Enjoyed our stay very much! I thought the spurious trees growing behind and against the back side of the buildings should be pruned off, they were pruned only to look nice from the street side. From the dog walk area the piles of trash and trees growing against the side and back of the building was very ugly - gave a whole different view of the place […] considering it would only take a day or two to clean them up. I work in maintenance at RV campgrounds and Resorts, appearance is everything! Mehr

What I would expect from a Super 8 hotel. Breakfast was nothing special and actually skipped it the second morning. Nice to have a pool on-site. I would stay here again.

Nice hotel with friendly staff and nice rooms. Only one complaint. There are two small hot tubs in the pool area, which would be great if they both worked. Only one did. Otherwise we would go back stay.

Rooms were nicely remodeled and clean but I give it a 3 because of the bathrooms which were probably only painted and while they were ok, not as clean as I would have liked. Beds were comfortable. Dogs welcome. Breakfast was convenient. Would stay again.

The room that I stayed in was great overall, and surprising. The room was very well decorated and spacious. A definite do-over.

Very clean. Staff was extremely polite and helpful. Great breakfast. Indoor pool and hot tub. Sauna and an outdoor sundeck with two jacuzzi hot tubs. Much more than what you would expect from Super 8 yet still at a Super 8 price.

The staff at the front desk were very kind and friendly. The breakfast was great. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I really appreciate that Super 8 Motels allow for pets, my dog was glad she could spend the night with me.

For an inexpensive hotel, this a great place. We used the pool and the hot tub, all very clean and the beds were comfortable. They are dog friendly, and that's important for us. It's also right across the road from the salida hot springs pool, and the hotel management will give you discount coupons for use of that facility too. We will be visiting again […] for sure, we're regulars, we are up there 5 or 6 times per summer. Mehr

We stayed three nights but had to switch rooms the last night. The first room was excellent..... the second room not so good. This owner is in the process of remodeling the place - and is somewhat on target....Suggestions would be to install receptical strips so lap top/phone etc can be plugged in without moving furniture.... Second would be - shorten […] the drapes so the fan does not blow them out into the room all night. Have them fix that and let us know - we will go back and stay again Mehr

Recently remodeled....everything was just very nice. The staff recommendations for eating were spot on. It is an open courtyard but even full...it was completely quiet. They let us check out a bit late with no charge and were accommodating in every way.

even with the remodeling going on the place was very quite at night and the staff was wonderful! The room was very clean and the towels were to die for. it was a very welcome change from our stay in albuquerque!!

rooms were a little dated, but everything was very clean. Hotel maintenance was going on so there was a lot of activity. Not a very good area close by the hotel to walk the dogs, but Salida is beautiful and there are plenty of places to drive and walk the dogs.

The rooms were very clean, the management were extremely nice and helpful and the hot tubs and whirlpools were so relaxing. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the Salida area.

Not the fanciest but for the price it is a great place to stay. We spent 5 nights and had no complaints. Management is fantastic.

Super 8 hotels are usually new and clean. This one was not. Super 8 must have bought an old hotel and changed the name, but nothing else. We were stuck in smoking rooms and they smelled so bad that my daughter cried and couldn't get to sleep. The carpets were so disgusting, I wouldn't let my children get on the floor.

Hotel was basic, room was small, front desk friendly and bfast was adequate Room was a bit pricey, but that is Colorado in the summer

we had occasion to contact the management about our reservation on two occasions. They were very unsympathetic to traveler's concerns.They made it very clear that once they had our money, they cared nothing about the quality of our stay. I would definitely NOT stay with them again.

This was a great spot to spend a few days hiking, soaking in hot springs and hanging out with our dog. This dog-friendly hotel had a decent free breakfast, good hot tubs and pool and friendly helpful staff. .
