Everything was fine except for this terrible orge of a room service lady. I stayed two different times. first time she comes to door at day of check (which i was aware of already) and shes knocking and trying to unlock the door to come in when me and my girlfriend where sleeping. Good value for the money. Convienent to Myrtle Beach, South and North. Not a stunning hotel by any means, but it did have a pool for us to swim in. The free contential breakfast had minimal selections, the food was ok, nothing spectacular. Cold cereal, muffins, juice/coffee machines and 2 waffle makers. we check in the hotel early in the morning, the front desk person was very rude and told us she didn't care why we didn't check in the night before. when we enter our room my wife check the beds and they were not change.there were hairs and stains on the sheets, i ask the front desk people if they could clean my room while i was out all day and by the […] time we got back at night they didn't even bother to even go inside my room. i went back to the front desk one more time and they told me that there was nobody to change my bed, in the end i have to do housekeeping myself. My family and I stayed at this hotel. First I want to say at this hotel there was an odor in the room. Like dead fish. The air conditioner was not on so the room was just musty severly. It lightend a little once the air was fully running. The bath tub had a ring around it. I dont even think bleach would have helped that. Just Gross! The breakfast OMG […] seriously? Such a sorry breakfast. One waffle maker and so few tables with such a large crowd. We waited in line for a waffle for 35 mins and even then they were out of spray to make the waffles so they just were so crispy. NOT GOOD. The milk was in this broken fridge that wouldnt stay closed. They only offered 2% milk and the cereal was stale. To make things worse they offered fruit in a basket but who wants fruit that is soft like mush. VERY DISAPPOINTING all the way around. Last but not least that morning a lady was at the front desk in front of the breakfast area and had an attitude like you wouldnt believe like she didnt want to be there. Decent price but you can find better ones closer to the beach if you book early. The lights outside of the hotel are kind of annoying, the lobby shouldn't be closed at 9 or 10 already. The rooms were comfortable for that price although there were some stains in the bedroom and bathroom. The hotel itself is about 3 miles from the beach and about 4 miles […] from the main street where the shops, streets and bars are alive at night. You get what you pay pretty much, but it's not a bad hotel. I stayed there 2 nights and 3 days. There are restaurants and a pharmacy right across the street as well. Mehr

Checked in less than two hours ago and would already be packing my bags if this booking were not prepaid. First I had to explain that I had a 3-night stay - not 1; no baggage carts were available and the on call staff had "no idea" where the carts might be; next the keys to my 3rd story room failed to unlock the door after two trips to the front desk […] - needed 3 trips in total to open; next the room safe - locked in the open position - and management was unable (or unwilling) to help for at least 2 hours! Here's the best part - when I politely voiced my concerns to the manager, I was told very condescendingly that I had "just arrived and was already complaining" and that I should "just relax and enjoy [my] vacation!" Is this for real or have I just entered "hotel purgatory" or the "twilight zone"??? The scariest part of all is the genuine ease with which the condescending insults and poor service were delivered. It appears the staff and management believe they are immune and insulated from the requirements and precepts of common courtesy and professional service. I've also just discovered a few of the little black bugs. The staff and management here can be sure that I will pass my observations to the owners. Maybe the owners will care ... perhaps they won't, but I will have done the right thing for future customers. Will I be returning - No! Do yourself and your family a favor - look elsewhere before booking at this location. Mehr

first room was nasty and smelly like old socks and restroom was very old fashion. the hot water didnt work and the tv kept goin in and out like it was possessed. then our second room had roaches ...REALLY. enough said but a least the tv worked. rest room walls were filled with mold and shower head was dirty...would not ever go back and please dont you […] either. The hotel staff was very nice, but the hotel needs updating. The water pressure in the shower was poor and the sink in the bathroom was slow to drain.

It was just an adequate lodging experience but I would only recommend this hotel for emergency or impromptu situations. We were welcomed warmly but the carpet in the room was damp like it was shampooed and the bedding also felt damp too. The breakfast experience was good & convenient. The hotel's location from the airport was quite convenient too.

This is a true hotel for dogs.  My dog couldn't stop sniffing probably because of all the dog and cat urine.   We just stayed for one night coming from Florida to visit family on the way home.  The smell was terrible and it was all over the lobby, the halls, and rooms.  We slept in our clothes and don't know how we didn't end up with fleas or bedbugs. […]  I read the reviews and was afraid I might have to sleep in the car but we somehow got past the smell and slept for a short while and left quickly.  The toilet had dog hair on it, and the tub was not up to par as far as cleanliness.  The sink was ok.   The rug felt wet. I don't know if this is because they clean it after every guest  or if it has urine on it I think it is the latter.  The person who checked us in wasn't rude but was not pleasant either.  I would never go back again even if I did have my dog with me.  I would sneak her in to a better hotel and that wouldn't be hard to do as this one is the worst. We decided to go to MB at the last minute and we wanted to bring our dog. This is why we stayed here. It was so disgustingly dirty. If there were vacancies that accepted pets anywhere else we would have left. The floors were grotesque. The towels were threadbare. The bed was uncomfortable. The pillows were as thick as tissue paper. The front desk clerk […] who worked in the afternoons was lovely though. She was sweet and kind and helpful. Mehr

WHEN WE CHECKED IN THE ROOM WAS COVERED IN DOG HAIR IT WAS ON THE BEDS FLOOR CHAIRS IT WAS NASTY. THEY GAVE US ANOTHER ROOM IT WAS OK MUSKY SMELL. WOULD NOT STAY THERE AGAIN.

