Super 8 San Antonio SeaWorld - Medical Center Area - San Antonio

There was a water leak and the carpet under the sink was soaking wet. Shampoo was poured in the tub and the cap was off. Like the maintenance crew wash up. The breakfast was out of coffee and the trash was over flowing. Worst stay ever!

We just stayed 10 hours, but the desk clerk brought us an extra bed when our room had only one in a timely manner. Breakfast was good.

For location and price, this hotel is a good deal. Fairly clean, has a swimming pool and basic continental breakfast. If you want better service and quality, go to the Marriott.

Very comfortable, quiet hotel, convenient to the freeway and access to the city and Hill Country visits, but breakfast was a bit disappointing and only one restaurant in the immediate neighborhood.

For one night the stay was okay, but if we were to stay longer I and my large son and husband would have preferred a queen size bed and a larger room. My daughter and myself had no problem with the double bed.

Convientaly located near the Mall, Bestbuy, and a little place where people sale drugs in the restroom & everyone wears TapOut shirts Ojos Loco!

Pleasant and economical place to stay if you are looking for a hotel for evening stay while taking a round of San Antonio. Close to I-140 and I-10 which made it easy to navigate from one side of SATX to another. Was difficult to find at first, but then coming back was a breeze. Thank you for the hospitality.

Very disappointing. The only reason I selected this place was it was the only thing left in a reasonable distance from where I needed to be because of spring break. I paid 4 star prices for a .5 star dump that I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.

Pool is small but deep. Room is comfortable but feel very closed in. Had a coffee maker, microwave, and mini fridge. That was nice to have. Breakfast is nothing fancy; toast, muffins, cereal, waffles, OJ, apple juice, milk. Still a breakfast and free so no complaining here. Breakfast area is small so get there early. Bring bowl unless you like to eat […] small portions of cereal. Staff is nice and helpful. Mehr

We hated this hotel! Also this is my first written negative review. The room must have been a recently converted non-smoking room because it reeked of cigarettes. The manager 'claimed' the whole hotel was 'smoke free' but as we were walking to our room smoke was in the air. We asked for a different room because 1 of my kids has asthma and of course […] they had no other rooms and basically acted as if we were lying. We had no choice but to stay because it was Spring break & rooms were booked up everywhere. We got major attitude the 2 nights we were there. There was 5 of us & 2 towels in the room. My husband went to the front desk to ask for more and she handed him 2 more then rolled her eyes when he said there was 5 of us! We have stayed in Super 8 many times and this was a 1st. There are other Super 8's in San Antonio (don't stay at this 1.) Mehr

The breakfast left something to be desired! Only had 3 cereals and some old stale blue berry muffins. The chair at the desk in our room was missing a wheel so if you sat in it you either fell over or sat crooked. But what can you expect for what we paid

This is advertised as Super 8 Sea World. When actually its further away than the Super 8 That is less than a mile from Sea World. Very cheap price for a good central location to most of San Antonio's sites. If your goal is Sea World stay at the closer Super 8. If your goal is tr rest of San Antonio you can't beat the price.

It was close to Lackland AFB which was nice however you get what you paid for. The room was semi-clean. We reserved a king bed on hotel.com but were given a room with 2 double beds. The bathroom everyday was given new towels but not cleaned. Beds were never given new sheets during our 5 day stay. The water pressure in the shower is terrible. The "pool" […] should be called a bath tub because it's so small. We were on a low budget which is why we stayed here; so like I said you get what you pay for. Mehr

need to work on furniture, it was taped up for door to remain open on armoire. then lower portion of same was held closed with paper shoved into door. ----- also nothing is plugged(phone, lamp, clock etc..) , very inconvienient.

Basic Hotel...Location close to lots of food, and shops. Not much in the way of upscale, but the beds were comfortable. The room had a funny odor, but for we paid I would stay again if I needed to.

Found woman's underware in my bed and hairs in my shower. Too bad I did not find them before I went to sleep or got in the shower. I would have requested a new room. Management moved me to a nicer room the next night. I still feel like the room I slept in the first night had not been cleaned and the sheets on my bed had not been changed between me and […] the prior customer. I use to like this hotel, but the last few times I have stayed there I have not been happy with the cleanliness of my rooms. This time was the final straw. Will never stay there again. Mehr

We arrived late evening. Room was stuffy because air had not been turned on. The iron had something burned onto it. Thankfully, I checked it before ironing a new dress shirt. MAJOR CONCERN: We left briefly early the next morning. I had forgotten our room key. There was an older man and a young lady at the front desk who had not been there before. When […] I told them I walked out without our key, the man asked what room and made me a new key WITHOUT ASKING FOR ID and confirming who should have access to the room. The hotel was good and clean, service wasnt bad cleaning crew very polite, only thing why it doesnt get a 5 is because the security. Need to be better at knowing whos coming in and out.

