"Super 8"
State of disrepair, window was broken, safety latch on door was broken. Remote for tv didnt work, outlets were not attached to wall. Some lights didnt work. Had two rooms for one night and they rented the other one out yet still charged us for two rooms! Will never recommend this hotel to anyone!!

Although the hotel was conveniently located to the interstate, the noise was so loud I could not sleep. The room had imenities, but was very tired - old carpet, really needed updated furniture. I slept a few hrs, and then decided to leave around 3 and continue on my trip - just couldn't seem to sleep. "Dissatisfied with Super 8 Utica"
Within 10 minutes of checking in I saw a cockroach. The drapes didn't work and they were missing drapery hooks on the first 6 inches so the right drape hung down like it was torn. Both of the light bulbs in the fixture next to the bed were blown, as was one of the two in the fixture above the sink. The room smelled of cat spray. Checked in later with no problems. I travel by myself and I am concerned about security. This was no problem. Had a room right behind the office. The staff was very helpful answering questions about the area. Comfortable, inexpensive stay.
"Only as a last resort"
This hotel is one step above the dirty-looking hotels across the street and well below the nearby Red Roof Inn. Only choose this when you have no other options.
"Alright handy to interstate"
room was good but we were the last room in the hall only a sidewalk width away from the road which is a fairly major road so lots of traffic all day and night as well as Emergency services with sirens going

"not so Super 8"
We LOVE hotels.com - treated us very well when there were problems in the past; will use again. However, first time we've grossly overpaid at hotels.com for quality rec'd. staff was nice but.... trash under beds - including condom wrapper! (You explain that to the kids) If I were Hotels.com, I would no longer include this location in my listings.
