Super 8 La Grange - LaGrange

upon arriving you drive through a nice hotel to the super 8. the office is a small shack in the back. with 3 chairs where they serve "breakfast" which is just cereal. so don't expect anything as far as breakfast goes. the rooms were average. beds were ok and the shower and sink were fine. not really any complaints about the room. the air and heater […] work fine. it's located by other hotels. although there are no attractions in lagrange so it's not really central to anything. the biggest problem is the internet. they're using a wrt54g router with dd-wrt on it. it's at a set rate of 11mb with about 20 users on it at any given time. not only is it impossible to get an ip address but the internet drops constantly and it's so very slow. feels like dial-up. they could at least use some faster internet with a custom firmware router. completely unacceptable. Good hotel for an overnight stay. Quiet and clean.

THE PROS ARE LOCATION AND FRIENDLYNESS. THE CONS ARE THE BEDS ARE NOT COMFORTABLE, THE CARPET SHOULD BE SHAMPOOED MORE OFTEN (I SPILLED COKE AND WHEN I PUT THE TOWEL DOWN TO DRY THE AREA, IT CAME UP BROWN AND BLACK.

My husband and myself were very happy with our stay in this hotel. We were so glad to find that it was clean and freash smelling. The room was spaceous and the tub was huge. Convent to restaurants and shops. The only down fall was the maid service the next day; she knocked on our door at 9:30 in the morning saying, "Cleaning service". Spent the night, Nov 23. Room was clean, no noticeable noise. Decent price for a decent room. Even had the "continental breakfast", good Waffle House across the street, etc. All right off the interstate.

I stayed here for the weekend to work in Lagrange over the weekend. I was told over the phone by the hotel that I could check in early but had to call Hotels.com in order to get the girl at the front desk to let me check in at 11 instead of 3. When I got to the room and got settled in, the bed was SO hard. I could feel the springs in the mattress. Also […] the table that they provided in the room was so wobbly I thought it would fall down if I leaned on it to eat my food. Also found stuff under the bed that was left by the previous guest. I never went to management about it because I figured if this room was this bad, the others couldn't be much better. Mehr

When the heater begin start, it 's OK. But when it works for a while, the air it output is cold, so we need to stop and restart

Stayed here after an Auburn football game and was pleasantly suprised for the price. Worth the cost after a late football game.

Being the cheapest room I could find in LaGrange, I was a little apprehensive, however, my stay was great! The fellow at the front desk was friendly, the room was in good condition and clean. The place was nearly booked since it was a holiday weekend, but I heard nothing from any other room.

Staff was friendly, room was clean and as expected for an inexpensive motel at a bargain price.

The room was average. However, I was impressed with both of the front desk staff that helped us. They were both helpful and courteous.

The check in people and personell at the desk were friendly and polite and spoke english!
