Found the hotel very easily right at all the major highways for Nashville access. The owners were very helpful and attentive to our every need. It was a most pleasant stay and the convenience of booking on line was tremendous. We will stay there when next in Nashville.

This hotel was okay especially if you are on a budget. The rooms were small but overall it was worth the 48 dollars we paid for each night. They also need to do some remodeling to the rooms cause some of the ceiling are falling in some of the rooms.

Matresses were extremely uncomfortable, shower had a continuos leak from the hot water which made the bathroom and hallway very muggy and musty. I paid addtion for breakfast to be included with the room but there was really nothing worth eating for me and ended up every morning going over to the mcdonalds for breakfast. If you like waffles though you […] might be ok as that seemed to be what everyone ate. Your other choices were 2 dry cereals and packaged glazed small buns and nothing else. The coffee was empty every morning I went down as I didn't get up very early. I would only stay at this hotel again if I had no other choice. Mehr

This hotel was the Absolute WORST experience at a Super 8 I have EVER seen. The receiptionist at the desk spoke little English. Half of the light bulbs in the hallway were burnt out. There were stains in the carpet in the hallways. The hotel room had mold growing on the ceiling above the bed and in the bathroom. There was a needle in the bed cover that […] my niece sat on. Hotel staff would do nothing about the room cleanliness. The alarm clock did not work and the faucet was broke in the bathroom sink. The "Continental Breakfast" consisted of fruit loops and coffee. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Luckily we brought our own pillows because it was the dirtiest place I've ever been, if we wouldnt have bought the package with no refund for a lower rate we'd have left (which I have done before at super 8s). The beds had stains you could see on the side, the hallways looked like they hadnt been swept in months with […] clumps of dirt and hair everywhere. And as far as location it's not near oprymills or downtown, 5 miles further out than opry land actually. I generally had always looked at super 8 as a reliable place to stay as I have stayed in other locations throughout the country, but this place didn't even come close. So horribly disappointed! Mehr

The Manger was nice , the room was ok but we had needle in garbage can and some blood on carpet it wasn't in the nicest area but sheet was clean and bed was comfortable but will never stay there again

This hotel was cheap and great for a group of college students who didn't spend much time there. However, the toilet kept clogging, and maintenance didn't speak English. There was also only one very small mirror in the bathroom so that was difficult for 4 girls.

We stayed in Super 8 in Cartersville, Georgia and were very pleasantly surprised by the stadard of the hotel, the reception service and the breakfast. However, the Super 8 in Nashville was a different story altogether. The cleanliness wasn't great and the breakfast bar wasn't replenished or cleaned. Blankets and mattresses had blood on them. Dirty rubber glove in elevator. When I called the front desk, they told me there was no cleaning crew and that was the only person there so they would not and could not do anything. Was hung up on twice by front desk receptionist. Not a luxury hotel but for the money and the location it was perfect for an overnight stay. An older hotel but the rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. I would stay again.

The hotel stay was terrible. First it took about 20min. to wake someone to come to the front desk when she did come out she looked why are waking me up. The hotel was not clean at all. The carpet was so dirty we were afraid to step down, the orange juice was brown it wa so old and the apple juice looked like coke. It got the job done but the staff not overly friendly or accommodating, didn't mention anything about breakfast or ask how my stay was. There was a hair and a string in the bathroom from a previous guest, the bathroom faucet sprayed water, alarm clock hidden on windowsill behind curtain, and shower head loose and coming out of wall. This was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on. My husband was miserable driving the entire next day because his back hurt...and he's only 26. The location was decent enough (right off the interstate). We arrived completely exhausted from driving but had to ring the bell for about 10 minutes until someone came to the desk to check us in. The people at the desk were ill-informed as how to handle a hotel.com bookings. when we asked to split our bill, for instance, they quite tersely told us we had to take it up with hotels.com. i was also put off by the overall lack of care taken. the floor was dirty, and the rooms are in desperate need of a style update, not to mention a carpet cleaning. […] there is also an unpleasant odor of cooked Indian food in the air, which is great if you're out to eat but a drag the rest of the time. Usually have a problem with folks expecting a AAA stay with a A price. HOWEVER, this time I even I was very unpleasantly surprized with this facility. This hotel is for all purposes a DUMP! The recliner in the room was dirty, worn and with holes burned in the arms, hopefully before this was designated a non-smoking room. Even I was afraid to sit in it. I have read other reviews of hotels where it was stated they did not walk on the carpet without shoes. At this facility EVEN I wore shoes whenever I needed t walk around the room. I even checked the bed for evidence of bedbugs. Something I have never done before. In the bathroom, there was a 4 or 5 inch ong black hair on the lavatory, something any housekeeper would have noticed if he or she paid attention. The Super 8 Quickstart breakfast offerings were so unappealing I bypassed it and went to a nearby Waffle House, partly because I heasitated due to the dirtiness of the rest of the facility. The eating area was not clean a had some of the chairs still on top of the available tables during breakfast hours. I cannot believe this facility is branded a Super 8 as I can usually be assured of decent lodging at this chain. I probably should have been tipped off when the evening I arrived and was parking my care in what I felt was a well lit area and it would be safer. As I was parking, a gentleman I suppose was the manager, was letting a load of school kids out of his van. They must live upstairs above the room I was placed in as there was loud walking beginning around 4:30 and continuing the following morning. The weekend my wife and I spent in Nashville was so wonderful we cold have stayed in a cardboard box and still enjoyed ourselves. With that said, the Super 8 Nashville was convenient, easily accessible, and easy to find. The rooms were comfortable and the staff was friendly. I didn't care for the idea that no one was at the desk in the middle of the night. My roommate lost her key and had to wait for me to bring mine an hour later! Breakfast cuts at 9am...too early! Basic ok hotel no frills but fine if your just spending a quick night.

