Best Western Plus Fiesta Inn - San Antonio

THE MANAGEMENT AN STAFF WERE ALL NICE,AN THE HOTEL HAD GOOD LOCATION AS WELL AS IT WAS QUITE WITH NO NOISE..

Everything was excellent, except the check-in..... We had to wait 45 min because the room wasn't ready... It happens to another family before me and to my family... The worst part it's that there was no apology offered, it's not that we need it...It's just a regular business procedure... Almost like if you want to wait or leave... Unfortunately I had […] my reservation pre-paid and with that attitude from the receptionist, I did not trusted to get a refund on the spot... But the room was clean and comfortable.... But with so many hotels in San Antonio, I'll definitively go somewhere else next time... Mehr

We stayed three nights in this hotel. Nonsmoking room. The hotel is old, but management tries to keep up the grounds. The staff was not very friendly. Only one computer available to the guests. I called the hotel and the phone just rang, so I hung up and tried again and after numerous rings, it was answered. The employee behind the desk was folding […] towels on the table in the lobby??? That did seem very sanitary. Continental breakfast was a plus. Overall, I would stay here again. Mehr

rooms werent horrible but location and hotel lobby not very good... if your not going to be at hotel much and on a tight budget this may be a viable option.

Great location and good price for a typical motel room. Clean and all was well attended to.

Our stay recently at the Best Western Fiesta Inn in San Antonio, TX was great. I would certainly recommend this hotel as a place to consider staying. Friendly people, great continental breakfast, very comfortable bed.

Great value for the money, room and property was very well maintained and very clean, would stay again.

absolutely great location for many San Antonio attractions. Room was not clean when i arrived, but the hotel got me into a new room in a couple of minutes.

Do not leave anything of value in your car at night. There is no security in the parking lot, at all. FYI.

Pool was nice, very close to Fiesta Texas,

People at front desk were not nice had trouble with the first room got a new one the next day they locked me out of my room I was supposed to be there for two nights and 3 days on the second day they locked me out and u could not find anyone to rekey my card so I could get in I was overall very dissatisfied with my stay

Convenient to local attractions. Hotel staff are friendly and polite. The room was in need of a few minor repairs.

The hotel is dated. The design of my room must have been conceived by someone without any thought about modesty. As you open the door to the room, the first thing you see is the open door to the bathroom. The room is small and if someone were drying off, they would be in plain view and if using the commode, a similiar view. The bathroom did not have […] an exhaust fan, so you had to open the door to let the steam out. The next obstacle was the wash basis for the room. Just past the bathroom door, the wash basin and mirror, which were not a part of the bathroom caused entry and exit to the main area of the room to be close and restricted, if one of us was using it. The only other notable deficiency was that some of the bath linens looked like they had been shredded, ie, torn or ripped. Better values were available for the money at other hotels. Although basically clean and comfortable, it is adequate; but, not what I expected from the national chain that they represent. I will not take a chance with this chain again. I am an old timer and can remember when their facilities were first class. Mehr

Arrived a little early and they put me in a room that hadn't had the A/C turned on and the room was like a furnace. After I went out and arrived back in the room that night, the battery was low in the door locking mechanism and was unable to get inside my room. A manager graciously tried to open the door with a master key, but was still unable to open […] my door. After about thirty minutes of trying to open the door, the door finally unlocked and I stayed in the room the entire night and didn't even thin about going out again and going through the same hassle again. The front desk clerk was very nice and adamant about trying to open the door, but it was just one of those things. Mehr

The hotel is very nice. There are no elevators, thus ask for a downstairs room when making your reservation. The room was nice, clean, had a microwave/fridge combo (in room), and spacious tub. The down side was the window by the door on looked the bathroom. If you leave the blinds up, everyone can see everything. The bed was wonderful, not too firm, […] but not too soft. On the bed was 5 extremely firm pillows. I usually need 2 pillows when I sleep. The breakfast the next morning was a little disappointing. We got to breakfast at 8:30am. The options were toast/rock hard bagels, hard boiled egg, oatmeal, waffles, fruit, cereal and various juices/coffee. The reason why I was disappointed with breakfast, was there were 4 tables with 3 seats. You had to go into the confrence room to sit and eat. The tables were not clean and neither was the area where the breakfast was being served. We did not have any other problems with this hotel. Mehr

