Super 8 Ft. Oglethorpe GA/Chatt TN Area - Fort Oglethorpe

The room was comfortable, clean and in a good location for our needs. What more could one ask for the price.

Nice enough motel but the breakfast that was offered at a cost was very sparse. Juice, coffee, biscuits and gravy, some cold cereal and bagels was it. No fruit or hard boiled eggs.

Great location.......just up the road from Lake Winnie amusement park, 10 min ride to lookout mountain, 20 min ride to downtown. Breakfast was good (free) lot's of food choices near hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful.....would stay again next time in town!!

Very satisfied with everything. Pillows were a little too full for me. Front desk employees were very kind and helpful. Great rate!

Good for an overnight. Clean room. Comfortable beds. I didn't like the blankets. A comforter is much better.

It only takes about 5 to 10 minutes to get downtown and same to rock city. I was very impressed with the room. Its better than you would expect, and it just feels nice. The lady at the front was very pleasant, and seemed to really want to make sure i was comfortable. the area around the hotel isnt great, it feels safe just a little runned down. with […] that said, the hotel it self seemed brand new. While there was nothing really wrong with this hotel or the service, there also wasn't anything really noteworthy The hotel itself is short distance from the main thoroughfare of I-75. Definitely NOT right off the Interstate like you might want. For a late-night arrival, every mile might matter. The room was nothing special, but was clean. The advertised […] "breakfast" was as-advertised, but as about as basic as could possibly be delivered. It will tide you over until you can get something more substantial. Room was clean but heater was noisy. Breakfast was minimal. Only hot item for Breakfast was not very good. The sausage and gravy hardly had any meat and was watery. Not a very good selection of rolls. Only 2 choices of cereal available.

We had an overnight stay for a funeral. Was a satisfactory stay.

This motel was convenient to Lookout Mountain. The neighborhood wasn't great, but not bad either. The place was a little dated, but the room was clean, and the staff was friendly. I'd stay there again.

Everything was great. Staff very friendly. Room was clean &chuck comfortable. Only downfall was the entrance/exit driveways to the hotel. Steep and you cave to be very cautious not to drag the underneath of your vehicle. All in all, a great place to stay.

We found the accomodations at Super 8 more than comfortable. Our stay was just too short this time, but we plan to return later for a longer visit to the area and we will stay at Super 8. Thanks!

Stayed here when attending a family funeral. Room was mainly clean but blanket on the bed was not. Very noisy occupants in the parking lot while trying to sleep. Breakfast was marginal. Cost was good. Not too much to choose from in this location.

Friendly staff, great rates, clean and comfortable. Great location, convenient to everywhere we needed to go.

The receptionist was pleasant but the lobby was very dated. Upon driving around to our room, we saw several old couches and other furniture at the back of the lot. Our room was outdated and did not look clean. We felt we could not stay at this location and turned our key in.

This hotel had a lot of family and business travellers staying there. It was a great place to stay for the price. We felt comfortable staying there and parking our car outside. Only downside was the A/C which either went ice cold or off

Very pretty area, kind of far from the highway but still in an area I felt safe and parking lot was very well-lit.. Not a lot of traffic nearby. VERY clean room and bathrooms, beds were comfy enough. his hotel was really a surprise for the cost. It was a pretty good stay for a week end. It's not to far from the surrounding attractions and it is a good place for resturants. The pool was the only draw back. It is very small. The front desk clerk was very helpful and extremly friendly. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we need […] and she gave us great advise on the surrounding attractions. I would surely stay here again. Mehr

This was a great hotel stay. The staff was very friendly from check in to check out. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great value. Some of the surroundings were a little rough around the edges but the hotel was great!

Room was great. The staff very friendly and helpful. The only thing I would recommend is bring your own pillow. The pillows there were very hard and flat so we did not sleep that well. Overall a very good stay.

The room was decent; the staff were nice; the continental breakfast was basic. If you can get a cheap rate, it is not a bad place to stay. If your primary destination is the Chickamauga Battlefield, you can't beat the location. It is only about a mile from the Visitors Center. The only drawback I had was with the room locks. Easy drive from I24 - about 15 minutes south on Route 27. Quiet, clean, and friendly staff. Breakfast was lacking - consisted of cold cereal but they did have homemade biscuits with gravy. Other hotels have a nicer breakfast but you are paying a lot more for the room.

If using a sat.nav. you need to note that this hotel is in Georgia and not in Chattanooga, Tennersee. We found it to be clean in every respect and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was good. Everything worked, but some might be put off by the washing / shaving area being in the open.

Clean convenient for what we wanted-just wished the pool would have been open sooner than 10:00 A.M.We were very happy with the accomodations

You are about 10 minutes from Chattanooga with all it offers for about half the price of a hotel there. There is nothing fancy about the hotel, but unless you plan on staying at the hotel the whole time, it suits your needs fine. The rooms are clean. The pool is clean. There is a fridge and a microwave. The air works.

Overall OK room except pillows very thin. We asked for extra pillows and they brought two. We had 4 in our room and had to ask for appropriate number of towels each day. Nice little outdoor pool and decent breakfast.

The hotel was very clean, staff was very friendly. Lock on door was difficult to work, remote needed batteries, and air conditioner rattled some. Easy to get to from highway and there is a Big KMart and CVS near by for picking up snacks or drinks (there is a fridge and microwave in room). Very satisfied especially for price.

We booked this room 2 weeks in advance and prepaid for 2 nights stay. We arrived around 10pm and were given a room on the second floor on the right side of the building. Each room has a separate entrance from an outside porch area. More like a motel than a hotel. The next morning when we were preparing to leave for the day with showers and ironing our […] clothes, the management insisted that we move out of the room they put us in because it had a storage closet they needed access to. They wouldn't even give us time to finish up our preparations. They made us pack up all our belongings and move to a room on the left hand side of the building. I found this unacceptable given that they knew in advance that it was a 2 night stay. I do not recommend this hotel. Mehr

Needs new matresses and a little more cleaning in the tub. All in all it was alright for the money spent. Front desk girl was awsome and very helpful.

Our stay was satisfying. We only needed a one night stop without the frills. Although the surrounding area was run down, the hotel was neat and had modern fixtures. I was here on a short business trip. The hotel was better than expected. It was inexpensive and clean. A good value.

Sheets where thin as a dime,the bathroom was not clean tub was dirt were we had to clean it.
