Gutes Hotel, in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Wallstreet , am südlichsten Ende des Broadway. Sehr nette Bedienung. Enges aber sauberes Zimmer mit zwei Kingsize-Betten.

Großes Zimmer, gute Betten. Bei Zimmern nach hinten raus kann man bei offenem Fenster schlafen. Internet fürs Zimmer zu teuer. Im Bad leichter Renovierungsstau. Frühstück im Hotelrestaurant empfehlenswert, sehr nette Bedienung. Infostand für Sightseeing im Hotel sehr gut. Karten tlw. kostenfrei. Mexik. Pub +Chinarestaurant ca. 200 m entfernt. U-Bahn ca. 400m weg.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel. Das Zimmer war sauber, zweckmäßig und der Service freundlich und aufmerksam. In direkter Nähe befinden sich viele Sehenswürdigkeiten (Stock Exchange, 9/11 Memorial, Trinity Church) und man erreicht 3 verschiedene Subway-Stationen innerhalb weniger Gehminuten. Außerdem die Fähre nach LongIsland bzw. den Anleger für die Boote zur Freiheitsstatue und Elis Island. Da an der Wallstreet Abends/ Nachts nicht ganz so viel los ist, kann man - für NYC-Verhältnisse - relativ ruhig schlafen, v.a. im Vergleich mit der Gegend rund um den TimesSquare usw. Ein kleines, aber feines, familiengeführtes (so schien es) Hotel, dass wir auf alle Fälle weiterempfehlen würden!

Das Frühstück war super! Am Nachmittag gabs noch gratis Kekse. Im Zimmer war überraschenderweise eine Whirlpoolbadewanne! Nachteil war allerdings, dass es zwischen Bad und Zimmer nur eine aufschiebbare Trennwand gab, so dass man vom Whirlpool aus zwar hätte fernsehen können, aber es auch ziemlich wenig Bad-Privatsphäre gab...

"Best Western City Few - abseits, gut und günstig"
Das Hotel liegt etwa 20 Gehminuten von der Subwaystation , das Hotel bietet jeddoch tgl. 1x einen kostenlosen Shuttle - Service an. Die Lage gegenüber eines großen Friedhofes sorgt für nächtliche Ruhe. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und stets sauber hergerichtet. Das Bett bot ausgezeichneten Liegekomfort. Microwelle Kühlschrank, Kaffeekocher und Wassererhitzer […] sorgten für zusätzlichen Komfort. Ei großes vollausgestattetes Bad rundete das Angebot ab. Ein für Amerika umfangreiches Frühstück wurde ebenfalls angeboten. Das Hotel selber ist schon älteren Jahrganges und macht von außen keinen so guten Eindruck. Die Hilfsbereitschaft und der Service der Mitarbeiter macht dieses Manco aber wieder wett. Mehr
"New York Starterpunkt"
Das Hotel bietet alles,was man für eine NY Erkundung benötigt. Der Service war in Ordnung, der Shuttle ohne Beanstandungen, die Zimmer für diese Klasse und Preis OK. Das Frühstück ebenfalls, einziger Wermutstropfen - es gab nur Plastikgeschirr. Ansonsten immer wieder.
"Super Hotel - günstige Lage"
Ich war für 8 Tage in diesem Hotel und kann es nur weiter empfehlen. Das Hotelpersonal ist wirklich nett und hilfsbereit. Egal welche Fragen bzw. Probleme wir hatten wurde uns immer geholfen. Die Zimmer in diesem Hotel sind extrem groß (wo anderst hätte man vermutlich zwei Zimmer daraus gemacht) und nett eingerichtet. Was die Sauberkeit an geht, kann […] man sich in diesem Hotel auch nicht beschweren. Das Frühstück ist für amerikanische Verhältnisse sehr gut. Man sollte nur nicht den Fehler machen und ein "deutsches" Frühstücksbuffet erwarten. Die Lage des Hotels ist etwas außerhalb, was jedoch kein wirklicher Nachteil ist, da die nächste U-Bahnstation nur ca. 10 Min. entfernt liegt (zu Fuss). Da der Fussweg größtenteils durch ein Wohnviertel verläuft, fühlten wir selbst Nachts sicher. Außerdem bietet das Hotel einen kostenlosen Shuttleservice zur U-Bahn und zurück an. (wann immer man möchte). Die Fahrzeit mit der U-Bahn zum Time Square beträgt ca. 10 Min. Was die Umgebung betrifft liegt das Hotel selbst an einer Hauptstraße. Wobei jedoch kein Verkehrslärm im Hotel bzw. den Zimmern hörbar ist. Auf dem Weg zur U-Bahn sowie in der Umgebung der U-Bahn Station befinden sich außerdem einige Lokale,welche sowohl geschmacklich als auch preislich zu empfehlen sind. Mehr

