Gutes Hotel, in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Wallstreet , am südlichsten Ende des Broadway. Sehr nette Bedienung. Enges aber sauberes Zimmer mit zwei Kingsize-Betten.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel. Das Zimmer war sauber, zweckmäßig und der Service freundlich und aufmerksam. In direkter Nähe befinden sich viele Sehenswürdigkeiten (Stock Exchange, 9/11 Memorial, Trinity Church) und man erreicht 3 verschiedene Subway-Stationen innerhalb weniger Gehminuten. Außerdem die Fähre nach LongIsland bzw. den Anleger für die Boote zur Freiheitsstatue und Elis Island. Da an der Wallstreet Abends/ Nachts nicht ganz so viel los ist, kann man - für NYC-Verhältnisse - relativ ruhig schlafen, v.a. im Vergleich mit der Gegend rund um den TimesSquare usw. Ein kleines, aber feines, familiengeführtes (so schien es) Hotel, dass wir auf alle Fälle weiterempfehlen würden!

Hotel liegt phänomenal gut, die Gesamtanlage und der Service sind sehr gut. Allerdings hatte man uns zuerst ein viel zu kleines und stark verschmutztes Zimmer im 3. Geschoss mit dem Auslass der Großklimaanlage direkt vor dem Fenster angeboten (Lärm!), das war auch so nicht gebucht. Reklamation war aber sofort möglich und iwr bekamen ein anderes Zimmer, das dann sehr schön war.
Lage
Fairfield Inn by Marriott JFK Airport liegt in Flughafennähe in Jamaika in der Nähe der folgenden Sehenswürdigkeit: Resorts World Casino. Zu den weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten der Umgebung gehören: St. John's University und Belmont Park.
Ausstattung
Dieses Hotel in Jamaika verfügt über Folgendes: Restaurant und Bar/Lounge. Es wird täglich ein kostenloses Frühstück angeboten. Der Flughafen John F. Kennedy ist über U-Bahn und Eisenbahn an Manhattan und Long Island angebunden. Am JFK befindet sich auch ein sehr bekanntes modernistisches Gebäude, das von dem berühmten Architekten Eero Saarinen entworfen wurde. Dabei handelt es sich um das historische nationale Wahrzeichen "TWA Flight Center", das 1962 fertig gestellt wurde und von der Fluggesellschaft "Jet Blue Airways" als Terminal genutzt wird. Nicht weit davon liegen die zwei beliebten Strandstädte Atlantic Beach und Long Beach, die nur eine kurze Fahrt entfernt sind.
Alle Hotels in Jamaika ansehenHotel ist vom Flughafen per Navi leicht zu finden; ich hatte auch als Alleinreisende keine Sicherheitsbedenken. Sehr gute Parkmöglichkeiten für den Mietwagen.

Fuer die Lage und die Umgebung kann das Hotel nichts. Wenn man die Gegend um JFK kennt, weiss, was man zu erwarten hat. Industrie, Laerm und Verkehr bestimmen das Geschehen. Daher ist es umso schoener, wenn man fuer eine Nacht, zwischen zwei Fluegen, ein sauberes, komfortables, ruhiges und vor allem effizientes Hotel zu einem guten Preis findet. "Hotel liegt in schlechter Gegend aber nahe JFK"
Das Hotel ist das wofür es geschaffen ist - ein Airporthotel, wo man maximal eine Nacht bleibt. Aber dafür ist es sehr gut geeignet. Sauber und zweckmässig eingerichtet. ein limitiertes Früstücksbüffet gibt es 24h lang (Kaffee, Säfte, Kekse). Das echte fürhstück - von ca 6-10- ist für amerikanische verhältnisse sehr umfangreich. Ein spezielles Service […] des hotels ist der Airportshuttle. Dh man wird ohne mehrkosten zum Terminal gebracht. Nachteil vom hotel ist, dass die Taxifahrer immer probleme haben das hotel zu finden - somit am besten in Googlemaps die karte ausdrucken und dem Fahrer in die Hand drücken. Mehr

"Informative shuttle drivers"
The restaurant on the premises was a nice touch--one reason that I stayed there as you can't find much of anything very close. My dinner was very good--breakfast was just the normal buffet. "Adequate but nothing special"
Room on 1st floor (actually half below ground) was noisy because of closeness of the dining area (an yes you smelled breakfast long before ready for it). What looked like mold in bathroom (near ceiling). HBO guide indicated movie yet it wasn't actually on the channels provided, no help from front desk on that person I spoke with said she wasn't familiar. […] Didn't expect to pay for parking, was not identified up front when booking or I missed it...uncertain which is correct and not inclined to go through process to see, just will avoid this on in future. O.K. Hotel for airport overnight. Certainly nothing special. Late dinner at hotel was good for a salad and burger with a beer. Late night shower had no hot water. Morning shower was more successful. Pickup and drop off at JFK was quick and easy.

