Super 8 East Moline Il - East Moline

We were in E. Moline for a wedding. The room was clean and sufficient for our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was a restaurant next door which was convenient and the food was good and reasonable. The neighborhood was nice and seemed very safe. It was good quality for the money. We would stay here again.

It wasn't bad. It's in the area that I needed it to be. It's right down the road from Hy-Vee which also has a gas station. It's at the intersection of two important roads, Avenue of the Cities and John Deere Road. Our room had a fridge which is more than I can say for the Holiday Inn in Rock Island. I was staying for a week so a fridge was a must. On […] the food topic, the breakfast was pretty decent. The staff was pretty nice but some of the housekeeping staff would hang out right outside the back door and smoke. It isn't anything special but you get what you pay for and you won't be super disappointed. Mehr

The air conditioning in our room did not work very well. Their was no cool air coming out of the air conditioner. We were sweating all night.

Clean, good area, good restaurant next door just what I needed for the price, a room to sleep not a resort.

I was totally disappointed in the halls, lighting, dirty carpets, rust stained sink and toilet. Only had 1 set of very thin stained towels and had to go downstairs to get a 2nd set for my partner. Then the staff member said we only leave one set in room with only one bed. I am 55 and have travelled all over this country , and stayed in probably thousands […] of motels, and NEVER heard this excuse before. Also the 2 small flat pillows had to be rolled up to give any support at all. Avoid this super 8 - there is a new Comfort Inn right behind this motel (wish I had known before I booked this). Or go a few miles and stay at any of the several by the QCA airport. Mehr

This hotel definitely has been around a while. The room was comfortable enough for a night's stay though the pillows were way too flat and small. I was disappointed in that the bathtub was not scrubbed near enough to remove what I believe is removeable dirt/stains. A good bleaching would do I'm sure. The carpeting also looked like it could use replacing […] as well. However the service desk was very courteous, efficient and prompt with check in. I didn't stay long enough to think about neighboring area. I do know the diner next door had a very good breakfast. Mehr

When we arrived the room was freezing cold, it took over an hour for it to warm up. The beds are not very comfortable,thou it suited our purpose of just 1 night of sleep. I do recommend the Restaurant next door, the food was great and you get more food for your money.

Carpet near vanity was wet upon arrival (as noted by other reviewers). Old and worn, but okay if you need to be in that area. Next time we'll stay in IA with nicer places w/similar pricing.

I chose this hotel based on the location. The price was a little high compared to other places. It looks like this property has not been updated since the Carter administration. My non-smoking room reeked of smoke probably because of smokers in adjacent rooms. Mattresses were hard and pillows flat. At least the room was clean.

Hotel was conveniently located on a major road and easy to find. Hotel room was clean and seemingly in good repair. Service was good. Breakfast was lean -- seemed to be juice, cereal, and doughnuts only so we chose to eat at a restaurant. The surrounding neighborhood was apparently OK. It was a good place to stay at an inexpensive price.

Spartan but clean. No apparent ADA considerations like an elevator. Served it's purpose well as a cheap clean room. Not exceptional in any other dimension.