Neighbourhood left us feeling uncertain. Fights in the hallways. Kids playing at 2:00am, running and knocking on our room door, several times. Front desk clerk not very nice, little bit rude. Front desk closes at 11:00 pm Sign posted about concealed weapons? Next time stay somewhere else!!

THE ROOM WAS NOT CLEAN WHEN WE CHECKED IN.

As soon as you walk in to the hotel it smelled horrible like smoke. The location of the hotel made it difficult to turn into the drive way due to all of the surrounding traffic. The best part of the hotel was when you pulled out of the drive way the beach was about 5 miles on straight on the same road. Overall, I would find another place to stay next […] time I go. Mehr

The hotel is located off the highway near the Market Commons area of Myrtle Beach. It's not actually in Market Commons, and it's not right near the ocean. Its location is actually kind of random, but nice. It's not too crowded, or overrun with tourists. It's more in the "locals" part of Myrtle Beach. The service was good overall, but the maids could […] have been more attentive. We were woken up at 9am, said we didn't need anything at the time, and thought they would come back... But they never did. And our beds were never made, but I don't really mind that. It's just a laid-back hotel. No muss, no fuss kind of place. It's worth the money, but not if you plan on spending a lot of time just at the hotel. There isn't much to do JUST at the hotel itself. :) All in all, I'd say my experience was pleasant! I stayed in this hotel for 1 night and my room was clean and the hotel wasnt bad for the price. Too bad its not in the walking distance to the beach. I would reccomend it to my friends and will book it again if need to come to myrtle beach again.

The hotel in Mrytle Beach, out skirt was not at all pleasant, the lamps, pillows was outdated and we did not sleep well, the air condition was not cool. I have travel a lot and have stayed at Super 8 in other states, but this hotel needs to be upgraded.

For the price, not awful. But it was far from all the attractions of MB including the beach. The linens were shabby and one of the towels had a cigarette burn on it. the breakfast muffins and English muffins somehow managed to be stale every day. The staff was pleasant and they allowed dogs, which is why I chose this hotel. But when I got to MB I found […] several hotels right on the beach but not listed on hotels.com allowed dogs. Mehr

I really didn't like this hotel at all. It was very dirty. I need somewhere cheap for just 2 nights and thats what I got. Next time I will be staying somewhere else that's cheap because there were others. It was also too far away from where I wanted to be. I say if you want cheap for just a night or two its ok but look at the others first.

The only good things about this hotel is that it is cheap & pet friendly, we had to take our dog and I booked me and my family's hotel room at the last minute. The beds were super uncomfortable and rock hard, all I heard all night was people running down the hall, and doors slamming, and my dog was barking each time he heard a door slam. The room was […] really small and outdated. It's like 3 miles from the beach, and please don't go to MB during Labor Day weekend, super busy. I only reccomend this hotel for someone just staying the night who needs a cheap stay and dosen't care if they're near the beach. Mehr

Located between the Tanger Outlets & the beach itself for half the price of the hotels on Ocean Blvd. Front desk staff was helpful. Breakfast was decent. Parking lot needs repaving but you don't have to sleep there so you can overlook that..lol. I'd stay there again.

We were dismayed at the condition of our room. Paint was peeling off the ceiling in large pieces, so there was paint dust on everything. There was a wad of gum stuck to the night stand and coffee splashes on it as well. Sounded like guests were playing tag in the hallway during the night. The room was located first room down the hall right from the front check-in desk. It was smelly and was constantly being disturbed by the front door bell that rang all day and night. Housekeeping came around banging every morning before check out asking if you were leaving. The carpet was stained but the bed looked clean. You would expect a little more […] tidiness and less being disturbed when on a trip.... I was studying for a state exam for licensure and had to put up with all that noise. If you can deal with being disturbed, constant noise, and a little muskiness.... it's your place to stay!!!!! Breakfast......? what does anyone expect for free...? Stale pastries and a waffle... The rooms were decent, not spotless, bedspreads had white spots all over, had to sleep with only sheets, water turned cold in the middle of shower, beds and pillows were EXTREMELY hard, it was very overpriced. this hotel was the worst hotel i have ever booked. we were put in one room and as we open the door it smelled like mildew and cigarettes. so we called downstairs and asked to be moved. they acted like we were bothering them and told us to wait. after about 10 mins they told us we could go to another room. after getting to this room we open the door […] to find the same mildew smell only worse and when we walked into the room the back of the rooms floor was wet (like soaked). so we again tried to move rooms and this time he told us they had no other rooms so they sent the maid up to spray air freshner. Not a good weekend if i need to say so. Mehr

If your wanting to save money and don't really care about foul smells; than this is the place! We booked a non-smoking room, only to find out once we got there that the maid didn't come in and smoking was our only option. The whole floor smelled sooo bad!!!!
