The swimming pool was a disapointment. The clorine was so bad that my kids eyes were still burning the next day. They were only able to swim for anout 15 mins and had to get out because their eyes were burning so bad. We had to get towels from the front desk and she only wanted to give us 2 towels for 4 people and the towels were just bigger than hand […] towels. The pool it self was very small and had anyone else been in there we wouldnt have been able to swim at all. The SUPER STAR breakfast was cereal and waffles when the waffle machine wasnt clogged up. The small tray of donuts were gone before we got down there at 7am. Over-all its not too bad if your staying over night but we stayed the entire weekend and probably next time will choose a little nicer place. Mehr

We were just passing through town for one night and needed a clean and comfy room in which to stay. This hotel met both of these criteria easily. The were just some minor maintenance issues that didn't affect us too much, but at this price we couldn't complain.

Cleaning people came to my room twice before check out time. They need to wait. I told them 11.00 am come back. They came again before that time.

I usually stay at the Hampton Inn but decided to branch out and try something else (cheaper). I tried Super 8 and was happy with the quality and serivce for the price. Nice room, good bed, hot water, and good breakfast. Thankfully, I was very happy with Super 8 and I will stay with them again.

We stayed here on our way to Nashville. The room was very musty. Trash mann showed up at 2:00am to empty 3 receptacles outside the window. That process took a half an hour. Street cleaners began cleaning at 5:00am, and the trains started around 7:00am. Not much insulation between you and the outside world. We got up the next morning to take a shower […] and get out by 11:00am. Went to the shower and the handle fell off in the tub. We phoned the office and an Indian lady came up and asked my husband if he pulled it too hard, then proceeded to tell him to turn it. My husband told her she was welcome to try it herself. She then said she would call a plumber. When my husband asked how long it would be, she walked away. Finally a man at the front desk told her he would give us another room to take a shower. We reloaded our suitcases and had to walk down the hall to another room. Finally after getting ready, I was zipping up the suitcase and my husband went to check out. At 11:05am we were standing at the door to leave and the same Indian lady was knocking to see if we were ready to leave. That was one of the rudest situations I have ever been placed in. Will never stay here again!! Mehr

normal experience, not too bad, stayed twice in one month

A good, inexpensive place to stay. Good location for those on the Bourbon Trail.

The customer service was wonderful they made us feel welcome. Their free breakfast included making your own waffles and it was awesome. The beds need replacing ours seem to sink in the middle but it was good and cheap. Our trip was actually to see my sons graduation from basic training in Fort Knox. On the way over there it was a scenic route.

the workers were wonderful also it was the first time traveling with our dog and they gave us a room close to door. i will be back

We enjoyed this hotel very much. The staff was always friendly. Everything was clean and in good shape, looked like maybe it just had some fresh updates in places. The pool is smaller than it appears in the picture but there were never very many people in it. And it was always clean and very warm. We also enjoyed the surrounding area had many conviences. […] Within walking distance were several restruants of all varities, grocery store, gas. station and several other things. It's really a pretty little town and we never felt unsafe. About a 15 minute beautiful drive to Louisville. We will definatly be staying in this hotel again. Mehr

Nice hotel, very clean, large rooms and priced right. Although I was disappointed with the size of the pool, very small, no hot tub, but close to louisville, and close to some very nice resturaunts and shopping. Would recommend this hotel to others.

Only complaint is poor water pressure in shower, which seems to be all too common at hotels. Nice breakfast - hot and cold items.

It's usually a chore trying to find dog-friendly hotels on the road but this place wasn't bad. Cheap and our two small dogs liked it. Got there at 2 am on a Thursday and had no problems. Breakfast was comical though. Yucky coffee and donuts.

The desk clerks lacked affect, no smiles, no friendliness. Otherwise the hotel fit the bill of a relatively inexpensive place to stay..

The staff was friendly and top notch, but the hallway to our room smeeled strongly of smoke. Our room smell of something kind of musty, and dust was on all outlets and other wall attachments. To get the nightlight in the very tiny bathroom sink area to turn on you had to leave another light on, kind of pointless right? On the whole, not a 3.9 as my […] hotels.com peers had lead me to believe. My king size room was the most expensive and least impressive of the hotels from our trip. Mehr

This hotel and staff are about the Best stay, Most dedicated to the Guest that I have ever had. The clerk was very helpful from check in to Opening up the pool that was not already opened by the day staff. The room was very clean and fresh smelling. The pool was perfect for myself and a young child to have fun In. The Breakfast was Very good. It was […] a clean and well organized area. The food was all fresh and well stocked. The room was clean. The hotel was quiet and bed was comfortable. All in all, a great price for a good room!

This was my second time booking a room at this hotel. I was just as pleased as my first stay. I will definitely look for Super 8 motels whenever I travel.

This hotel needs some new carpet etc etc.

The paperwork for sign in was waiting for me- took just minutes! The room was clean- one bed wasn't very comfortable but the other was and not many towels. The breakfast was a good selection for contential. The staff was friendly. The pool is only 4 feet and small, but clean. Good location for my travel plans there. Everything was great...pool isn't as big or deep as we thought but was still nice. Not to far from Fort Knox, KY

My experience at this hotel was the worst I have ever had. The front desk people were very rude. My room smelled really bad. There was Blood on the linens and they wouldnt give me new ones. My carpet had holes in them. My bathtub was so nasty I couldnt take a shower in it. I will never stay at this motel ever again. I also wouldnt recommend it to a […] nyone. Mehr

for the price it was nice not enough towels in room and had to get let into the pool each time other than that very friendly at front desk
