Super 8 Hazard Ky - Hazard

Good value. Rooms a bit out dated but clean. Staff very friendly. Only complaint is that our room was not cleaned the second day. Need more seating areas for breakfast in the lobbey.

Made my reservations on hotels.com in advance. The hotel appaerently forgot to save my family a room. When they finally found one there were burn holes in the blankets, on the microwave, the toilet seat, and just about every other surface in the room. I requested a non smoking room initially, and the fact that I paid in advance makes me very frustrated. […] I would not stay here if I had the choice, in fact I cut my stay in half when i found another hotel in the area had an open room. The staff was courteous and helpful. The room could stand better ventilation to remove the mold odor.Other than that, the room was clean and comfortable.

I was appalled at the condition of our room. They had a sheet tucked and covering up chair!! Dust.on the frayed lamp shades and mold in the bathroom. Never ever ever again! Unless they do renovations DO NOT STAY HERE!

For a "least expensive" type motel, this Super 8 was fine for our 3 nights stay. Our room was clean, especially the bathroom. The chairs do need to be professionally cleaned or replaced. My husband (who has serious back problems) and I thought the beds were VERY comfortable. The staff was Really helpful and friendly. It is located near a busy road (big […] trucks) so you might want to pack some earplugs, if you're a light sleeper. Yes, it could use some refurbishing, but you do get what you pay for... There was an odor of some type that seemed to be stale. The linen (towels) was very rough (like sand paper) the water was hard. The location was great BUT the trucks using jake breaks woke us up. They may look at getting an ordenance on use of jake breaks in that area. The staff was great. I didn't like the brand of coffee.

We arrived late in the evening so we don't couldn't see as much as in the day. The location was in what looked to the rough end of town. Our room was located farthest from the office, the lighting was very poor so u couldn't hardly see where you were going, the door to the room didn't have a tight seal, by morning time you could see daylight shining […] through. I would say the only plus side was the breakfast wasn't bad since they did serve biscuits & gravey along with the usual bagels, cereal, & doughnuts. Overall I would say if ur in a pinch this hotel would at least get u in out of the weather but if you have a choice look elsewhere. Mehr

This hotel was exactly what I was looking for. I needed a clean, inexpensive place in Hazard and it worked just fine. It was clean, secure, and the staff was friendly. It wasn't perfect, but it was adequate.

Was very high priced. No pool. The breakfast was not that good. I believe they just rise the prices because it is the only one in the area. I will drive next time. The carpet was dirty. It did not smell clean.

Only real complaint is their Continental Breakfast didn't have any protein or fruit choice. A nice hard boiled egg would have been nice for those who cannot eat carbs, and a banana would have been nice too after traveling and getting leg cramps. Tea would have been nice, too, so I wouldn't had to run out to a restaurant for a cup first thing while trying […] to get myself and two children ready for a funeral. Mehr

This hotel is what you'd expect for any Super 8. It's nothing fancy, but it's clean and the staff is extremely friendly. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Hazard. My only complaint is that there is a lot of noise from the traffic and just general building noise (pipes mainly) but this wasn't that big of a deal.

I STAYED AT THIS HOTEL 2 YEARS AGO, IT WAS IN DISREPAIR, DIRTY, AND GENERALLY RUN DOWN. THIS TIME IT WAS CLEAN AND MUCH MORE PRESENTABLE.

Room was neat and clean. Bed was comfortable. Be preparedto carry luggage upstairs because there is no elevator to the upper floor. Shopping plaza with Walmart at next light which was great. Would recommend staying here again. It was a great price as well.