The hotel looks like it was recently renovated. It was just like a Courtyard Marriott, only the room was a little smaller. Very friendly staff. Very close to the airport (JFK).
It is really very good to stay in this hotel. Well connected to federal circle from where you can go the airport as well as Jamica Railway Station.

I,ve been staying at this place for about 5 yrs. when I have to depart for an overseas flight from JFK. I,ts very convenient to the airport & I,ve never had to wait long for the free shuttle. The staff is very friendly and I feel safe there when traveling alone. The breakfest is good and they serve dinner if you need. The business center is also convenient […] to check emails and print boarding passes. The neighborhood doesn,t look the best , but just across the street is a deli for snacks or food., so you don,t have to go far. Stayed for just a few hours, as I had to catch a 5.00 AM flight. Hotel was clean, comfortable, conveniently located and shuttle was quick and efficient! Had dinner at the bar downstairs and service as well as food were great!! I would highly recommend this hotel for even more than an overnight stay.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Location is a bit of a dump, but unlike other hotels in the areas in their price range they have a great little restaurant in their breakfast room from 5:30PM. Will be staying again for overnight stay at JFK.

"Noisiest place in nyc"
Might as well have slept in the airport. Run down, musty hole. No where near as good as the hampton inn.
Due to snow on 0120/12 we decided to stay close to JFK Airport so that we would easily make our flight on Saturday morning without road problems due to snowfall on Friday night. The room was clean and comfortable and the overnight stay included a full breakfast in the morning and shuttle to the airport.Our trip got off to a stress free start.

This is a really nice hotel. The media center is fabulous, the staff are great. The breakfast is really good. The only thing is they do not have a pool or hot tub!!!! WAAAAHHHHHHH, it matters if it matters... Otherwise, I luv this place!!!!!
The hotel was convenient to the airport and the shuttle service was prompt. Hotel staff was very friendly. The building was clean. My room was comfortable. It was a good stay. I would stay there again.
"Great for resting before long flights"
We were flying to Bangkok early in the morning, so stayed at the Fairfield the night before. The restuarant was wonderful, rooms clean and quiet, and the work our area was fine for a quick run and stretch. Van leaves for JFK every 30 minutes. This hotel was also where we stayed on the way home. Great experience both time for all of us!!!

This hotel is just the ticket if you have an early morning flight from JFK. Shuttles run to airport terminals on a 24 hour basis and commence on the half hour at 4 AM. Rooms are comfortable and service is fine. You can eat a standard Mediterranean fare in the hotel and eat an Indian meal by just pushing a button on your hotel phone. "great place to rest after a long flight"
The free shuttle picked us up at the airport helped us with our heavy luggage and got us quickly to our room. Free breakfast in the AM. Only glitch was the shuttle driver left my daughter off at the arrival gate instead of departures so she had to hike around to the entrance. His excuse was that he had some people to pick up at that location.

What a pleasant surprise. Not knowing NY at all and needed a place to sleep for a few hours before flying to Johannesburg, booked on internet. The shuttle service was a bonus. Just what was needed. Thank You.
"Great hotel if you have a layover at JFK"
Everything was great. If I were to nitpick I would say that they had an old boxy tv. Also, there wasn't breakfast available for us at 5am when we left for the airport.

My husband and I stayed at fairfield inn by marriot for 1 night in December. We found it comfortable with a helpful staff. It is situated on a very busy crossroad and the area is quite run down. We ate in the hotel and it was ok.

"Good option for airport stays"
The rooms are on the small side but clean and comfortable. There was a refrigerator and microwave available and thar is helpful. Restaurant food is pricey but good. Service was great and shuttle reliable.I recommend for quick overnight stays at JFK.
Hotel met every all of our needs, parking staff was quick and efficent. Desk staff was helpful and answered any questions that we had. Close to the airport and major streets, on busline and only about three miles or so from the subway.

The hotel was conveniently loacated next to JFK for an early morning departure, however, our room was right next to elevator and a janitor's closet which mde for an EXTREMELY long, noisy, and sleepless night! Needless to say, I would not recommend this hotel unless you specifically ask to be kept away from room 109!

Collection shuttle arrived within 5 mins of call. Good room, reasonably spacious etc. Some road noise, but that is inevitable for hotels like these. Reasonable self service breakfast. Very helpful reception staff.

"Airport stop-over"
We were there just one night, on a return trip from France. We arrived late in the evening, but the hotel shuttle was prompt as promised. We were checked in quickly, and off to bed. The breakfast provided was very nice. We would stay there again.

This is a good hotel for a short stay if you need to get to and from JFK. The free shuttle bus is good, and the drivers very helpful. At certain times of the day there is also a free shuttle bus to Jamaica Station for the Subway and Long Island Railroad
