If I had been traveling with children I would not have liked the room. It still had an odor of cigarette smoke, and the chairs were dingy looking. However, the Bathroom was clean (with exception of door knobs and light switches) Overall, we did not expect to spend alot of time in the room, so it fit our needs. Nostalgic for long time motel. Many years ago it had a popular bar with the back end of a 59 Caddy sticking out of the wall. I think the bar is deserted. It has an indoor pool and free continental breakfast. Price was good for area. Motel was clean, but the carpet was ancient. It is an old motel and has a lot of truck drivers that stay there. I stayed […] there for price and nostalgia. Fifty years ago it was the best in town, but that was 50 years ago. Close to eating, WalMart. On I-35 and Main Street. I probably would not stay there with my wife, but would stay in a newer hotel of which Norman has many now. By myself, I would probably stay there again. Mehr

There are a lot of construction workers hanging out at night but they leave early and they weren't too noisy.

Heated indoor pool and hot tub great. Breakfast good. Staff friendly.

Clean and easy access. Room was quiet even though the interstate was right there. Staff friendly. Breakfast good. Heated indoor pool and spa were great. Only disappointment was that I asked for an extra pillow and was told there are none. Conveniently Walmart is across the street so I bought one.

I found the hotel to be dated, very musty and just did not clean, it reminded me of being in a hygiene challenged college kid's apartment.

In a college football town where all the hotels sell out far in advance, this hotel was the only one available for a last minute visit to Norman. It was convenient, and when all you need is a place to sleep, it will do. The room was pretty tiny - barely any walking room with a bed, dresser, tv, desk, mini-fridge and microwave, and nightstand in the […] room. Older motel, but very easy to get on/off I-35. Could use updating, but the price makes up for the condition.

hotel has had a "facelift" and looks pretty decent. Rooms were clean and completely adequate but nothing to rave over. Management seems to be trying hard to fix this hotel up. I overheard management addressing customer complaints with the cleaning crew and also the lady in charge of the breakfast room. He seemed genuinely concerned about any compla […] ints. Mehr

Older motel but in good condition. Poll and spa are nice but i could not get sauna to operate. Good breakfast but lady there ignores hotel guests and only pays attention to regulars. Over good value and i would stay there again.

The room was great and very clean, except for the cockroaches in the bathrooms.

The paint crew must have thought that the whole place was getting a makeover, after they did their job. The electrical plugs didn't meet half of the appliances. I was told there was a fridge. There was a place for a fridge, but it was just a hole.

Swimming pool hours were listed as 9a.m.-11p.m. However, they would not open the pool until the chemicals in pool were testing correct levels. Both days they opened pool up after 4p.m.Why are chemicals out of line to begin with? Also, continental breakfast was okay. However, waitress served the regular locals that were non-paying guests rather than […] the paying guests. She totally ignored paying guests and sat and chatted with locals that were taking part in the breakfast. At times she was seen dozing off to sleep. Doubt we will ever stay here again. Mehr

Found room to be quite comfortable. Non-smoking room smelled like a non-smoking room. Was just a stop-over stay for one night. Decent free breakfast also.

We went into our room and the carpet was wet and sticky. We complained and were moved immediately into a room on the opposite end of the hotel and on a different floor. The carpet of that room was wet too. We complained and were given yet another room and took it and had to lay towels on the floor to soak up the moisture and not get our feet wet. The […] late night staff was friendly and helpful and satisfied our needs immediately but the wet floors were disgusting and nobody knew what caused it. Mehr

The price of the hotel room is what made us make the reservation but you get what you pay for!! The walls were paper thin. We could hear EVERYTHING! The towel bar fell off the wall when I reached for a towel. It was a dump!

I had read the reviews for this hotel before booking. Most were not flattering. We needed a place to stay that wouldn't deplete our checkbook so I booked a non-smoking room. The desk people were very friendly and professional. The hotel itself is obviously older but well maintained. Our room was smaller than newer hotels but very clean and had been […] updated to be as contemporary as possible. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Didn't care for the iron being tethered to the ironing board. Overall, good room for the price and clean. Would stay there again. Mehr

Looks like it used to be a Holiday Inn long ago. Old TV. Comfy bed! Has indoor pool and ping pong table that were used frequently. Good for families. If you want quiet, would recommend room away from pool and rec area.