The hotel advertises Down town "NOT" it is quite a drive to down town. Their continental breakfast is real weak! Poor desk service. It is convienient to hy 65.

I recently chose to stay at this hotel because it was about $10 cheaper per night than staying at the days inn next door. I've stayed at the days inn as well and I would say it is definitely worth the extra money. Both are cheap. When the super 8 first gave us a room it had not been turned over yet. There was still garbage inside. The ground floor rooms […] had windows without locks and no screens. A friend that was staying in a different room than us had a bird fly in his room. He had the lady working the desk come and take it out for him but she did not clean up the large amount of bird excrement left behind by the bird. One of the two panes in the glass windows in one of our rooms was broken. The rooms are very small. If you get one with a fridge you can barely move around it to get into your room. Our bathroom was big enough and clean. There was free wifi and the lady working the front desk was very kind. It is easy enough to take a taxi from the hotel to get downtown for about $20. The beds in some of the rooms were oddly low to the ground. They were comfortable but had blankets that were not really big enough for the bed size they were on. Some of the fan/air conditioning units wouldn't turn on which was bad because we didn't want to leave the windows open with no screen. If I go back down there I will stay at the hotel next door. The rooms are much nicer and just a few dollars more. The area is not nice but you do not really feel like you are in danger when you are in either of their parking lots. There is also a waffle house next door. That makes everything ok, right? Also I would just like to say that Nashville is a wonderful town. Cool place even though I don't really like country music! Well it wasn't that close to downtown Nashville actually. It cost us 20$ cab ride to get to the city. And the room was so clold on Sunday it was crazy! Most likely as there is less customer they turn the heat down, but there is no way to control the temperature in the room :( brrrrr

When we arrived at Super 8 everything was good. We got our key right away for the room with no problems and our room was very easy to get to. The hotel is located right off of I-65 so it is very convenient but the neighborhood as you drive into town isn't very nice. Bars on windows and just looks like a ghetto. Carpets could be changed in rooms or floors […] could use a good cleaning. We had to wear slippers so our feet didn't feel nasty. Staying at this hotel was a very good experience. When I told people what hotel I was at they all said it's a bad part of town, but I didn't have any problems. We was only there to sleep and was gone most of the time, but I would stay there again. The employees were very friendly.

I thought for the price this was one of the best hotel experiences I have had. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable.

We liked how easy the hotel was to I-65 and The Grand Ole Opry. We were very disappointed in how very little there was for breakfast. The room size was nice and it had a big size TV.

This hotel was perfect for what we needed. Stayed two nights and only used the hotel for sleeping. I have no complaints. good area with lots of food and not too far from downtown.

I call the day before to informed the hotel of my late check -in. When I arrived he said you was the one that call me and shook his head. When I got to my room the heat was not own and wouldn't come on, so I call the front desk he didn't know what was wrong, as I was talking to him I notice the reset button on the heater plug. I hit the reset button […] and the heat came on. Overall the room was great for the price and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was fair, but there was a waffle house within walking distance. Very close to the Briley Parkway...WalMart is across the Pkwy. Just down the Pkwy from Grand Ole Opry. Very convenient

I wasn't expecting much as the reviews i read were bad and i was trying to find something cheap and in that location. It was an easy location in and out of the city, and it was cheap, but the hotel was pretty run down. We asked for a non-smoking room, and the floor we were on had no-smoking signs on every door and yet the hallway was really smokey. […] Luckily the room didn't seem to be, but every time we went up and down the hallway it was like walking through a cloud. Elevator was scarey, and carpet too. The area wasn't too bad right where the hotel was, but right up the road wasn't so great. Tho our vehicle seemed safe in the lot and we had a lot in it. It was cheap, so if you want a quick in and out and can deal with not so nice accommodations, then this hotel will do. Mehr

Two star for a reason, and that may be generous. AC not on when arrived at room although reservations were made well in advance. Not a problem for spring and fall but for end of July this was not pleasant as it took several hours for the room to cool. Had problem getting key card working due to door handle being loose requiring specific instructions […] on how to hold it while swiping the key. TV remote was not programmed for the TV in the room. Bathtub had a pull-up bar missing exposing two holes that allowed shower water to enter between bathtub and wall. the hotel staff was very nice but... the room was gross. it smelled so bad i had to spray cologne to try and mask it! and the bed was bad.. they had no other room to switch so i had to suck it up... only stay if it's your last resort

It looked nice on the internet but when we got to check in I wanted to walk right back out but my husband didn't want to loose the money we put down. We found this hotel to be quite a distance from the downtown area including the Country Hall of Fame, etc. and it was a difficult journey to find downtown. The hotel itself was very clean and spacious and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was more than adequate. The staff were helpful. We had to walk some way to find cafes.