This was certainly a no-frills hotel, but it delivered what it promised and was clean and nice-smelling. - No refrigerator in the room, which surprised me a little. - We got to breakfast late and they'd run out of a couple of things. - The internet service was really spotty. located next to stairwell. During the storm we thought we were having big hail stones but the high winds were blowing the electrical panels located at the stairwell and the panels were banging on the wall of our room. We though it was a tornado. We complained to the desk and they did not care but answered that they would look into it. The next night […] the wind was still blowing and the electrical panels were still making horrific noise. This was Fiesta week and we could not find another hotel to move to. The one night that the storms were gone we could hear alot of exterior noise and it was not until the morning that we realized the maid left the window open and was also causing the a/c to shut on and off not being able to control the room temperature. It was difficult for us to sleep during these nights and we will not recommend this hotel to anyone else. Mehr

The room was kept very clean for my stay and everyone was real nice and helpful. The staff helped us do some maps and helped show us through the computor.

This hotel experience was better than I expected. The room was large, comfortable and clean. The beds were pretty comfortable ( I didn't wake up with an aching back like previous places I've stayed). The location of the hotel was great; lots of shopping in the area, felt very safe. Would have liked a better breakfast. This was a very good hotel for […] the price we paid. Would stay there again. The hotel was a solid choice for the price. The heater was a little loud at night. Other than that it was a big room and I was pleased. I also didn't like how they didn't have elevators going to the second floor but I would definately stay here again.

Very nice location, just two miles from Six Flags Fiesta Texas.

Excellent location 100% recomended.

I guess you get what you pay for. The reception at guest services was very mundane. I did not get the welcoming greeting and services as is usually extended. The hotel is a bit older and the mattress was flat and hard. There was no convenience store close and the only vending machine was sold out/out of order.

This was my first trip to Texas. I picked this hotel based on the "Best Western" name, price and location. I was extremely satisfied. The grounds were a beautiful garden like setting and they had a variety of cold/hot breakfast items to start your day. I had a problem with a leaky faucet in the tub and loose toilet seat. It was reported and fixed within […] 20 minutes. The staff was very courteous and helpful in giving directions. Many restaurants/malls close by and easy access to highway. Overall the hotel was great. The person at the front desk wasn't so friendly when we checked in but I just figure they were having a bad day. I think it happens to all of us. I must say the room was more than I expected for the rate we paid. The size of the room was great. Not only did it have a little sitting area but also had a nice arm chair as well. […] I just couldn't believe the space in the room. The only complaint I really have was the mattress. A friend stayed in their own room and had the same complaint. The mattresses were very hard. It almost felt like sleeping on concrete. Maybe they should look at replacing the mattresses. the room itself was clean and nice. The maintenance man had to replace t.v.(very snowy)breakfast was very disappointing. My husband and I were there on business so the t.v and breakfast were no biggie but the mattress was EXCESSIVELY HARD so it was impossible to get any rest.

The hotel staff was very friendly on check in. Located on feeder road just off interstate so very easy to get to. Walmart and other stores close by for the forgotten items. Was about a 20 min drive from downtown. I would stay there again.

Nice hotel and convenient.

When I checked in, the front desk clerk was very rude and was almost in tears. When I asked what was wrong, she said that she couldn't access some website. I then told her "Sorry" which I shouldn't have in the first place. The next morning I told another clerk of the incident as well as the manager. Overall I had a very enjoyable stay here. Overall it was a good stay for our family vacation. The only problem was that there was no HBO when we stayed there, & the breakfast selection was not all that great.

Good location as it was 15 mins from Riverwalk and 30 mins from Seaworld. Lots of places to eat nearby. Nice pool and great breakfast complete with waffles.

only thing negative, hot tub was broken but they were repairing it, the beds were hard as a rock, we went to walmart and bought egg crates to make it through the week

Our stay here was great. Only thing wrong was the Ice maker was not working. Other than that, No Problems.

location very good , close to six flags and the riverwalk.. great times. would recommend anyone stay here.