No complaints, I checked in at 2 am and slept until check out at 12.
"Safe, Convenient"
I walked to the hotel every night from the subway stop at 10pm or later. Never felt nervous. Safe quiet neighborhood convenient to Manhattan. Our beds were way too soft to my liking, but others may like them. Only one "shuttle" trip allowed per day (really a black car service), but it picks you up across the street from the subway and drops you off […] at the hotel. Limit of 4 max per car, though they prefer 3. The breakfast was very good, but the staff had a hard time keeping up. Get down there early before the donuts and bagels run out. "Good Quality at a Descent Price"
Hotels was in a great location not too far from the city. Beds were comfortable and the room was very spacious. The bathrooms could use updating but manageable. Its best not to get a room near the elevator because it tends to be very noisy at times.

"Not Bad"
I stayed here for one night while in town for business. I enjoyed my stay. It's a 10-15 minute walk to the nearest subway station. The neighborhood is incredibly diverse and seemed relatively safe. My room had a nice view of Long Island City and the Midtown skyline. There was free internet and parking for those who need it. Computers are available, […] but only in 20 minute sessions and sometimes the internet on these public computers was down. Interestingly, the building was once a public school, and some features of this are still visible. The free breakfast was decent. The cleaning staff was very nice, but the front desk was a little less nice. Overall, I had an enjoyable stay. Mehr
"Any port in a storm......."
The location was very convenient to my work which ranged from lower Manhattan to Brooklyn & LIC. The room had trash left over from a previous occupant and looked liked it had been a month or two since it was last vacumed. The elevator was not in service on arrival as a television production had taken over the hotel as a shooting location creating limited […] access and congestion of the street, parking lot, lobby, etc. with operating staff and equipment. The hotel called on the third day of my stay to inform me they were without water. Fortunately the city was able to correct this problem and restored service in a couple of hours. There was a couple who decided to stand outside my door 9pm arguing about their lovelife for about 45 min until I asked them to move on. The following morning the hall outside my door was filled with a pungent aroma reminiscent of my days in Amsterdam. I left for work at 6am and stopped to try the continental breakfast. The bagels were stale and the coffee was drinkable. I'll probably stay there again if the price is right and I run out of alternative options. Mehr

Its close to the city but the closest train is about a mile away. So if your not renting a car dont stay here. Its a good bang for the buck being so close to the city, the neiborhood is desolate and there isnt anything in walking distance. I would only reccomond if your not looking to stay in the room most of your stay and more importantly if you rent […] a car or plan on spending on taxi's. It is pretty clean, but the place looks old. Nice place, good parking, the only thing the room stunk like cigarettes....it is what is....I've satyed at worst places..o verall we would definetly stay there again
"Clean and convenient"
It's a great place to stay in NY for the price. Very comfortable, and conveniently located if you have a vehicle. It's right off the Queensboro bridge. I'd definitely stay there again.

