, the room was absolutely wonderful, clean and very comfortable. When visiting we will stay here again.

hotel staff was friendly, hotel was very nice, rooms were stylish and clean. Restaurant looked deserted but served a gourmet menu that was delicious. also had a pub with game room and 4 banquet rooms for parties. only complaint was ice machine was empty.

Our stay was a nightmare from beginning to end. When we arrived, the lobby was crowded, extremely noisy, cigarette smoke-filled. We could not hear the person at the front desk over the noise. The second bed in our room had dirty sheets on it. We requested clean ones. The person who delived them, almost half an hour later, was extremely rude. We had […] to keep the AC on high to filter out the noise from outside the room. Breakfast was the worst we have ever had and the most expensive, considering the choices. We have never had coffee so bad in our lives. We had to go elsewhere to get edible food and coffee. The service was totally incompetent. Mehr
