Da wir nur auf der Durchreise waren und dort abends zum übernachten angekommen sind, hat das Hotel seinen Zweck erfüllt...länger wie eine Nacht, würden wir dort nicht bleiben wollen!!

walls were dirty, bed was a double, not queen, questionable people in parking lot(did not feel safe). The office person was very nice and helpful

Cheap hotel, the drain in the sink was broken, but hotel was next to an awesome putt putt corse, decent pool and hot tub. Room was clean and staff was friendly. Not much of a breakfast though... some almost rotten fruit, oatmeal packets and coffee.... no cereal and the juice dispenser was broken :/

Lots of homeless hanging around. Hard to find. Had leak in sink, soaked my luggage bag, exchanged room, but went from 1 Queen size Bed to 1 Double bed for my Fiance and I who are both plus size people. Not Happy having to move all our luggage for what was a two week trip but only 4 nights at this Motel to a room with a smaller bed then we paid for. […] Oh did I mention I'm a double lung Transplant patient and staying in a room with the carpet wet while it took several hours to change rooms was possible a hazard to my Health, Plus my Fiance was sick and they didn't even offer to help her move the luggage while I was away at the Giants game in Spring Training. We called in the Leak around 7:30 AM, and they didn't move the room around 2:00 PM, I Left for the Game around 10:00 AM Mehr

Rooms have absolutely no sound proofing! It had that old stale air smell and no amount of running the air conditioner to circulate the air helped. I visited this area from TX. Room was OK for the star level of Hotels.com. Banas provided for complimentary breakfast wer too ripe. Coffe was fine. Next to HWY 17. Resauran nearby.

our stay was good, when we checked in late, we got our room keys quick and the clerk was nice. The room was clean and very spacious, plenty of hot water. I think their was free breakfast but we did'nt go cause we enjoyed the sleep in. Even though we booked for 2 nights the next day the maids fixed our bed and left clean towels, soap and shampoo. Very clean and well maintained property. Not the best neighborhood. Weak point is the wifi which goes from working OK to not working. It is the best you are going to get for the money. But lock your car.

Just awful. The bathroom above ours was leaking through an electrical light fixture. We could hear dripping in other parts of the ceiling where holes had been drilled and filled without any semblance of camouflage. There was strange orange spatter on the walls, hair in the bathtub, and the door guard was missing. Some rooms had extremely hard beds but the management was gracious to let us change rooms. The rooms were aged but very clean and they changed sheets and linens every day we were there. The area didn't seem to be the best...alot of homeless looking people hanging out in the parking area at night. Actually getting the room was a pain, the service at the front desk was extremely slow. But other than that, absolutely enjoyed my stay. The rooms were neat and the carpets even vacuumed. I booked a room for 3 days. Room 215 - Upon entering the room i was hit in the face with it seemed like 10 packs of cigarette smell that almost made me sick. The carpet was old and dirty, The walls and baseboards dirty and stain spots on the walls. The bath tube had pealing paint in the bottom of it. The bed mattress was old and uncomfortable. Complained […] but they were unable to move me to a different room that night. The next day i was moved to room 165 - This room had new carpet, Fresh paint, Pillow top mattress and clean walls and shower. We were looking for an affordable hotel while visiting Phoenix for the Fiesta Bowl and we had an enjoyable stay at the Super 8. Location was good, room was clean and we liked being able to park right outside our room. It was evident the hotel is run on a shoestring budget, but they did well with what they have to work with.

The hotel itself is you get what you pay for. The neighborhood is not safe. We were followed to our room one night by someone that kept pounding on the door, when we called the front desk they asked us to call them if she left. No we needed someone to come get rid of her. The next night we came back after dinner and there were 4 police cars dealing […] with a whole group of young adults in the parking lot. Two nights we were awaken by screaming and not nice words at approx. 2 am. If we were in our room the curtains were closed and all locks were locked. We tried not to be there other than to sleep. If I wouldn't of bought this room in a package deal from Expedia I would of asked for my money back and moved. The morning we left I was packing the car as someone came up on a bike wanting me to give them money. When I walked away again I was faced with someone not talking nicely. There is no breakfast unless you call a sweet roll breakfast. The pool and hot tub were not heated at all. They even had a sign on the door that said HOT tub. No hot tub it was cold. Mehr

The only thing that I did not like was the bed mattress it was like sleeping on a box spring which the actual springs were noticeable. besides this issue everything else was excellent.

Other than people knocking my door at 2 A.M., who can not read or see the "Do Not Distrub" placard. The stay was pleasant, frugal/affordable, and off the I-17. I didn't take advantage of the continentail breakfast so I dont have a review for that.

i stayed there for 2 nights during December. The room cleanliness was ok, but the facilities and services were disappointing. No refrigerator and microwave in the room. only one microwave in the lobby for all the buildings they have. The hot water valve wasn't working well, and i had to bath with water at room temperature. Thank god it was in phoenix […] and not that cold. They mentioned every day morning breakfast but there were no signs of it. no bugs though. hotel would be fine for few hours stay. Mehr

Their Continental breakfast consisted of 2 pakages of Honey Buns, a few packages of sugar covered donuts from a gas station, and a few packages of old oatmeal. The bed was so uncomfortable, I had to either line my sleeping area with pillows or sleep on the floor because there were so many springs protruding from the mattress. Location in the city isn't […] terrible, but there are many homeless nearby. I stayed a week and most mornings there were police escorting someone out of one of the rooms. Super 8 on Black Canyon: The ceiling had a huge crack, looked like if there were too many people in the room above us it would have crashed in. Dried snot on the bathroom walls. Staff not friendly at all. And the breakfast, donuts in small packages and coffee. Really? Never again!

Holes in the curtains, patches in the bedspread, spots in the carpet - this hotel is in dire need of renovation. The best thing: the fastest WiFi I've ever had in any hotel, including five star!

I made the mistake of thinking this hotel was near fun things to do. Wow was I wrong. So very, very wrong. Not only is it a good $30-40 cab ride to downtown/the airport/zoo/botanical garden, but it's also in kind of a bad neighborhood. My cabbie even asked me why I was staying at a 'hooker hotel.' Some cabbies even refused to take us here because it […] was so far away. Also the only place to eat within walking distance is bbq place- which is good as long as you're not vegan. First thing you noticed was all the dubious individuals wondering the parking lots. Many of us felt unsafe. Rooms smelt like smoke. A/C, TV, showers worked so that was a plus. When the sign says limited breakfast that is exactly what it means. Doughnuts and oatmeal. Don't stay here, spring for a more expensive hotel.