"Never again"
The hotel staff was incompetent. While we stayed there the staff on duty gave a somebody a copy of our room key and we found him sleeping when we got back to the room. The "gym" advertised consisted of a treadmill, a bike and a stair master. The only good thing about our stay was the continental breakfast.

when we arrived to the hotel there was no parking finally we found a spot very cramped . when walking to front desk we were not greeted properly the assistant was rude to my wife its was insulting we drove from our home to queens for a nice romantic night together and all we received was the run around and incompetence from the staff ......we probably […] will never return Mehr
"Wet, Mold Stain"
The price no doubt was good, the room that we stayed in was not up to par. We made reservations for 2 beds and got to the hotel and was only able to get one bed because they sold out of the other. From the ceiling down was a diagonal shaped wall and at the top it had leaked and the mildew stain was still there; down the edge of the wall was also wet […] like stains; underneath the wood platform that was also a dresser there was a large hole and there was a trash can afixed within the hole to catch leaking water. This room however, was on the highest floor the hotel has. The bathroom had specks of mildew around the bathtub. The fan in the bathroom is not strong enough, it's extremely light air to no air. The room smelled of staleness. The towels are stained. If you take the 7 train, it's about a good 20 minute walk to the hotel. Each day you're there if you need a ride to the subway, the hotel provides a shuttle with the exception for when you check out, there is no shuttle ride to the subway. They have a good breakfast. "The best western city view"
I was please with the service and there is pub which has a restuarant that is right on the corner of the hotel! They took care of you and showed you respect. When you leave out or come in they always had a smile on their face. I was very happy that everytime I come to New york I will reserve a room. I will tell my friends about it.
"Jacuzzi room?"
I reserved a room with a jacuzzi thinking it would be exactly that. When I arrived to the room it ended up being a 2 person jacuzzi tub. If you're going to have a jacuzzi room offer a full jacuzzi in the room, not a tub. That was disappointing.
"Great for the price"
Very affordable room, you can't beat it. Clean (except for the toilet in my room upon entering, unfortunately), but otherwise great. Very nice staff, good breakfast, good service. Will definitely visit again next time I want to spend some time in NYC.

"Our Stay"
The hotel price was an amazing deal. The free breakfast and the free internet was also a bonus. The hotel room was clean. Although the commute into the city was only a 5/10 minute cab ride the cabs did want to take us back to the hotel from the city. We took the subway back on most occasions, but the walk from the subway station back to the hotel was […] a bit of a ways in the cold weather, and we were two small women and did not know if it was safe at night. I would recommend the hotel though because the price can not be beat and everyone was very nice. Also the hotel has a car service which we used and we were very satisfied. Mehr

I did not get the room I paid for the following dates. 2/4-2/6/2012. I stay at this hotel on the following dates1/27-1/29/12 and also they did not have the room I paid for until I showed my receipt to the clerk that works 3-11pm. Then the room was awarded to me.The same clerk work for both of my stays.
The hotel was good but the room we reserved was non smoking and it smelled like cigarettes in the room and on the floor
"Stayed for 2 nights"
My bf and I stayed for 2 nights in the 2 double bed room. The beds are extremely comfortable and soft and everything seemed pretty good. The one thing that threw us off was no DVD player or built-in DVD player in the TVs. When we go to hotels, we like to throw in a movie to watch, but that's where my bf's portable DVD player came in handy. Overall, […] the stay was nice, enjoyed the breakfast. :) Mehr
this hotel was so cheap. the bed really sucked. and there was a blood mark on the sheets. the room was so cold and they didnt give us a thicker sheet. the water would gather on the bathroom floor. the towels were too little.

"Convenient and clean - perfect as we traveled"
We needed a hotel to fit our family when our travel plans were extended, and space at our original location (staying with family) quickly became impractical. They fit the bill wonderfully, at a great rate per night. Off-street parking (beautiful in NYC), clean and modern rooms with very hot water, and a business center and fitness room. Great value […] and view of the city lights. Go for it! NOTE: the price reflects the fact that it is across the street from a cemetery and that is is close-but not in-Manhattan or Brooklyn. Mehr