Don't recommend an Inn in this hotel. Hotel needs to be renovated. For $20.00 more I could have stayed on a better hotel.

We had two rooms. One room had hair in the tub drain, pulled out, and a dirty towel in the tub. Our son was unable to shower before he went to bed. We accidentally left our grandsons bed buddy in our room and we called to speak to the clerk and she said she would check with housekeeping and call us back. She never did. We live in AZ. For starter, 3 out of 5 room lights do not work. Coffee machine does not work. Beds are very uncomfortable and carpet is nasty. Bathroom had pi** marks all over the bowl. Stay away!

The Hotel was being renovated while we were there. The rooms directly accross from our room were being worked on so some of the furniture was put into our small room. The sound of saws and hammering as well as the dust from all the work made us leave and only return late at night when the workers left for the evening. There were several empty rooms […] at the other end of the hall and yet they put us there. I would not recomend the Hotel at this time, may be better after all the renovation is done. Mehr

When I arrived, the hotel was at 25% capacity and was told I could not check in early unless I wanted to pay an added fee. I returned at 3:00 p.m. and was asked for the credit card I used to pay hotel.com as I was informed hotel.com had not submitted payment. Then was told hotel.com informed them that if I did not give the credit card I paid hotel.com, […] hotel was not to allow me to check in and stay. The hotel was cheap but not worth the hassel. Horrible location. It was extremely hard to get into the actual parking lot and there is only one way to get in and out. Room was tiny and the bathroom was not overly clean. The toilet was loose and moved when you sat on it. No soundproofing ntwn rooms either. It would have been worth the extra money to.stay someplace safer

Should be named Average 8 hotel. Had to switch rooms because the show was not working correctly. Overall, the hotel is functional at best and served its purpose. Its not too bad for the price but I guess you get what u paid for. If you are on a budget and need a place to crash, I would recommend this place. If not, pay a few more bucks and go elsew […] here. I just have good words to talk about my experience with this hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel itself is great. I recommend it for business or for family trips.

I very rarely post reviews, however, I felt compelled to warn others NOT to stay at this hotel. You will feel safer and cleaner in your car. The “gentleman” on duty was rude and the hotel was disgusting. Upon checking in, and seeing the room, I immediately turned around and left. The smell was unbearable, the halls were dark, and the elevator floors […] were sticky and just overall poorly maintained. There is a way to be a low-cost/budget hotel without being filthy. Mehr

Cheap but could use some maintance and cleaning!!!

Stayed at this hotel, good price. The breakfast was pretty good, the only thing was there was no number in our room door. Overall good hotel.

1. I really appreciated the manager volunteering to allow me to park my motorcycle near the office window where they could keep an eye on it. 2. The staff was very friendly and helpful. 3. I was not happy to find a broken outlet cover within an inch of my bed frame. For an overnight stay, the price was well within range.

I stayed in the hotel and was in general Ok, good money saving, very quiet and good neighborhood, safe location, they have continental breakfast. The only issues were: old dirty towels with obvious hair in it... so u might carry your own towels for better stay, also the toilet looks old. I think it's OK in general to save and stay but not recommended […] for family vacation. Mehr

Enjoyed the stay and found everything accessible; even the places to eat! To be almost maxed out with guests, sound quality and bed comfort were on point! Most helpful was the savings being on a tight budget. Thanks a zillion

I was very surprised with this hotel. I had called the hotel a few days before our trip to make sure that they really had a fridge and microwave in the room (due to past experience) and was told that every unit had both. When we got there the guy at the front desk was very nice and greeted me within seconds of coming into the lobby. He was very friendly […] compared to alot of other front desk managers that we have dealt with lately. The hotel is one of those indoor kind where you have to go through the lobby to get to your rooms (besides the side doors). The halls were rather clean compared to the outside which could use an update. The room was EXTREMELY clean. . The floors and carpets were clean. The bathroom looked brand new. The bedding looked new which is a huge deal for a cheap hotel. The pillows on my bed were a little firm for my taste. There were the ammenities that were stated on the website (FOR ONCE). The breakfast wasn't bad:waffles, muffins, toast, cereal, etc. For the price, it was a great hotel and we would definitely stay again. It was easy to get to from Sea World and was within a decent distance from fast food places. The only complaint was the parking lot. The side directly in front of the entrance (lobby) was a bit on the dangerous side. It was on the edge of a dropoff. Other than that it was great. Mehr

There was a huge palmetto bug in the room. Carpet didn't seem clean. Nice to have fridge and microwave in room.

The room we got first only one light worked and the phone did not work. I had to go to front desk to talk to them about changing rooms. They changed us room it was the last room they had. The second room smelled like smoke when we walked in and the window open trying to let it out.
