Meine Freundin und ich haben uns das Hotel für ein romantisches Wochenende in Denver rausgesucht und sind nicht enttäuscht worden. Nachdem unsere Anreise auf grund des starken Schneesturms am Vortag erheblich erschwert wurde und unser Flug von LA gecancelt wurde, kamen wir ohne Gepäck (war noch in Dallas) in Denver an. Der Check-In verlief problemlos und schnell. Zudem wurde uns direkt mitgeteilt, dass von 17-19 uhr eine Manager's reception statfindet, bei der es kostenlos Cocktails/Longdrinks und Snacks gibt (Das wiederholte sich auch am Samstag; ist anscheinend eine dauerhafte Veranstaltung). Das Zimmer bzw. die Suite war perfekt. Neben einem Wohn-/Arbeitszimmer mit Schreibtisch und Couchecke gab es im Durchgang einen "Küchenbereich" mit Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank, Kaffeemaschine und Waschbecken. Das Bad war ausreichend groß. Auch das Schlafzimmer bot ausreichend Platz. Das gesamt Zimmer war sehr sauber, was das wichtigste für uns ist. Im Großen und Ganzen haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage des Hotels ist auch sehr gut. Man ist in 10-15 Minuten zum Pepsi-Center gelaufen (Arena der NHL und NBA Teams), ebenso ist das Convention Center direkt neben dem Hotel und in der Umgebung sind diverse Restaurants und Shops. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr üppig und sehr lecker. Einzig die Wartezeit bei den Omlets war etwas länger. Das war allerdings auch dadurch bedingt, dass das Hotel anscheinend fast ausgebucht war und wir zu den Hauptzeiten gefrühstückt haben. Wir würden es jederzeit wieder buchen.

Tolles Hotel in der Nähe des Airports. Die Zimmer sind einwandfrei. Das Bad erstklassig. Die eingebaute Küche mit Mikrowelle und riesigem Kühlschrank wollte ich trotz kleinem Shop im Hotel nicht nutzen. Das Hotel liegt wegen der Airportnähe auch in der Mitte vom Nichts. Eine Handvoll Restaurants sind fußläufig erreichbar. Der Service punktete durch die spontane Bereitschaft den kostenlosen Shuttlebus statt zum Flughafen auch zum Rental CAr anzubieten. Die Abwicklung war einwandfrei. Frühstück typisch amerikanisch. Das ginge besser. Ganz bestimmt bei nächster Gelegenheit wieder.

Super 8 Aurora Denver Area liegt in Aurora in der Nähe von Town Center at Aurora, The Children's Hospital und Anschutz Medical Campus. Zu den weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten der Region gehören: Denver Museum of Nature and Science und Zoo Denver.

Obwohl es sich um eine der größten Städte in Colorado handelt, ist Aurora eher als Vorort von Denver bekannt. Zum Stadtgebiet zählt auch Stapleton, der frühere Flughafen von Denver. In Stapleton wurde mit einer traditionellen Hauptstraße, Geschäften und einem Farmer-Markt das ursprüngliche Stadtbild wiederhergestellt. Zu den weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten von Aurora zählen die Buckley Air Force Base und das Plains Conservation Center, ein über 440 Hektar großes Pflanzen- und Tierschutzgebiet.

Ended up cancelling reservation after seeing and smelling the room. It was supposed to be non-smoking, but did not smell like it!

"Good for the price and location"
Easy access to the highway to get into Denver. For the price, I don't have a single complaint except that you should ask to be on the second floor. The first floor hears everything that goes on upstairs including just walking. Very creaky.

"not a good place to stay"
There was no creamers for the coffee in tray. No shampoo or other complimentary items other than a soap. No do not disturb sign in room and then the maid woke me up both days. Upon check out i was told we could have asked at desk for items but not even a sorry for the inconvenience was offered. I would not recomend this hotel to anyone.

This motel wasn't too bad. The staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. We didn't have much trouble parking, and that was when it was completely booked. The bed was pretty hard, but things seemed to be pretty clean for us. We heard a lot of people outside and around us, but that's not the fault of the hotel. Check-out was very quick. "Super 8 hotel in Aurora"
OMG- We booked this hotel thinking it would be ok since it was a Super 8 and not a no name hotel. I kid you not as we pulled in to the hotel a girl came out of her room asking for a jump start. Her and her guy friends both had their cars parked in the lot with the hoods up. I said no as she looked like druggy. We got the keys to our room and checked […] for bed bugs before we brought our things in. After checking high and low we found bed bugs between the mattress at the head of the bed. The room was nasty. Had splatters of who knows what all of the walls and carpets. Went to the front desk and told the lady behind the counter about the bed bugs and she said she would have housekeeping check it. She then asked if we wanted a different room in a different building. Wasn't sure what to do so I said yes but the room would not be ready for 30 minutes. While waiting in the car there were drifters walling all around this place and it gave me the creeps. We called Hotels.com and they booked us at an extended stay a few exits up in Aurora and it was just fine. Worst hotel I have even seen. Mehr

The Super 8 Hotel staff were extremely friendly. I called ahead to inform the staff that I would be arriving late. When I got there, the clerk was extremely friendly and pleasant. The following day I discovered that the shower spout was not working and when I informed the clerk she had it taken care of immediately. She was also very friendly and helpful. […] The room was well-kept and while not fancy, it certainly met my needs and expectations. I will definitely consider staying there again in my next trip(s). Mehr
"Hotel in Aurora - a beautiful Denver suburb"
Aurora is beautiful. It has bustling shopping centers, beautiful lights at night, and great weather. The traffic is not too bad in Denver, either. This makes the hotel easy to get to. When entering the room, one notices that it's very clean, comfortable, and has everything a traveller needs to get through the night. I didn't really experience any problems […] with my room. Mehr

"Consider paying a few $$ more for another place"
Great place if you like weekly renters, old furnishings and dirty rooms. You get what you pay for. The room stunk of a stale not sure what. I asked for another room as our AC was not working (The dials on the AC had permanent marker instructions as the instructions were gone many many years ago) and it is early August. . I was happy to wake up and see […] that my car still had its tools locked inside. Mehr

"Needs Improvement"
When I checked into the hotel the toilet in my room had been used and not flushed. That night there was a party on the concrete space between rooms right outside my door. When I asked the partiers to quiet down they did nothing. When I called the front desk to complain, the clerk informed me that there was nothing I could do. Overall, I got what I paid […] for. Mehr
"Needs to be torn down"
Absolutely the worst hotel I have stayed in, in 20 years. I did not get in till late, so it was too late to change. Desk would not answer calls. Can you say bed bugs, dirty sheets, dirty carpet, mold, furnishing and linens from 1970.
