Check-In und Checkt-Out innerhalb von vier Stunden. Dieses Hotel ist eine Zumutung. Die Zimmer miefen so sehr, dass wir beim Check-Out gleich unsere Kleider wechseln und waschen mussten.

The low cost was good value. The Calgary Motel Village location is just one block from the C-Train's Banff Trail Station. I would suggest a microwave for every room.

The staff was very friendly and genuine - will stay again forsure.

It was very easy for me to travel to the downtown US consulate for the visa interview. Just located across the street to the Banff trail ctrain station. And drops off in front of the consulate. No frills place to stay in Motel Village Calgary. The internet is spotty, works OK then drops out, then comes back - inconsistent and can be frustrating for business travelling. Besides that, decent place to stay.

An ok place to stay if you are just passing through. Sad that hotels in Canada are more expensive than equal or better in Europe though

Except for the location close to the the train station, the hotel has nothing else to like... The bed had bed bugs, breakfast was bad, not even a fruit... eating places close by were just pizza places and a diner which was okay. The location was great, room was clean and staff were friendly. Breakfast room small, especially when the seniors are having their chat session and coffee. We ended up taking our food back to our room everyday, and we were there for three days.

I rented two conjoining rooms for one night. One room smelled bad and the other one smelled much worse. The place was cheap and served its purpose as a place to lay our heads down for a night but I doubt I'll stay there again.

The Heater did not work,smelly room and very "Hard Pillows"

It was a good hotel. Clean and friendly staff. Only one night as we were catching a flight next day.

The rate for the room was good. The room had not been opened for some time. Needed airing. The termostat did not work. The air conditioner helped bring the temperature down at night. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was good. There was redecorating going on, so our room had a new ceiling - sprayed - but the walls were not done.

Not a classy place but for the price it is a good deal. If your on a budget I would recommend this hotel for staying in Calgary if you focus on business and are not worried about the amenities of a fancy hotel

Very clean, nice ...good location ..

I guess you get what you pay for. We had stayed in the Super 8 in Calgary's South end and liked it very much but I think they rank them according to quality. This motel had a few undesireable features. The stairs leading to the lobby and the back entrance looked like they hadn't been washed for weeks. Then a big tractor trailer began unloading a huge […] shipping container bin at 3 in the afternoon. They noisely worked at it for two hours and when they finally got it unloaded they now loaded a full one and plugged up the entrance so we couldn't drive out for supper. The room was small and the old TV was terrrible. The "Free Breakfast" offered cereal, muffins and toast." On the positive side the staff was friendly and the day manager was extremely helpul in finding us a nice restaurant for Sunday Brunch. Mehr

We stayed here on a recent trip to Calgary for The World Junior Hockey Championships. Price was good for the room and location and access to the Saddledome was easy and quick. Would stay again.

I would recommend this hotel to others (I've stayed here several times and it's OK for the price) but I would NOT recommend it IF you need the internet. I need the internet for my business but the service at this location is spotty and slow at best and non-existent at worst. I had to leave the hotel and go to a nearby library because of the poor internet […] at the hotel. I have mentioned this concern on previous stays here (and mentioned it again this time) but the staff seem unconcerned and so I don't see the internet improving in the future. Besides that, the hotel is what you would expect for the price - OK for comfort and cleanliness, but in a noisy neighbourhood (made a little noisier by the thin hotel walls). As a traveller on a tight budget, I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort, cleanliness and service at this Super 8. The room was always well-maintained and had both a mini fridge and a microwave, not like other budget hotels. I would definitely recommend this hotel over other brands and will likely stay there again.

This is an old building, and not particularly well maintained. The walls are paper thin and the sound of people walking by the room on the second story transmits directly into the room. While the price isn't totally unreasonable there are hotels in the vicinity that offer newer and better constructed facilities for about the same money. I won't be staying […] there again. Mehr

when i paid and askaed for a non smoking room why there were residual smell of cigarette i dont understand that.

In motel village in Calgary - convenient location. I just need a clean place to sleep and working internet. While the internet was slow all else was fine. Decent place to stay for a reasonable rate.

This hotel does not reach the usual standard of a Super 8!!!!

A convenient location for downtown, as c-train just opposite. Room was clean and tidy although looks dated. Tea and Coffee was said to be available however no tea. Breakfast was simple but good, with toast, cerals and pastries. With fall starting some heat in the room would have been nice,cold..

The motel is old, it is ok for all the motels in the neighborhood are old, but it has this awful smell in the building that's very offensive. Otherwise, the location and the neighborhood are excellent.

The motel was a motel, surprisingly quiet despite it is on a very busy street. But if you are there in a warm season forget about the quiet, the room is so hot you will need the air conditioner on, and it sounds like a truck in your room, = no sleep.

In Calgary's motel village. Central, but can be noisy - traffic, train, and McMahon stadium all right there. Motel is older, but fine for the price - basic amenities, small fridge. Some things to note: internet is slow, and breakfast room is very tiny so get there early. All in all, what you would expect for this price range.

Hard to find. The bathroom door didn't close, it was too big for the frame. Walls are paper thin, breakfast was pretty terrible. Service wasn't bad though.

Great little motel. Room was clean, although, it had a residual cigarette smell. Staff were friendly and courteous. The breakfast is small; cereal, muffing and coffee. I've been to other places that do include eggs, bacon etc. All in all, if you need to stay for 4 - 5 nights max, stay there.

Carpet was VERY dirt!

nice place, Red Lobster around the corner was great. enjoyed my stay.

We booked a room with a queen sized bed, and it showed this on the sheet I signed when we checked in. However, when we arrived at the room, it only had a double bed. I'm not sure if they intentionally did this, but after I complained, they changed us to another room with a queen sized bed. The power was off in half the hotel, the cable was out as well as the internet. they asked if we would just like to go elsewhere instead but we already paid and no refunds were offered or any compensation for all the inconveniences. i would look elsewhere in Calgary as their were many hotels within walking distance of this one that would have been more […] than satisfactory. Convenient for a one night stopover if you are travelling through Calgary. Very basic but clean and comfortable. No complaints
